The Zambia Voluntary Soccer Fans Association (ZAVOSOFA) has condemned Chipolopolo boys coach Herve Renard for banning national team midfielder Clifford Mulenga to play for Zambia. ZAVOSOFA Patron Peter Makembo said the decision by Renard was very unfair saying there proper channels for any coach to discipline his players.
ZANIS sports report Makembo saying this in an interview in Lusaka , yesterday. He said that Renard’s decision should be condemned by all soccer loving Zambians across the nation. He pointed out that what Renard needs to understand was that Mulenga has contributed to the country’s national football growth.
Makembo added that the Chipolopolo boys still need the services of Mulenga even when Renard was still trainer of Zambia. Zambia coach Herve Renard declared winger Clifford Mulenga will never play for Chipolopolo as long as he remains in charge of the 2012 African champions.
Mulenga was sent back from the Nations Cup just 24 hours after Zambia beat Equatorial Guinea 1-0 on January 29 to finish top of Group A to see both teams reach the quarterfinals of the tournament.
And FAZ Communication Manager, Erick Mwanza has disclosed that the FAZ executive committee will soon sit to look at cries from soccer fans to include South Africa based player, Clifford Mulenga into the team.
Renard recently vowed that as long as he remains coach of the now African champions, he will never accept to coach the South African based mid-fielder.
But the FAZ Spokesperson said the Executive Committee will look at the appeals various soccer fans have made for FAZ and Coach Renard to allow the midfielder play for the national team again.
Mwanza however stated that FAZ defends the decision taken by team coach to expel the player who was found misbehaving.
“FAZ backs Renard 100 percent for taking such a strong stance on the player. ” he said.
He explained that FAZ wants to instill discipline in the team and will not allow anyone to disturb the team.He said that discipline is important for a team especially for the new African champions.
He warned that FAZ and coaches will not compromise on discipline adding that no one single player in the team is indispensable.
Mwanza charged that Clifford who was found wanting with other players did not apologize to the coach although his colleagues asked for forgives and were taking back in the team.
He added that while Clifford may be called to the team the coach will have the final decision on who he may decide to call and use in any particular game.
Meanwhile, FAZ says it will start a countrywide tour of the Africa cup trophy starting on Saturday. And the decision has heartily been hailed by the soccer fraternity with Zambia Volunteer Soccer Fans Association (ZAVOSOFA ) saying the move is more than welcome.
Mr Mwanza disclosing the development at a media briefing yesterday. Mr Mwanza said FAZ is working with the Ministry of Sports, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tourism and the Ministry of
Information in the programme. He stated that the trophy will start with Livingstone the Tourist capital and will go in all the ten provinces.
In response, ZAVOSOFA patron Peter Makembo noted that the move was more than welcome because Zambia is not Lusaka but the entire ten provinces. He said since it is the cry of most Zambians to see the trophy with their naked eyes, the move by FAZ was commendable adding that the move has satisfied soccer fan’s demand.
” FAZ has heed to the calls from soccer fans to make the trophy to go around the country. For this I commend the footballing Association, ” he said.

The gold trophy will go missing in Zambia ati sample
Zambian Football z slowly changn, i shud thnk so..coz No way a National team coach thnks has authority in controlling the countrys soccer mother body,,and by the way, am dsapointd wth fans praisn Renard for takn the Trophy, I personaly raise my big thumbs to Dario who gromd playaz..Renard cimo nomukashi pabondi, atampa ubuule then decids to stop and coms back, quite okay sum ppo may welcom her, azaz wth conditions..this Quack has com to Ruin our soccer playas unite..to Hell
ka coach zambians forgave you when you abandoned us what about you….? dont get personal with these young zambian players. they need to be helped and counselled like a parent does to his children. may be the boy took your gal friends…tell us. anyway the move by FAZ to bring the cup to the provinces is welcome. hope in ndola it will be in the new stadium….?
Please, Lets not be so ignorant of what is happening at our FAZ. What this coach should know is that he is not bigger than Zambia just as he said on Jonas Sakuwaha. He can not ban the player no matter what, all what he can do is to dicpline the player. We need Clifford more that we need you Renard. Even before you come in this country, your Boss was not in good terms with the player, therefore to say that this is your decision its not true. All in all, just bring the boy back, we need him more than we need you Renad. This is his country and he need to contribute in all the sectors of activities and not like you . This will even follow your boss, cause there is no way you can be even be paying the person who has not kicked the ball ( William ). We are watching you guys.
The kachapu is indiscipline, Renard thank you for banning him for life until you are gone after 3 years. If the Zambians give problems come to SENEGAL WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU.WE CAN PAY YOU 5 TIMES YOUR KA PAY IN ZAMBIA.
