Winner’s Chapel congregants stage demo over Nigerian pastor’s work permit

Share

TEMPERS flared and confusion reigned yesterday at Winner’s Chapel in Lusaka’s Libala Township when placard-carrying congregants demonstrated against the Immigration Department’s refusal to renew the
work permit for Victor Femi Adenji, the church’s pastor in-charge.

The congregants, who accused some of the members of the church of being behind the development, demanded that the Immigration Department immediately renews the Nigerian pastor’s work permit.

Speaking on behalf of the congregants, Pastor Andrew Simbaya said there was no chaos in Winners Chapel as portrayed by some people in
the media.

Pastor Simbaya accused some former church leaders and disgruntled members of instigating the non-renewal of Pastor Adenji’s work permit.

“They wanted to be controlling the church and every man of God from Nigeria who has been sent here, they have complained about them. Even when we were given a Zambian pastor they started complaining to our head office in Nigeria until the pastor was transferred to Kenya,” he said.

He wondered why the same people had always been complaining against Pastors. “Every Pastor who refuses to be controlled by them and if he is of foreign origin, they are going to complain to the immigration by generating all manner of accusations.

“Coming to the fact that accountants have been hired and been fired I am privileged to have saved in FMC and I am a chartered accountant by profession.

“Some of these accountants who have gone to complain there have failed to account for church funds. And it was because our ‘father’ (Pastor) asked them that please account for the monies because I need to present a report to head office.

“That’s when they got agitated together with people whose tenure of office has ended and started bringing confusion,” he said amid shouts from congregants.

He has since appealed to the government to intervene in the matter so that Pastor Adenji could stay and continue to do God’s work in Zambia.

He said people were being healed of HIV/AIDS and other ailments as many were experiencing miracles because of the work of the pastor. Mr David Nangana, chairman of the Church Elder’s Council said that as a church they wanted the Pastor to stay.

He said the elders’ council was in full support of Pastor Adenji. Earlier, some congregants almost harassed one of the members identified as Rachael Chileshe for allegedly having gone to the media
to discredit the Pastor.

Ms Chileshe said she was being harassed whenever she went to Church over the matter concerning Pastor Adenji.

“When they saw me come out of the vehicle, they closed the gate just because I was on air where I rebuked the Pastor. That is what they said in the Daily Nation which was not correct and from that day I have been intimidated. I have the right to worship and associate. Each time I sit in church they will remove the person sitting next to me and put a security officer,” she said.

She said she was among the members who met the former Labour Minister, Simon Kachimba.

The Immigration Department said it refused to renew Pastor Adenji’s permit following reports of verbal abuse on Church members.

Immigration Department, Public Relations officer, Justin Siame, said the Department had received several complaints regarding Pastor Adenij’s conduct.

“We wish to put it on record that his application was rejected purely on a number of complaints received from his flock for having been using unpalatable language towards them and generally being abusive, including hiring and firing of accountants, a situation which almost resulted in a near-protest against his presence in Zambia.

“The Department tried to mitigate this by summoning him to the office and cautioned him for his uncalled for attitude but to no avail. The Department, therefore, is obliged as a matter of maintaining internal security to flush out anyone who endangers the peace of the country,” Mr Siame said.

Meanwhile, Information, Broadcasting and Tourism Minister, Given Lubinda, whom the church alleged was supposed to “grace the occasion” yesterday, said he had not received an invitation from Winners Chapel International.

“I was in the office on Saturday from about 09.00hrs to 16.00 hours and if there was such invitation I would have known. It is sad that some pastors are beginning the New Year on lies,” he said.

A pastor Thomas, who was receiving the media told the Times of Zambia crew that the Minister was expected to grace the occasion.

The Federal Government of Nigeria says it was using the appropriate diplomatic channels to avert a crisis to address Pastor Adenji’s issue.

According to a Nigerian newspaper, ‘This Day’, the Permanent Secretary of the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador, Martin Uhomoibhi, said the Nigerian government was already aware of the
matter and was taking advantage of the fact that a good relationship existed between the two nations to resolve the matter.

