Dario Bonetti on Wednesday named his 22-man team to face Zimbabwe in a friendly in Harare on August 10.
The team, that will include 8 home-based players and will go into camp in Lusaka on August 7, will be without any European and Asian-based players due to logistical reasons.
Bonetti says all foreign-based players will join the team in Harare on August 8 by lunchtime because the team will have its first full team training session in the Zimbabwean Capital on the same day at 16:00.

good to see Dube Phiri in the team . The boy has exceptional skills. He and Collins Mbesuma are know to do only one thing, score goals.
good to see that it is almost a full team though i have observed that some names ares missing. we need to win every game we play so as make our ranking improve go zambia go
as a molder, i am proud to see Dube in the team, my one wish is to see goals materialise..
Friendly games count on the Fifa rankings. Fifa rankings are vital when it comes to players being bought by big teams. The premier league does not buy players from lowly ranked countries so please let us win this one so that next ranking we are in the 50s. Zimbabwe has improved too much from the last time we lost from them and playing in Harare is not easy. I do not think we have ever won in Harare. The strikers for Zambia are not impressive. I would have been happy if Mayuka was in the team.
Why, dario have you lost interest in Joseph Musonda and E Mayuka. People I thought Musonda Joseph was the best number 3 for zed as at now, 2nd to Whtison Changwe in the history of Zambian football.
#4 … yes we have beaten then on home soil before… remember Funny Hangunyu or Kalusha Bwalya (the player)… that was then! but again i agree we needed full power to ensure a win comes our way for consistency and of course the ranking..
Gud Adubelo Phiri haz ben included in the team. Surely how can you have the country’z main league top scorer missing in national team?Â
The warriors are a good team tuff to beat at home. We hav a good team definately Zim ia going down, I hop Allan & Justin play to provide the necessary ammunition to Adubelo & Ntofotofo. I predict a ka 2-0 sharp!