I support HR on his stance. If Clifford wants to play, he needs to make peace with the coach himself and not use political pressure. You can not tell the coach how to make the team without firing him. It is his job. Your job is to support. Thats how it works
What has happened to Tevez will happen to Clifford. It’s Clifford who will lose out not the coach;I
Forgive 70 x 70 times, we are a christians nation. If most of you were not forgive at one moment in life you could have not been where you are today.
Clifford should apologize to the coach, FAZ Officials and the fans. If Tevez can do it , who is Clifford. Makembo , keep your mouth shut. Do not incite fans to rebel against the coach or FAZ?
If a player had bad influence on others, he deserves to be axed. If Clifford is a pool of indiscipline, he must be shown the door. Playing to win must demand discipline at all levels in our soccer squad. Leave the coach a lone, let him have a free hand in dealing with wayward players. Just because most of you get away with stealing from public office does not mean that players can do the same in soccer. If you sow indiscipline, you will reap grief.
ba pastor even man city coach banned Teverze for bad behavior just like mulenga let mulenga applogise officialy not on face book,
You can not force the coach to forgive Clifford Mulenga. Clifford should find ways and means to make peace with the coach. On the pitch the coach makes decisions and outside the pitch people beat about the air. Overall reconcialtion is superior no matter what.
The problem is with clifford not the coach.if people follow football verywell clifford used to be a good player than kalaba but because of his indispline his perfomance has gone down.i watch clifford at his club and his perfomance is not impresive.he is always substituted or comes in as a substitute.this just like emmanuel zulu’s case.let us help him to change rather than condeming renard.
Carlos Tevez has been allowed back at City, what so wrong with Clifford?i think the issue is beyond football,it should be something to do with women.Who told HR that the national team is his personal project?
he’s being foolish, Manchini has forgiven Carlos Teves. mutima wa chibanda!!!!!!
Leave the coach alone, this Kaboy has taken his Girl for A DRINKUP that day. Dont play with Bosses chocolate.
CLIFFORD IS AS FOOLISH AS SOME OF YOU GUYS ON THIS BLOG WHO ARE TALKING RUBBISH ABOUT OUR BELOVED COACH LEAVE HRVE ALONE TO DO THE JOB DID YOU EVER DREAMED OF WINNNG THIS CUP MULETASHA BAKOLWE.
Cracked my ribs! Ati ba Kolwe!
Atase, iwe, even if he was not him as coach, this was our time??? it was written. Why underlet Zambia, the point is let him learn to forgive. The boy is a good player he made a mistake and has been punished. So what?? Ukutumpa you fool. Support your own brothers?? Kamuzungu anikonde??
From Chris’s explanation last night it seems Clifford did not want to apologize instead he walked out of the team as though he was un touchable. All i can say is its up to Clifford himself to make peace or his pride will take him down.
The problem with us black people is that we always want to compromise on everything. Zambia is big than Renard yes but the coach doesn’t want to compromise on discipline. In order to be be successful, Discipline is a virtue. Clifford is a small element in this country,he should not be the one to command. the coach has been employed to manage the chipolopolo and let him do his Job according to the right standards.
Zambians learn to appreciate this man. this coach is God sent and he has motivated the players,he is instilling discipline and bringing in results.
That above mentioned organization is just seeking attention and their views do not represent the views of some of us who are realistic in life. dont just remove words from your mouth just to be heard on radio or seen on TV.
This minion bafoon makembo who dou think u are pastor chitombetombe. the ***** Mulenga was suppose to take the first step. is the one who violeted the camp rules and the coach. Yes he can forgive him and make sure that he does not call him for any game
Watching Eric on ZNBC TV last night, spoke volumez of the malaize that iz obtaining at Football House.
This culture of wasting money through Provincial Tours of anything must stop. We saw Mwanawasa’s body and that did not add value to our life. Even if we see this cup will not help in any way. Please conserve the little money with something meaningful. by the way, why stop the Gabon match? we should not grow big headed. We are still a very very small team.
HR said Clifford is a divisive figure in the national team. Obviously if were Herve Renard I also wouldn’t wish to have such person within my charges. Refusal to apologize also tells volumes about the player. It would seem as if the team needs Clifford more than he does the team. But football is about the team. We know of several wayward players who have ended up sorry.
correct! clifford walked out and we still won! I feel for him mwandi. If only he had apologised, he would have been part of the winning team! discipline is key bane. he needs to know that he plays in a TEAM not alone! I’m with HR, Captain, team & FAZ uyo loner is welcome back and the only ticket he needs is ‘sorry coach’. He needs to learn to do that. Meanwhile bushe aziba kukamba ‘thank you’, ‘may I’, ‘please’, ‘you’re welcome or pleasure is mine’ na ‘excuse me’. Muboyi avuta….
