  1. People shoulc have better and constructive things to do. This is why we dont develop. This entire MMD team is walking to dance. What do you achieve at the end of the day from dancing. C’mon people go do some research on how we can make solar energy driven vehicles for example!!!

    • Mmmm Anne shuwa, how many of these ceremonies do we have and ho long do they take. What were you doing responding to this instead of sitting down and drawing a new plan to develop Kabwe

    • Why talk about maureen finshi amichita kanshi mwebantu na jealous ishipwa finshi mufwaya let us be mature in handling personal issues are you saints yourselves.

  2. Joemwa might be reborn through the Kamwla pupil. Am sure he will kepp us amused for years to come. Well done

  3. Anne – What is wrong with dancing, after a hard 40 something years work?Enjoy life at times or else you will never reach age yaba william banda aba shanashana.

  4. Pic#1
I will say it boldly, though God can do all things, He cannot raise a virgin up after she has fallen. Neither can he raise a King who has fallen from GRACE,for all but his subjects will look down on him as a disgraced ruler.
Man’s shame is indeed between his legs, a fool’s between his cheeks.

  5. Awe bana Chiluba mwamoneka bwino sana!!!! Nomba kamudala ka Chiluba kalemoneka kwati kalekota nomba. Tamwakakabutuke nakena efyo mwacitile ba Mwanza!!!!! Muchili mulemoneka bwino mayo!!!!!!

  6. Pic #8 & #9 Shikulu shikulu , bika dance,  bika dance, bika dance. Show them kids how we used to do it back in the days when Ba Kunda banned Bum Dance.

Amasha bakulu ku boka, without kuboko, Musana, show them shikulu.

  7. Haaaa, Mama “Legina”, Ukubalolesha Ba chiluba, Tau ikuta Kung’anda? You look dangerous woman KUKATI. Kwati walabamina??? Bobe?? Take it easy.

  8. Our researchers say that with the hush sun, people should lear huts or caps to protect themselves from the harmful effects of sun.

  9. Iwe chi ANNE ok i call u by the plural of anne ….ANUS . Whats with pipo dancing on africa freedom day? Is that how judge that people are not hard working cmon be real

  10. If FTJ choze to lead a life az a former prezident, the Zambianz would have brobably “forgotten” about any alleged wrong he might have done in office including the “third term” bid. He would be a darling of the public az a pioneer and champion of democracy with hiz wife Regina, but now everything just appearz comical. My heart bleedz.

  11. Regina looks like a man. I bet you a million bucks there’s a penus and scrot beneath that dress. She and her imbeecile of a husband together with Rupiah Bozo Clown Banda belong to the gallows in Chimbokaila.

  12. Ka Chiluba kali kosa, sure he grabbed the wife from my brother Mwanza and he is now freely enjoying the fruit, huh, but kwena

  13. Pict 1.
Look at this lovely couple. There is biochemistry between them. They are really in love. It is rare to see a picture of our top politicians in Zambia looking like this with their spouses. Keep it up the Chilubas. Fred is third time lucky.

  14. Pict 10 caption is a lie. These women are too young to be freedom fighters. None of them is older than 60, so when did they fight for freedom?
Ok, perhaps its freedom from KK’s UNIP.

  15. Pictures no# 8,9, 10 and 12, thank you galant warriors from freeing us from tyrannical British rule. For it is you that allows us to post on LT. Even for the two bandas to dance and eat national cake. If there was a way I would buy atleast one freedom fighter a dress or suit plus a bible to say thank you.

  16. Nice to see LT freedom fighters still posting, for I read new bloggers that I recognize not. Abash cadre-ism of any sort think independently my people and obey the Lord Jesus. For only a God fearing person can fight for independence like the dancing heroes above, and only one righteous can fight for justice and economic independence for every Zambian.

  17. So my fellow youths are we going to be modern day freedom intellectual fighters or mere MMD-UNIP, UPND-free~mason, PF-kaponya extremists, HERITAGE- one man presidential material but selfish, FDD- only real woman candidate material for president ? Or are we the change Zambia needs to become the new Nineveh after the repented and God blessed them? We alas are Zambias present and future.

