Patriotic Front Leader Michael Sata has rubbished rumours that he collapsed while on his Western Province campaign trail saying he was aware that this was part of the scheme that the MMD has packaged to mislead voters as the country heads to presidential and general elections in the next 13 days.

Mr. Sata told a packed rally in Kaoma yesterday that this was mere propaganda hatched by the MMD who have created a team of State Security agents to mount a smear campaign to discredit him.

The PF is also in possession of information from highly placed OP contacts that the MMD has planned to unleash extensive publicity just before elections announcing that Mr. Sata has died.

    • The brain is a funny organ…it switches off the moment it senses potential damage especially when not enough blood is getting to it, (sudden emotion, change of altitude etc can cause it). Most people will not know what happened and continue what they were doing once circulation is restored to the brain – it operates like a circuit breaker in your house!
      If the king cobra experienced a real black out (with the background he has of smoking, heart attack, stressful times etc); this should not be taken for a joke. I sympathize with him!

But why argue with the likes of Mulongoti who could not make it to university in the first place and had to struggle to gain entry.Nay, arguing with Nsada…Or even Faza walya….Who sought refuge under the corridors of the Catholic Church from the prospects of being a street kid. The Post news paper’s belief in the power of the pen was at work at full throttle in 2008 and the guys at the news paper were sure of proping sata to State house.The mighty of the pen….But how many people read the post? Even in towns very few people see the paper. Imagine the extent of Zambia ! Can therefore the Post claim to be wielding any power to influence the decision of Zambians?………Tghis time and many others i know have stopped reading the paper…..And I hear the post is almost bunkrupt.

  123. Dont forget that RBish won because 600,000 young voters were disenfranchised by electral commission due to absence of continous voter registration. This time over 1 million young mostly unemployed have been registered most in CB, Lusaka, Northern. Watch this space ba fee. co.lor

I guess the statement that was written by a blogger a while ago is true…this blogger had mentioned that the mmd is planning to announce that Sata is dead a day before the elections and just seeing this story in the MMD controlled media actually leads to the same. Since they are trying to make people believe that Sata is ill what will stop them from confusing the voters a day before elections that Sata is dead? if really Sata is not an issue to the mmd why spend so much money to de-campaign him?

The problem with Zambians z that they support political parties as though it were soccer.I believe politics must be supported on principle.Whichever tribe u are the TRUTH z that Zambia has to be developed and it can only develop if we give SHORT mandates to these political parties in forming government coz then they will ensure they leave a legacy.How on earth can u give a political party more than 20 yrs to form Government and expect them to bring development? Zambians especially the youths,how many of u have the education you deserve?How many of u have jobs even after striving to get the little education that u have?     He is the man who spearheaded the Nakawala matchet Saga.
    SATA is the man who deposited govt funds in his personal account to earn personal interest on it.
    I know SATA, he is the man who said, and I quote,
    “Zambia has laws the recognise the rights of homosexuals and lesbians. All that is needed is to implement them” – end quote.
    SATA is the man who accused RB of stealing 9,000 votes from him in 2008 – and yet RB got only less than 4,000 (so unless SATA meant that RB got negatives and after adding 9,000 then the figure came to 3,700+).
    I know Sata, he is the man who built the flyover bridge and called himself, “man of action”.
    This is SATA’s brief political CV.

  133. # 106 I like your contribution, show us pictures of Sata colapsing or him being carried to an ambulance or in a hopital bed so that we can believe, otherwise it is just cheap propaganda, the highest form of desperation have ever seen. The more you try to discredit him the more you make him popular. George ‘RED LIPPED’ Kunda and VJ the old tired lion are the ones who are sick.