He was hopeful that Zambia would not do anything to jeopardise its relationship with Nigeria. “It is like business; there is always a risk in it. So, you take risks. We will normally not do anything that would hurt our diplomatic relations,” he said.

The permanent secretary was speaking at a press briefing in Abuja, Nigeria recently.

  1. That’s what you get with man-made fear based theologies. Iam sure this is all about who controls the “cashing”

  2. Good rddiance to these fakes, how many times do you want to be duped by these 9iga con artists

  3. ‘congregants should be the last people to demonstrate mwe bantu, anyway thats a common problm with tuntemba churches. By the way we dont want Booko Harama (whatever its called) in zambia, why cant they get a zambian to be collecting and counting tithe, instead of getting someone frm Nigeria? and what does the phrase ‘man of God’ mean? If there are ‘men of God’, common sense dictates that others should be ‘men of Satan’? – jst curious.

    • We should have a spirit of oneness because we are all sons and daughters of love. We have Zambian Pastors scattered all over the world and they are even collecting tithe in those countries. The spirit of segregation should not be tolerated, let us stay with our foreign brothers and sisters in peace because we are living in a global village.

  4. CAN THE RELEVANT AUTHORITIES GET TO THE ROOT CAUSE OF THIS CONFUSION ASAP? I DO NOT THINK FLUSHING THIS PASTOR OUT OF ZAMBIA WILL SOLVE ANYTHING; IF FACT IT WILL BREED MORE PROBLEMS. AFTERALL ITS BEEN STATED THAT THE HIRING AND FIRING OF ACCOUNTANTS (KEEPERS OF CHURCH MONEY) IS THE GENESIS OF THIS DRAMA.

  5. IM SURPRISED THAT EVEN THE CHURCH CAN DEMOSTRATE, CHRITIANS ARE SUPPOSE TO PRAY FOR THE SPIRITUAL ENTITIES THAT CAUSES CONFUSION IN CHURCH RATHER THAN PHYSICAL DEMOSTRATING. THIS SHOWS THE CHURCH IS OF VERY LITTLE FAITH. WHAT A SHAME.

  6. PLEASE THOSE YOUR ARE AGAINST OUR IMMIGRATION IS A DOG OR PIG, PLEASE LET GET DEPORT ALL THIS DOGS FAKE PASTORS TO NIGERIA, ALL THIS FAKE NIGERIANS CHURCHES OPERATES LIKE MAFFIA, ALL THE ARE CRIMINAL, PLEASE THOSE ZAMBIAN PROSITUTIES THEY HAVE TO LET THOSE THIEFS GOES BACK TO NIGERIA. IN NIGERIA EVERYONE TODAY IS A PASTOR…… ALL THE ARE CROOKS….THE ARE 911, DANGERIUOS FOOLS.

    • Mwamba, you are very stupid for calling Nigerians names. You here in Zambia, poor man like you. Do you know how many Zambian in Nigeria, Ghana and UK I know, who stays there without ducumentation. You are very very stupid. Those of you who have not cross the boarders are the ones who speak against the foreigners. If anyone don’t know their Job, they should be fired. Nigerians are not beggars they work hard. If that mouth of yours say any evil against Nigerians or foreigners again it will catch fire. Foolish man or woman. I don’t even know what you are called. Advice your immigration to respect foreigners and serve them not to insult them. No country will do without foreigners. By the way everyone is a foreigner. This earth is not yours. Very soon you will die and forget your identity.

  7. In my view, the pastor and the church council have no God given wisdom as leaders. How do they divide the flock in this way. Do they know that it took the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ to save some of these people who are now lost? seat down and resolve issues with your members please.

    • What was so special about the blood of Jesus? people have died for your freedom on the battle field, but Jesus died for a crown to rule for a thousand years. It was not for you but a selfish gain. Read and understand!