  18. my own is advice to zambians not to insult on this media, let us use it positively please.
leave the couple to love themselves.Ba chiluba did not grad.the had problems both sides.VIVA RB NAFUTI NAFUTI.

  19. 20. Enough of freedom fighters thank you… guys. We need new fighters. Poverty fighters illeteracy fighters, hunger fighters, disease fighters…You freedom fighters can dance all day.. it wont bring food to the table.

  21. iwe # 4 basiye bafana. ba chaya ma poem. ma jelousy chabe ayo.i we unachita po recite poem pa African fredom day? mumenya chabe bantu mukumboni.. mambala iwe

  22. # 19 No way Reloaded
You started well, finally you have gone too far :) Dissappointed with your remarks maiche..

  23. @#2Anne what have yourself done for the development of Zambia other than being an arm-chair critic.Trying to show off like you are so smart and yet you are just dander heads growing faster than i.d.i.o.t.s. at your age you have never seen people dance at an occassion like this?

  24. A good question
: What do you want to do for mother zambia A bad question: what do you want mother zambia to do for you?

  25. LT thanks for the pics, however, would be appreciate some more pictures from other parts of the country involving people all walks of life and not just MMD.

The skill of the drummers and the joy of our dancing elders is simply captivating and makes me home sick. :-\”
Akalela, Imbeni, Vimbuza, Nyau, kalindula, were Sunday afternoon entertainment. Are they still being enjoyed in some parts of the country. I would not mind purchasing DVDs of such.

  26. Icalo chaliyafya sana. Nomba ba Mwanza nga bamona madam ba fyele nankwe abana abengi sana ali naba chiluba. How does the man feel? Awe Chiluba walilufyanya sana!!! obvious chilamukalipa mudala, though naliunfwa ati kali mupela indalama ishingi mwanza ka mambala. Ati aleti nga aya ku Bank kusangafye impiya shileya shilefula yet he had not deposited anything!!!!!

  27. #42, Regina is the one who is dirty minded… you don’t know anything about me and so let us not waste time on you and me.. at least we know something…. not all… about Regina ,.. so lets talk about the devil in here… REGINA.. the apple in Adams eyes… in eden village…whatever that is…

  28. It looks like in Zambia any event is dominated by MMD. Look at Africa freedom day only MMDs are there. Shame everything in Zambia you only see mmd. Look at the Minister of Education each she addressing the student just talking about what RB is doing. Lord help us

  29. I think this blog sums up how pipo used to feel about chiluba even before he died. Chap wasnt liked too much.

  30. I do not agree with #47. Postings here are by no means true representation of how Dr.FTJ was viewed. Genuine Zambians who understand where we have come from and the vision Chiluba had for country would tell you that FTJ is a one in million. Single-handedly he fought for freedom of expression, democracy and free market economy. In the 70s, 80s and early 90s UNIP was fire and if anyone dared to touch it they truly got burnt and never to be seen or heard. Chiluba remained the lone voice and fought with fire in the process roughed up but still got up and carried on the fight. Mwanawasa destroyed Chiluba’s reputation and suppressed his accomplishment by playing the ‘game of corruption clean up’ in the media. It could have been done better internally since FTJ remained party leader.

  31. Its not easy for the generation that came of age in the 1990s and 2000s to believe that Chiluba was not as bad as portrayed by the post tabloid. Remember there was Mutembo Nchito, Post and the taskforce that stood to benefits while this case kept going. By his nature Chiluba was above tabloid pettiness and never responded to critics’ insults or otherwise.Mwanawasa also had his agenda of revenge from his 1991 accident when he was Chiluba’s Vice President. He strongly believed there was Party complicity to eliminate him, though could not be proved. If his fight for corruption was in good faith, the Ministry of Health Scandal involving Kapoko would have been detected and stopped right on his watch. Instead he cast a blind eye all else but Chiluba and his ministers yet never succeeded.