I really dont understand why some people want to tolerate nonsense.. look how chipolopolo performed without this big headed mulenga. he must have thought Zambia wouldnt go this far without him but lo and behold you are not indispensable ka mulenga, you dont even deserve to accompany the trophy as they take it round the country coz you didnt think it was important to stay and work hard for it. you put your anger and ego before the most important goal..did you go there for pleasure or for work? i believe HR knows exactly what he is doing, i would rather keep Renard and let this big headed mulenga go..ka le leta fye ichi fulunganyo!!!
****@Northerner
I think this person is talking sense. you dont waste money like that.its even better to use such resources to develop other sports facilities in most strategic places in the country. Its not everyone who saw the cup live, most of us watched it on TV and what matters is that we won.its unnecessary to start those tours. some people have seen this move as a way to milk the government. there is something sinister behind such moves and those pushing for it are guilty. dont waste money like that.after all not everyone in those ten provinces will see the cup
Clifford is replaceable and must be desciplined. Let him apologise to the coach and to all Zambians. Leave the coach alone, he is doing a good job by instiling discipline in the team. Am sure this sends a strong signal to the entire team. Good move Renard…go ahead and discipline many so that we get many cups including world cup.
ALL THAT MATTERS IS WE ARE CHAMPIONS OF AFRICA EVERTYHING TAKES A BACK SEAT!!!
Northerner #19 if you dont want to see the cup stay home in the blankets.
Where you supporting Zambia during AFCON2012? If yes why were you supporing it? That money will go to the feeling stations, drivers will be paid, guest houses/motels will benefit – we call that a part of job creation. Remember that the money is coming from govt back to the pipo.
The coach is the coach!!!
He makes the decisions. Thats what he is paid to do!!!
How can you chose and indisplined player over a coach who has brought you the Africa Cup for the first time EVER!!!
Clifford was a bad influence and needed to be made as an example. If the coach had done nothing about it then maybe we would have had our boys so drunk after winning the semi finals and would probably have lost the final game. The boys new the RULES before they departed Zambia and to break them and not apologize at the time was mulengas fault! He cannot blame anyone else but himself because he now stands to lose big time!!! In HR we trust!!!
Iwe ka Makembo, you want to start telling the coach who to call up? You know very well that clifford has had this problem even before HR showed up. Viva HR! Viva Zambia. Clifford is NOT bigger than Zambia.
Nonetheless, Clifford should be given his gold medal. You may not give him the bonuses BUT it will be injustice to deny him ka AFCON gold medal. Period.
clifford is a moron, lets not defend indiscipline. great kau never ever caused such problems, most of the old guard were very disciplined. Alot of our new breed dont have the self-restraint and until the coach takes a firm stance, people will never take him seriously. there is no way he would have sent 4-5 players home, there would have been riots. best thing he did is to set an example. Clifford should have known better. No one individual is better than the rest of the team. Thats why zambia are champs and the drogbas and others bit the dust! there is no I in TEAM. so the ban stands!!!!!! I have never been a great fan of Herve but today i’ll wear my white shirt and jeans in his support. Mbesuma beware!!!!!!
oops, great kalu..
The coach is right on this stance. Zambia is much bigger than the has been mulenga. The boy can’t change our team’s fortunes in anyway. We have far much better and disciplined young players who have enough hunger for success. That pastor should go back to preaching and must realise that instilling discipline in the team is key. Is this makembo saying that players must be revolting in camp and not show any contrition? Please stop this nonsense and show some responsibility. Long live Herve Renard and long live Great Kalu. All haters can hang.
You see this is where we go wrong. Allowing or condoning nonsense for the benefit of certain individuals. People need to learn that there are consequences for the actions we take. If this stern action is not upheld somebody else will do the same and expect to get away with it. In ALL walks of life in Zambia this is how we must operate. It is the only way we will uphold our respect and dignity as a Nation.. Politicians do wrong, we slap them on the wrist, and before long they are back in another leadership portfolio. Nonsense. Renard, stick to your decision. If external forces try and overturn this, RESIGN!!!!!
THE BOYS WON THE CUP WITHOUT THIS SO CALLED CLIFFORD, MEANING HE IS NOT A FACTOR. LEAVE OUR COACH ALONE HE HAS DONE ZAMBIA PROUD WITH THE WELL DISCIPINED PLAYERS. LET CLIFFORD CONTIUE WITH HIS DRINK AND PARTING . THE BOYS WILL MOVE ON WITHOUT HIM. VIVA HERVE RENARD MOST OF US ARE BEHIND YOU.