  8. It is clear to me that the citizens who form the congregation are weak minded and are immature. The claim that the deported pastor had been curing AIDS clearly indicate to me that the decision of the Immigration Department was correct and must not be reversed. We need to send more of our citizens to school so that they learn more about nature, arithmetic and reading. No one can cure AIDS to this day, and for the deported pastor to have hoodwinked our people clearly shows that we have too many dummies as citizens of Zambia!

  9. If the Immigration Dept have a case with this Pastor or anybody else for that matter, they should indeed kick out the culprit. Have you ever heard of a Zambian Pastor in Nigeria? Please ma Zambians, muleendako, travelling open’s ones eyes. Ever heard off the Bemba term; “Umwana ashenda?”

  10. Be very careful my fellow zambians Nigerians are bigest crooks God as ever made on earth they in the name of God check them out why should we even have Nigerian church in zambia and head office in Nigerian that’s be stupid can zambian stop allowing these crooks in our beloved country Teddy Machina

  11. zambians can do the job……why should you have an expartriate to read an english bible in this error   ……rubbish

  12. @16 George; Foreigners are needed to read the ‘English Bible’ to Zambians because people like George dont know the difference between Era and Error!

  13. If this guy has a job, then he deserves a work permit. Permits should not be given due to political influence. If the guy has been fired by the church and has no work, then he should not be given. In this case it seems that his rights are being abused by some people. Please be fair.

  14. Bishop David Oyedepo Net worth: $150 millionAffiliation: Living Faith World OutreachMinistry, also known as Winners Chapel Nigerian Christian author, Preacher and the founder and Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church World Wide also know as Winners Chapel and its affiliated International churches. He is Nigeria`s wealthiest preacher, owns four private jets and homes in London and the United States. He founded the Living Faith World Outreach Ministry in 1981, it`s now one of Africa`s largest congregations. The Faith Tabernacle, where he hosts three services every Sunday has a capacity of 50,000. Founder and owner of Covenant University, one of Nigeria`s top tertiary institutions and Faith Academy, an elite high school.

    • @22,Thanks for that information ,thank you for enlightening us . God Bless you. These Nigerian so called Churches and their pastors are just all out there to con  people out of their money.I have recently read a book authored and published  by a fellow Christian  and it is called THE TITHING DILEMMA AND THE TRIUMPHS OF LOVE .I have found it very helpful .The book explains in depth all about tithing, the origins of tithing and why it does not apply to the new covenant and the present day  Christians. The book is now available in Zambia. .Fellow Christians will do well to read this book and avoid being conned by the so called ‘ MEN OF GOD’

  15.  He also owns Dominion Publishing House, a publishing company that publishes all his books.
And you think you will not fight with them when they send a representative to collect money from the Zambian people?? Dont be naive guys, these guys are making too much money to just leave quietly. And you are the ones making them rich!

  16. Most of these so called pastors are just quacks. You can know them by the great emphasis they place on issues to do with money. Almost every sermon concludes in “giving to the lord”. Pastors usually have a lions share of “Gods money”. SHAME!!!!

  17. CAN SOMEONE CONFIRM TO ME, PLS. I HEAD THAT BOTSWANA HAS BANNED THE FORMATION OF ANY NEW CHURCH. THE BOT GOVT THINK THE MAIN STREAM CHURCHES ARE ENOUGH. HOW TUE IS THAT? IF THIS IS TRUE THATS ANOTHER SCORE BY A SERIOUS BOT GOVT. THESE PENTECOSTAL CHURCHES ARE JUST STEALING FROM THE POOR IN BROAD DAY LIGHT. IF THERE WASN’T A QUESTION OF TITHE (WHICH WAS PART OF THE MOSAIC LAWS AND NO NECESSARY WITH THE SENDING OF JESUS TO EARTH) PIPO WLDN’T HAVE BEEN GOING INTO THIS BUSINESS. ZAMBIANS ARE CRYING TO BE CONNED! SLEEPY!

  18. No. 5 you call one of the biggest pentecostal church in Zambia a kantemba church. Am a member of UCZ but attended the bible school at winners and must say its a true bible believing church and the pastor and Bishop Oyedepo are God sent. That is why the devil is not happy, in my church UCZ scandals have been there, even, so what more Winners Chapel. God will vindicate them.

