Mulongoti needs no sympathy – Saunders

Share

Former Works and Supply Minister Mike Mulongoti

A Political analyst has observed that Mike Mulongoti’s dismissal by republican president Rupiah Banda is a warning to all MMD members that take citizens for granted.

Dante Saunders says he has no sympathy for Mr. Mulongoti because he is one of the members in the fore front advocating for zero tolerance for democracy.

Mr. Saunders says time has come for Mr. Mulongoti to face reality and feel what Zambians who have been fighting for democracy in the country feel.

He said it is unfortunate that Mr. Mulongoti will have to face reality as he did not utilize the opportunity he had, to put things straight whilst he was still in government.

Mr. Saunders says the action taken on Mr. Mulongoti is evidence enough that MMD does not give opportunities to the younger generation.

He added that Mr. Mulongoti should blame himself for the mess in the MMD as he never acted on it when he was still in government.

  1. ya chachine nikachabe chabe ka mudala aka…but kanga titandize kupeleka RB ku farm…..let him keep fighting RB in the in the MMD. WE NEED FOR INFIGHTING WITHIN THE MMD.

  2. Those who live by sword shall live by sword. The same sword that Mulongoti used on Magande and Mpombo has been used on him.

  3. No: 1. Why should Mike continue fighting RB? Your thots are retrogressive! Let Mike swallow his own problems, and think for his future political life!

  4. yes, let Mulongoti repent of his sins he commited against Zambians. The man was just too bad towards the poor Zambians. Let him feel how Zambians feel when they are denied democracy. Very useless Mulongoti. Really God is hearing our prayers, many shall fall.

  5. I totally agree with Dante Saunders, our country is in a mess because of people like Mulongoti. He thought he was born in government and would never leave. Its nice to see you on the other side of the stick. The same Times of Zambia and Daily Mail you were defending will be used against you. The Post you were calling names, will be the one you will be courting. The freedom of information bill you were shooting down, you will want it now. Welcome back to mother earth.

  6. Thats what you get when you speak against RB, the man is a pure dictator he’s afraid he’ll lose the MMD presidency. I’m sure kafupi lectured him on how to engineer a win. Mr Mulongoti will now experience like on the dark side, welcome brother, we receive you with open arms hopefully you’ll retire tp your farm (assuming you bought one or a few).

  7. Agony is to catch the Egyptian Democratic Fever when you are a nominated MP and MMD cabinet minister. Good riddance, Ba Mike.

  8. Where is the BIG NOSE shikaps. I am sure he is enjoying the circus and come Monday, he will utter some rotten words as usual on this matter. We are waiting to hear from you Mr big Mpuno.what do you have to say about this exit of ur friend?

  9. The TRUE BLUES should realised that this not the democracy they fought for in 1991.Rupiah has reduced them to his praise singers with new terminologies such as “sole candidate, endosed” which are against the principles of democracy. Mulongoti is cruel,he evicted Mpombo badly.

  10. He surely deserves no sympathhy he was acting like a little chihuahua snapping at evrybody that dared RB. I hope the POST won’t forget his sins just because his fallen out with their arch-enemies.

  11. Teta and Mulongoti who fought for Banda thru thick and thin to be adopted are gone. Others like Dollar will now enjoy the fruits. What a pity for people who think they r untouchable. Next will be RB himself. Hope the people will show them the way!

  12. Brave mind #17 Just because you parrot the ascendancy to power of somebody does not mean that you can have them in your bag. What RB has shown is true leadership. He is not going to tolerate insurbodination even a few months away from elections. Mr Mulongoti worse for him, he has no constituency. H e should have known better.

  13. RB and Mulongoti and both in the sinking boat…the only difference is that Mulongoti will be vacating government housing and surrender government vehicles within 30 days while Banda will vacate state house between September and November thereabout.

  14. It’s surprising that Banda will support the candidature of Kunda knowing only too well that the man is terminally ill and will most likely not live to see the polling day. The next time you hear that Kunda has been evacuated to South Africa, it’s bye bye! Same with Sata, the man collapsed two weeks ago from an irregular heart beat, the next attack will surely knock Zondwe out and down 6 feet. Why all these diseased lumpens want to hold office vexes me deeply.

  15. He harrased Mpombo over the official vehicle now he’ll test his own medicine. Am happy that this little bastard he’s now on RB’s wrong side together with the other idio.it called Mangani. He will soon know what us normal people think of Mr ‘holiday is forever’ Banda. I hope GK unleashed DEC and ACC on him even as soon as tomorrow so that he learns to regard others with respect when is up there.
He won’t even get to challenge Red Lip because he’ll still be on suspension when MMD will rubber stamping RB’s chosen minions. Good ka Mulongoti.

  16. #1&2 john phiri of Mpika, stop dreaming and correct the ills in your party. MMD is strengthening, oiling and fine tuning its war machine by ridding itself of liabilities like Mpomb, Misapa, and now Mulongoti. You should also be ridding yourself of liabilities starting with Sata. And all you can do is dream on?

  17. Those agreeing with Dante are totally WRONG!! What on earth do you think he lost his job for, if NOT TRYING TO FIGHT ANTI-DEMOCRATIC TENDENCIES WITHIN THE PARTY??? The other major players whom people think are rising stars in the party such as Pande, simply have no balls to stand for what they believe, instead they have acquiesced to RB’s wishes!! So instead of laughing at the man, sympathise with him. Remember SATA also came to being by similiar exit, when he believed he was untouchable in MMD.

  18. The sower sows and other will reap. Mulongoti worked hard to have RB adopted. He sidelined mpombo, magande and others. Now it’s your turn.

  19. The looks of a buffoon cannot bring change to any meaning Zambian. This fool has been bootlicker, a yes bwana, and an incorrigible fool for who in my opinion deserves a job of a kalakhi. These are *****s that have laid there inexperienced mind on the wheels of our country and drowned our dreams. They never allowed divergent views. Any other person that spoke development or different opinion was an enemy. F.ck these hypocrites. Zambian we still have plenty of time and opportunity to redefine our future not these fontini F.Ckers

  20. GOOD RIDDANCE THIS CHAP AND TENTAMASHIMBA (mhsrip) , thought they will never be outside government , HE WAS SO RUDE TO THE OPPOSITION AND MOCKED THEM, WHO SO EVER DIG THE PITY SHALL FALL IN IT

  21. Is this Saunders guy is very biased. he sounds more of an MMD cadre not a proffessional political analyst. Has a point but I don’t like his analysis

  22. Mulongoti deserves what is happening to him but I also ssalute him for further exposing the RBish in MMD. Viva Sata

  23. Ka Mike you thought you were living in Heaven while you were living in hell. I hope no opposition political party will get you in their ranks. If they do, let them make you start as a cadre since you were one where you are coming from. Or just form your own political party, which will take more than 20 years to be known in Zambia.

  24. fooolish pride by this bustard for the first time i agree with dante. soon mulongoti will start running away from teargas like mpombo. now we have mpombo, sata, mluongoti mmembe malupenga as buddies hehe hehe hehe hehe hehe lol

  25. Dear Secretary to the cabinet, please send some people to go and grab ka mulongoti’s official car the same way he grabbed Mpombo’s car. But this life awe sure things can change over night.
