Reynold Kampamba and Evans Kangwa will get a short to edge closer to winning a place in the 2012 Africa Cup team when Zambia face Angola on today.
Both Nkana players are part of the 20-man team that left for Angola on Saturday morning to play a friendly against the hosts in Dundo.
The duo have rocked Zambian football over the last three weeks with their free-scoring displays at both senior and junior level.
Kangwa and Kampamba have already scored for the senior team in India but experienced Angola will prove to be their biggest test to date of big game temperament.
Barring the burnout element after playing seven games in two weeks, the stage is set for the Nkana duo to see whether they can step a gear after playing modest senior matches against India and a Goa region select team.

Yes,Let Zambia beat Angola then we stand a chance to win the Afcon.
I’ll also be interested in the goal-keeping department, because Kennedy Mweene continues to worry me. Last night he literally threw away his team’s (Free State Stars) l1-0 lead to give Kaiser Chiefs a 2-1 win. Two long range shorts shocked him while he was basking in the glory of 1-0 lead showing excited all over the pitch. The first was a long range strike that left him stationary, and the second a replica of one careless goal he conceded at Angola 2010 AFCON – also from a considerable distance. HE SPOILT MY NIGHT I MUST SAY!
CORRECTION: “…showing EXCITEMENT all over the pitch…”
The team full of professionals from Congo! isnt this embarrassing!! And you want to win Africa cup!! dreamers.Â
These boys are too young don’t rush them into the senior team, alibe namavuzi!!! let them grow up, on kennedy mwene no doubt he is the best for Zambia at the moment.