  19. Most of you bloggers are ignorant about the happenings and what the Man of God has done, so don’t insult him, the bible says touch not mine anointed. Winners Chapel should ex communicate some of the these former leaders who are devils agents like Pastor Wisdom Gondwe, Deacon Karabassis and their front Racheal Chileshe. They want to bring the Body of Christ in to ridicule, which the cannot.

  20. Gambino, thank you. I am a Confirmed and Baptised Catholic yet I also attended the Winners Bible school, this is a true Bible believing Church. Pastor Victor will be vindicated.

  21. Also these claims on which immigration based their decision are being made by a corrupt section of the church. I’m sure they are not even a 10 in number yet for a church which sees attendance over 10000 every Sunday they took the claims of a small minority? I think immigration have been compromised by this corrupt minority. Lies from the pit of hell!

  22.  Churches like these infact deserve to be closed..check out the link below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwGkornIh1k This is what their senior pastor on nigerian does..

  23. SHAME ON all those Zambian Christian congregation in Libala Winners Chapel ganging up against just one poor christian lady who is trying to shade light and save fellow believers from being conned. This is a crime being committed against  the  poor  believing Christians.Leave her alone. Those who have noticed this and experienced it, why should they continue to stay in a church full of hatred? Which God are they worshiping ?Some of these  pastors are pure dictators and are evil. Actually they are Satan himself cos which pastor would enjoy inflicting emotoional, psychological and physical pain on a fellow Christian?

  24. @ Zodwa, you must be Racheal, she has been coming and no one has victimised her. On sunday she tried to frustrate people by shouting at congregates, but by the power of God people restrained from being confrontational.

  25. In Zambia we practice freedom of religion and freedom of association so if 10000 people want to congregate under the leadership of pastor Victor they should be able to do so. Anything else is undemocratic. As for that liar upon which the immigration have based their decision she has the freedom to congregate elsewhere but she doesn’t and why because like the devil knows that God is real and wants to destroy all believers she and the people who sent her have the sole mission of destroying Winners.

  26. @ Zodwa, you must be Racheal, she has been coming and no one has victimised her. On sunday she tried to frustrate people by shouting at congregates, but by the power of God people restrained from being confrontational. And this reporting is biased as there was no confusion, people worshipped in peace and after the service some had placards to show solidarity for the Pastor while Racheal was just asked to find another Church if she is not happy at Winners but she started out bursting to glorify the devil and show as if there is commotion.

  27. Do we need only Nigerian Pastors to run churches in Zambia. Appoint a Zambian, thats Gods work. We are all Men of God. All created by the Living God in heaven. Immigtation are right coz that possition can be run by any God fearing Zambian who has gone gor training to be a Pastor.

  28. @ Zodwa, you must be Racheal, you have been coming without victimisation. On sunday she tried to frustrate people by shouting at congregates, but by the power of God people restrained from being confrontational. And this reporting is biased as there was no confusion, people worshipped in peace and after the service some placards showing solidarity for the Pastor while Racheal sensing that she wasn’t attracting attention of the media she started out bursting to glorify the devil and show as if there is commotion. Her fellow rebels have even stopped coming to church.

  29. Botswana has stopped renewing permits of the mushrooming churches. If for example you are pentecostal and you want to for a church which will be affiliated to Pentecostal, they will not allow you but advise you to join the main Pentecostal church. This idea is good coz it reduces confusion amongst churches.

  30. My fellow bloggers please note that when one has faith in their belief and they believe in their faith nothing will change the way they perceive things. Remember Lenshina and her sect? The pastors duty in his church is to make sure that he gets his flock into believing with faith all his teachings. He has to make them believe that he was sent by God and uses this to threaten the flock. Look at most Pentecostal churches they have a majority of desperate women and girls looking for the promised miracle of husbands and prosperity. The few learned ones are there for positions. Oh my brothers and sisters please learn that as at now there are no better guiding principles than those which Jesus left but we the implimenters have and still are distorting plain facts to suit our selfish ends.

