  1. Lovely pics! Esther pls keep it up, u make us proud. Big up to MC Wabwino and JK, u guys rock and are super successful in your own right!

  2. Pics. 1-5 – The Esther Phiri show. Not that we begrudge her, in fact, wish her all the best.
Pic. 9 – Police at Football House – Government interference!
Pics. 13 & 14 – These two really got married? What a shame!
Pic. 12 – MCS looks like he’s ready to slug somebody, and I think he could do it were the press not there.
    Otherwise not bad.

  3. LT, Well done, your cameras were very busy going by the number of people you ‘captured’ in This week in pictures.

  4. ******* @5. If you had watched Big Brother Africa, you’d be embarrassed saying what you’re saying now. Sorry for you mate.

  5. There was the talk of change of ZP uniforms. Has the change not yet been implemented or what? Has the money for the uniforms disappeared or what? Where are the new Zambia Police blue uniforms? I demand to know NOW!!!!!

  6. Great pics LT.

pic #6 those 2 journalists on the right still look cute even when they screw their faces! Natural born beauty, they don’t even need that eye shadow & mascara… LoL!

pic #8 – that’s what a departure lounge should look like. Le’ts hope the standard is maintained.

Nice to see ambitious Zambian going around, doing this and that in sports, music & entertainment. You only have one life to live, so live it BIG while you can…

  7. Picture 9 and 10

Zed…ni military chebe…come people..we are good loving people-Zedians that cant really express themselves coz of guns pointing at us…my opinion.

  8. No. 2 My thoughts exactly LOL!! but you gotta know being an Arsenal fan should come with a health warning (but not saying that is what caused the death in this case)

Why is Mwisho’s wife already drinking heavily – things must be tough

Pic 8 – from what I can see its just the tiles and restuarant chairs that were refurbished – come on Zed we can do better than this. What happened to the rumour that we were building Terminal two??

  9. Ba LT, this week you ve been given A+, you have captured very good pics, 1 handsome MCS, Esther ni zee pa states, MC wabwino, JK, bana ngondo and thandi. no ugly faces this week. You should have avoided the DEC guy and included Mayuka.

  10. Pic#2, well in England you often see these banners, football, Man U, Arsenal etc first, wife second, at many grounds. Maybe she believes in that philosophy. I just didn’t know however, that Arsenal also did “ifitenge”. Once a gooner always a gooner, even in death.

  11. More pictures of the departure lounge at the Lusaka international airport would be nice so i know what to expect kale

Otherwise i like all the pictures you have shares keep it up

  12. @#2 Mr Ngondo could have been a keen supporter of the Gunners like me so the wife had to dress in that Chitenge in remembrance of the good moments they used to have in the leaving room while watching Arsenal pray.

  13. PIC 11
Why is Sata posing with other peoples’ wives?
Where is his wife? She hasn’t been seen in public since… daughter’s wedding or so!

  14. #28 does it mean that when you loose a loved you only mourn with tears? I think mourning is a personal thing and an internal thing, people mourn in so many different ways. People can also show crocodile tears and make you believe that they are mourning. Dont judge a book by its cover.

  15. pic#11,is that the govt in waiting????
Pic#8, I can’t believe my eyes that’s our Lusaka Int’l airport coz I was there just early this yr.
Pics#1-8, good progress there Ester but pls consider retiring if u’ve saved ‘enuf’ now.Parkinsonism won’t treat u kindly when it sets in.
Pic#7, is that the widow RB was reportedly consolling?Didn’t know ba Ngondo also married a ka young woman.Men from the east have taste it seems.Rest in peace our dear parent.
Pic#16-18, why not show part of the audience so that we know our singer wasn’t just jumping in a subway station on his way to starbucks?

  16. Pic 11 & 12 just confirms that we have not yet found the saviour for our beloved mother Zambia, who will change our country for better come 2011 kaya?

  17. Lusaka Times picture editor, try your hardest to vary sentences describing the same subject of a picture appearing in different scenes. For Instance, we all already know from the first picture that Ester Phiri is zambian boxing sensation camped in miami where she is getting ready for her January fight. There is no need to repeat that narration in successive pictures. That bores some of us to sleep. Not claiming to be perfect, but I have observed this with you way too long. I know you can do it better ha ha ha!

  18. MMD is ready for alliance – Chituwo

A PLAN to KILL UNPD (by danggling a carrot)

MMD is trying to find a tactic to Kill UNPD by simply absorbing it and indirectly killing it. These are some of the tactics most prone to be hatched by Mwanga and Chiluba. They tried it by overtaking PF but failed since Sata new these tactics. UPND look out MMD is all out to get you.

UPND supporters please read between the lines. open your eyes.

  19. @40,Kojo, to be honest, if HH wants to ever rule zambia then let his party form an alliance with MMD but if he wants to remain in opposition forever, which by the way is also good for our democracy, let him remain with Sata. With the 50+1 out of the 2011 game MMD might just scoop the elections again even with a 1% lead and HH will be irrelevant then. The UPND will start pushing for change of leadership and that will be the end of HH politically. The young man would have been our president as we are talking now if he had put his pride aside and accepted LPM’s invitation to work with him.I’m afraid he will end up writing a book entiltled: “HH- the zambian president that never was.”

  20. #36 shikulupipo I haven’t laughed so hard on LT in a long time! Looking at the picture closely, I must say your point really stands undisputed.

pic #6 John Nyawali could easily qualify for an Eddie Murphy look-alike contest.

LT continue to ban bloggers like #5. They somehow manage to keep coming back with more filth…

  21. pic#7.. up the gunners.once a gunner always a gunner until death do us apart.they shoud now start doing arsenal underwear.good market too!!

  22. picture 1 is cool…and just an advice…you should have thought of camping here in Cuba, its effective and cheap…..we have got some boxers here not to mention some young talented zambians studying sports and physical education.
