The patriotic front secretary general Wynter Kabimba says that he is patiently waiting for the next cause of action the ECZ will take on the allegations of corruption against Universal Print Group.
Mr. Kabimba says that the ECZ should this time show Zambians that is it not comprised.
Mr. Kabimba in an interview says that the ECZ should come out in the open and deny the corruption allegations leveled against the company printing Zambia%u2019s ballot papers.
He says that failure by the ECZ to state its clear position on the corruption allegations will undermine the confidence Zambians will have on the poll day.
Mr. Kabimba has further observed that if such matters are not handled with the seriousness it deserves, it has the potential to bring civil strife.
The secretary general of the patriotic front has further stated that the party has revealed enough evidence and questions the silence on the party of the ECZ.
And Mr. Kabimba says that it is the MMD has lost political value in the political arena as was the case in the previous years.
Mr. Kabimba has described the MMD as fragmented in terms of being intact and membership.

No one is forcing these perennial losers to remain in the race for 2011 tripartite elections. The race has already attracted confident 17 parties. Out of the 10 running Presidents, the boycott of one would be insignificant. Kabimba, you go the 1996 UNIP way and Zambia will move on.

The position of ECZ is that printing of ballots is ending on 10th September, the ballots will be transported on the same day to Lusaka ECZ in the company of all well meaning zambians that went to witness the printing in SA. Ballot papers will be transported to polling centres on 19th September, and voting shall start at 06:00am ending at 18:00hrs counting shall start immediately at the polling stations, who shall deliver the ballots to district centres, its from these districts that we at ECZ shall get the Poll results , we expect to announce the winner of this years polls on 23rd September and inauguration shall takes place thereafter at the new NDOLA STADIUM. any thing more Mr Kabimba u want to know please dont hesitate to contact me …ECZ Director signed on 21/08/11
Clearly Winter and the PF have lost the plot; first, the unnecessary and frivolous court cases and now, attacking the credibility of the September 20 Elections at such a late stage. The only impression I get is that the PF are not ready for the Elections and, will cause mayhem if they lose again in 2011! Let us respect the will of the masses and if truly God has appointed the PF to lead this time, they will lead. If not, they should respect the will of the masses and wait for their God given opportunity to lead. Zambia is way bigger than the political clubs people choose to belong to, we need to focus on upholding the peace and security that we are well known for on the continent.
As an interested party (Zambian to the boot!), I would like to know what the allegations are, really. I want to know what it says in the docket , if any has been opened by ACC or PF – what are the exact charges of corruption? All I have heard so far is that there is alleged corruption, and there is an account at some bank. An ACC employee is being investigated. That is all. Can PF or the Post please lay out the allegations in plain for us ordinary Zambians to read thru and be well informed? I liked it when the ‘Matrix of Plunder’ was well laid out on the Chiluba case by the Post some years ago. Is that too much to ask?
why the last min attacks on ecz?The tender was in newspapers for a month and PF never asked questions.is winter working for mmd,coz he keeps trying to take silly matters to court.Best he should have done was to take down the numbers plates of the cars and then do a check at ratsa .it will show the ccc numbers and he can get copies of zra CE20 which shows duty paid. UPG won on merit and if PF has no faith in the said company,why did they send a rep to wittness printing?

Wynter Kabimba, if indeed you are a lawyer worth even a grain of salt, then you must know that ECZ conducts elections, the investigating authority is ACC, and DEC and the Police. Even if there was a grain of truth in your rantings, surely you do not expect ECZ to investigate itself, do you? Wynter, you are now confirming that one brain cell of ECZ Director Priscilla Isaacs is equal to your whole brain.

Zambia does not belong to MMD for them to hijack the election and then hoodwink the world to have been democratically elected.
Why is MMD not ready and willing to correct the ills that have been exposed with your UPG if you have nothing sinister and evil to hide?
MMD must show leadership. As citizens, we are not interested in quantity of candidates but the quality and credibility of the whole electoral process to move the country forward.
We already know that this a two horse race, (PF& MMD).
Whichever party wins, let them be elected freely and fairly and those that will lose let them accept the results believing that, that was the wish of the Zambian people. MMD must play by the rules, besides Zambia will still be there long after the MMD is gone

#19, That is a good start, at least now you are floating the possibility of a PF loss. It was unthinkable to hear that from guys like you barely two days ago. Back to serious business, you and PF can help the process of free and fair elections if you became more serious. If you have any information on UPG which you want to be investigated, report to the relevant authorities ACC, DEC etc. Calling a press conference by Lubinda to tell me and other members of the public what you and PF “suspect”, will not help you, we are not ACC. Ranting like that fool Mmembe before ACC Director Col Kayukwa will not help either, you have only 30 days now.
That fool Mmembe promised Mr Sata that his Post would deliver State House to him. Now Mmembe has to explain to Mr Sata why despite all his headlines, the Post campaign has yielded nothing, hence his desperate desire to take the battle to ACC himself in person Mmembe. The Post campaign tool, the Press Freedom Committee last week ended up just exposing Mr Sata. I have no doubt that Mr Sata now believes that his campaigns in 2006 without the aid of Mmembe were many times more robust than the mess of 2011. But of course we must consider Mr Sata’s strategy too, he should have learnt by now that deception and lies cannot be a long term strategy because people quickly learn and see through the lies.
#20, The only part of MMD that people are tired and afraid of is Mr Sata. People have rejected him for president both when he was in MMD, PACT, PF. In other words people don’t want him regardless of the colour of his chitenge, true blue or blue, true green or green, or yellow. Look here, it’s not the colour of his campaign chitenge that Zambians have rejected, it is the person himself, it is his character, his lies and deception, his lack of compassion, his lack of respect for the dead, his lack of the necessary traits required of the President of Zambia. Zambia has had four Presidents (including RB) and they know exactly what they want in their President, they know what they can tolerate too.