  31. There are a number of things wrong in that church. The language of the pastor is inappropriate, the mood of the people is bad, division is real and hatred is evident. What a church! The Zambian congregation, headed by a foreign conman, do not realise how much forex is going to provide jobs in Nigeria through this same loveless and spiritless church, while the poor givers in Zambia remain jobless and further impoverished. That heartless Pastor is a true Nigerian ambassador. His is no church, but a front for many other underhand activities. As a Zambian mature Christian, I would leave that church at the first sign an unchristian behaviour or activity of any form. Therefore, it is difficult to believe that a well-meaning Christian would continue in such a church. Zambians need to work up.

  32. Does the pastor work alone, if he has his assistants and the elders these can help resolve the problem, believers shouldnt go in the streets to demonstrate that is biblicaly wrong

  33. Thou shalt not bear false witness is from the Bible is it not? Its a shame that Christians are in the forefront making unfounded claims.

  34. There is a very nice book:THE TITHING DILEMMA AND THE TRIUMPHS OF LOVE at one Christian bookshop in Northmead in Lusaka and on line. This is a remarkable book for all to read and be freed from wrong teaching. It made me discover who I am in Christ Jesus rather than what i am in church. God recognises no church but know s only the believer. You will not put this book down once you start reading it. We need to know the word of God by reading it ourselves.

  35. @42, very correct, but no one went to the streets it was on the church premises.
@41, I wonder if you are a Christian, your language does seem to come from a believer, you need Jesus Christ.
This Church has been headed by Zambians before, and they are rotated eg, Tanzania is headed by a Zambian and another one within africa. God will vindicate the Church. MATHEW 5:10-12

  36. Fellow bloggers, these are end-times. If you are a christian worthy your salt, you should read the signs of the times.

  37. @lady, Theocracy is no democracy. The Bible says: “Let God be true and all me be false. Therefore, you do not need to be many in order to be right. One person can be right against many. At least that is how the prophets operated. One prophet stood to tell the multitudes or the whole nation their wrongs. We should not dismiss Racheal’s revelations just because she seems to be alone. She too may be vindicated when a proper account is conducted. Do not forget that you are dealing with Nigerians. She may smile one day.

  38. @YAZANDA
Don’t preach falsehood here, who told God doesn’t recognise Churches. Read 1 Thes 2:14 and several scriptures in the bible, don’t deceive people. We need to preach the word of God and bring salvation.

  39. @46, I am worried that people want to follow pastors rather than Christ. As a believer, I have never read from the scriptures that Christ’s church must be headed by man. Christ is the head of the church, which I know is biblical. This Pastor thing is part of the end time signs: (2Peter 2:1-2,9-21). Please read it. Who said that a church should be headed by a pastor, bishop, apostle or a man of any title? Where do we read or find such instructions? Yes @#47, a believer worth their salt must examine scriptures. This is where a book like the one I mentioned above may become handy. These are dangerous last Days indeed.

  40. We are now in the last days.By the way Bishop Oyebayo slaped a girl believed to be a wich it is on you tube. Prepare for the comming of the lord.

  41. The demonstrations by the Congregants must serve to illustrate the risk that the Pastor poses to the Zambian peace and public order. The Pastor and the Congregants re defiant of the lawful mandate of the Immigration Authorities to control the entry, stay and exit of persons,in particular of non Zambians, in the country. The Authorities generally do weigh and exercise their powers in the best interest of the Zambian citizen as against the non Zambians, unless in exceptional and justifiable circumstances.
A Pastor therefore,if a man of God, should abide by the dictates of the Zambian Law,unless he is otherwise.
May the Pastor fare well back to Nigeria!

  42. @Gambino, the reference you gave does not say much, but describes a local church and not a denominations. I still believe that you will never find a single church in heaven, serve the church of Christ His bride. The church of Christ consists of only individuals who believe in Him. If you are talking about local churches that is different, brother or sister, whichever the case may be.

But you havent challenged me on the question of pastors to head the church yet.

