Ex-Zambia coach Dario Bonetti has said he is happy with the sports minister Fackson Shamenda’s statement over the pending report on his dismissal.
Shamenda said in the Sunday press today that he was surprised Faz had confirmed Herve Renard as coach before the ministry could get to the bottom of why Bonetti was fired.
“I’m happy about what Mr Shamenda said. Now I hope to meet him (the minister) to present him my report,” Bonetti told LT sports on Sunday afternoon.
Bonetti meanwhile, has since turned to Fifa for compensation over his contract which said he was it was entitled to be extended should Zambia qualify for the 2012 Africa Cup tournament.

Not everyone can agree with Kalu’s decisions but he was elected into his position and did Zambia a great service. To imply the man is just a drop out is just plain disrespectful. Dario is this your first to be fired? Learn to accept to loose a job, just move on and get job in Malawi, RB can write you a good reference letter. It is impossible to be re-employed, you can’t rely on contract, even in marriage, court can’t change situation, divorce is divorce period.

This is not the first time neither will it be my last to say that, as a player Kalu perhaps was one of the greatest Zambia has ever produced, no doubt.But as for administration, he will go down in history as one of the worst since independence.