  43. @Gambino, No one tells me what to believe other than the Lord Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit who teaches me His word. Those who wait to be told or taught by the men they have selected to listen to risk the danger of being misled to believe the things which are not there. Read 2Peter 2:1 -21. There after I may give you more readings if you are willing brother. Much of falsehood comes from men (Pastors, bishops, apostles and the lot) and not from Christ’s word.

  44. Foolish Simbaya, how can he even say this Nigerian pastor heals HIV/AIDS.. is it a pastor who heals or God and where is the proof, The Nigerians pastors are just using these gullible pipo and they will now fight against one another. Let him just go back to where he came from.. So why cant they have a Zambian to lead this church. In SA their Bishop had to send his son to head the church coz he wants his own pipo  to handle the money.. People should wake up and read their bibles more, mwakulabepwa

  45. Zambia the christian nation my ass. This and many other happennings give impetus to the need to do away with the christian nation declaration made by a short thieving adulterous late asshole

  46. @Yazanda, off course Rachael is not alone in the winners (body of Christ) rebel group , she is with you, Pst Wisdom Gondwe, Karabasis among others, or not forgetting the mastemind Lucifer, the devil.

  47. Any self respecting christian will not entertain this wanker as a Pastor looking at what he did. Slapping a helpless girl after accusing her to be a devil is criminal. He should be charged for assaulting a minor! Wanker Pastor, you will go to hell!!!
Faithful blind followers, please watch the clip on this link and make up your mind!
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAj6TVj9t0Q

  48. If these disgruntled members wanted to save souls they are at liberty t start their own church but no their sinister agenda is to destroy winners chapel, the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob will vindicate this man. Also Xenophobia should not be encouraged especially in the body of Christ, Winners Chapel also has Zambian pastors leading the congregations in Namibia,Tanzania and previously in South Africa, should they also be deported in favour of Pastors of those nations nationality? Lets not use our personal prejudices to justify actions that have no basis in fact or supporting evidence.

  49. By Moses Kuwema on Monday 02 January 2012, 13:29:00 CAT

WINNERS’ Chapel International Zambia says it has submitted an appeal to the Ministry of Home Affairs for the renewal of its resident pastor Victor Adeniji’s work permit.

In a statement signed by Winners’ Chapel International Zambia board chairman Justin Mwelwa and local church council chairman Deacon Joshua Musenge, the church stated that they decided to submit the appeal to the ministry following the rejection of the application by the Immigration Department in December last year.

“We also wish to clarify that the church is not aware of any deportation order served on Pastor Adeniji,” read the statement.

  50. Immigration Permits re a tool or means to control non Zambians in their stay and activities in the country. Most permits once issued re periodically renewable at the discretion of the Authorities, if all conditions remain fulfilled as in the initial instance.
Pastor Victor is therefore amenable to the Zambian Immigration Law and just ought to desist being defiant or resistant to the lawful dictates.

  51. @61, I agree with you. Ala mwandi, Nichi  Nigerian Mafia.Blinded by the love of money .Get a job instead of stealing from poor Zambians who are genuinely hungering for pure  the Gospel and instead you tell them to Tithe ..Go and preach to the people Christ Crucified instead of miracles and prosperity.

  52. @The Gambino, I am not surprised to find that you have avoided my questions on the scriptures. People are supporting the pastor because they cannot do without him and yet the word of God is free for everyone to read and know. Zambian Pentecostal Christians, like The Gambino, need to learn to study the word of God on their own in order to avoid feeding on other peoples vomit if they are to grow up spiritually. Some of our forex-tagged pastors take more than they put in. Some of the flocks know no more beyond the baptism of John if you know what I mean. We need to know Christ more and worship Him for who He is rather than for what He will give materially or financially. Many of you ought to be teachers and yet you perpetually depend on others to teach you. When shall we become mature?

  53. “If the world hates you know that it hated me before it hated you” words of one Jesus the Christ  we are in the world but not of the world. The world and the spirit of the world has no part in Christ His Church and His purposes, it does not matter how loud they shout, how much they insult, they just do not have a part in Christ…. God defends His Holy name He does not need a government or a spokes person He is God all by Himself and His name is higher than any other name and His power is greater than any other power and what is best  the most High God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ shall stand and prevail….

  54. I am as Zambian as any of you yet for the sake of the Pastor I have been called a child of a dog. God bless you who goes by the username Imbwa, and same to you Zodwa.

  55. surprise surprise,Christians trading insults openly in the media. It must be more in the secrets.
You shall know them by their fruits.Don’t insult the man of God.Talk the solution not insults please

  56. There is certainly a lot more hidden problems with this pastor than meets an eye. Do not give him another chance. Let him go back at once. How can such a thing come up with him?

  57. @Man of God, very few of the bloggers contributing are Christians. And the bible says not everyone who says Lord, Lord shall enter of Kingdom of God, Mathew 7:21

  58. @Yazanda,
I worship God and follow Jesus Christ, not the Pastor. I depend and rely on the word of God, which is the teaching of Winners Chapel, were I just attended bible school. The Pastor is simply a shepard of the flock. Read Ephesians Chapter 4, especially verse 11-12, but be courteous of verse 14.
The church (House of God) is the Body of Christ, and there should be a shepard in form of Bishops, Pastors, apostles. Also read Jeremiah 3:15. God is a God of order, no wonder further instructions are given in 1 Timothy 3:1-16. So my brother if I may ask do you belong to any church?

    • I agree with Gambino, i have been a member of Winners Chapel since inception and i have seen members of the church become cadres instead of children of God, where the doings of God are being attributed to Man and less to God. My fellow winners Congregants, let God decide the matter and lets not condone this nonsense of protests, fighting in the media and so on as it is tarnishing Gods name. We need to learn and hide the word of God in our hearts and not be completely be dependent on Man. God knows what is done in the Dark, and he shall surely prevail on this matter. I know Rachael personally and i believe she is not the devil being portrayed here, she is just a woman who is not blinded by spiritual lies and is not afraid to speak out.

  59. THIS IS VERY CONCERNING:THAT WE CAN DARE GIVE SUCH COMMENTS/INSULTS OVER SUCH A MATTER.IF WE OURSELVES ARE PERFECT HOW CAN ONE DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN THIS PASTOR AND US? FELLOW ZAMBIANS,WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM,THE SOONER WE SEE THIS THE BETTER FOR US AS A NATION.LETS REFRAIN FROM INSULTS AND ADDRESS ISSUES, IF WE NEED TO, IN A CIVILIZED MANNER,INSULTS THROUGH HIDDEN IDENTITY IS DEFINITELY UNWISE AND DESTROYS INSTEAD OF BUILDING.

  60. Pastor Victor Adenji does not use abusive language! its clear this is from a minor group that does not like him.. Fear the lord and do not persecute his servants cause when he vindicates his servant the evil ones run.

    • That is why my view is that we should leave this matter to God to determine as he is the God who sees what is done in the dark. Our duty my bro is to let the will of God prevail and not man’s.

  61. Ask karabais and Gondwe who are behind all this confusion at the church. muntu asakankale advocate wa satana. Karabasis stole a lot of money from the church and he was removed from the board becasue he had a child outside marriage. Ni mambala uyu mudala. They shall all be exposed and put to shame.

  62. Attractive part of content. I just stumbled upon your site and in accession capital to assert that I get in fact enjoyed account your blog posts. Any way I’ll be subscribing on your feeds and even I fulfillment you get right of entry to persistently quickly.

  63. There was a Judas among Jesus disciples, that didn’t make Jesus a bad master or ‘pastor’. There are obviously judas among d accountants and assisting pastors, Bishop Oyedepo is a true man of God so keep ur tongues away from him. And no pastor is perfect, if Pastor Victor made some mistakes, it can’t be fixed without no immigration-paid interference.

  64. I do believe all of the ideas you have introduced on your post. They’re really convincing and will certainly work. Still, the posts are very brief for newbies. May you please lengthen them a little from next time? Thank you for the post.