Why always Clifford? why not mayuka? why not Sunzu? the boy must understand that to be a success you need to have discipline. HR has a responsibility to ensure there is order in camp, Zambians must give this man a chance to bring more silver wear to the country, he is by far the most successful coach that has coached the zambia national soccer team.
there we go. we have already started trying controlling the coach and telling him how he should be doing his job. its his job and not yours so just shut up and seat down
Wise counsel @ Jefferson.
The problem with us, especially Zambians is compromising on anything. Discpline is very important in soccer and no matter how good the players are, once the coach has no authority over them, their performance will eventually go down. An example is Real Madrid, all Mourinho has done is manage the same (most) players the previous coach left and you can see the results.
The comparison people are making with Tevez is a good one but only wrongly quoted. Mancini did exactly what HR has done. Tevez has had to apologise and that is how he has been considered back. Clifford needs to do the same. Coaches nowadays are more of managers rather than people just offering technical guidance. They have to manage players’ behaviour also because it affects performance.
Isn’t this the same Clifford Mulenga who had vowed not to play for Zambia? Leave HR alone, would all this fuss have arisen if Zambia had lost? Come people be serious, in life there are consenquences and Clifford has to face his for his indiscipline. Clifford arrogance will be your down fall mwaiche, swallow your pride and show humility. FAZ should take leadership in this case and advise.
“ZAVOSOFA Patron Peter Makembo said the decision by Renard was very unfair saying there proper channels for any coach to discipline his players”
and Renard has taken his channel its just like the Teverz saga… why wont he apologies when his friends did ??? a manager needs that authority in the dressing room thats how you get players to buy into your way of playing in the team
WAT MOST OF U GUYS WHO ARE BUSY SAYING BAD THINGS ABOUT HR SHOULD KNOW IS THATCLIFFORD IS ABOVE ANY OF HIS TEAM HENCE HE NEEDS TO BE DISCIPLINED.EVEN IN A HOME A FATHER WILL ALWAYS DISCIPLINE HIS CHILDREN,BELIEVE U ME,IT DOES NOT PAY TO BE BIG HEADED WHEN U ARE WRONG THE U ARE WRONG,AND THIS CLIFFORD OF GUY DONT WANT TO APOLOGIES TO THE COACH,THE TEAM AND THE ZAMBIAN PIPO AT LARGE,THEN LET HIM BE.
BUT HE SHOULD KNOW THAT WE HAVE BETTER PLAYER THEN HIM AND WE WILL STILL MAKE IT BIG TIME WITHOUT HIM.
why talking on Clifford Mulenga the chap is foolish it seems it was not the first time to go out .there where told to go out because there is match fixing but himself went out without saying sorry to the HR
Everyone condemning Renard on the Clifford issue please just F.uck Off including this Peter Makembo. You want to start defending inefficiency just because you are black Zambians ut without an issue? Makandi Yenu. Mbesuma and cre apologized and were brought back to the fold. Who the f.uck is Clifford to be arrogant? And who are you? Indiscipline is what has made us fail to progress in many areas. I say punish the chap until he learns to apologize for his wrong doing. e can do without him. Infact, we won the cup without him!!!
Football is about team work. We all saw how the team spirit and family feeling prevailed during the games. Ego and arrogance kills the family spirit and the whole team suffers, then when we start losing you are the same chaps who will again be looking for someones blood. Do some THINKING for once!!!
The problem with these footballers they become big headed when they become famous and want to become drunkards, sleep around and misbehave. These more to achieve out there than just the African cup bafana. Be wise and stay disciplined
It is gratifying to see how people are clear on the need for discipline. HR is right on this one, no 2 ways about it.
The coach is right in instilling discipline within the team. And I am inclined to think it is one of the reasons our team won the trophy because they were disciplined on and off the pitch. Eurosport commentators even acknowledged this. However, I am one person who likes looking at issues objectively. There hasn’t been an official statement as yet from FAZ about Mulenga’s dismissal and we need that issued as soon as possible. If Mulenga is showing remorse, let him be given a second chance. If he blows it again, then he will be toxic to the team and he will deserve to be where he is now. REMORSE and FORGIVENESS are key here!
You have to be dull to believe that Clifford fails to apologize. It’s common sense that there’s something between HR and the boy which HR has just failed to forget. We also know that HR’s Boss doesn’t like Clifford. Guys let’s apply some common sense before we label the boy indiscipline. Clifford went in the company of two FAZ officials and 3 other players, why was he singled out? This is not right and Ia m sure that even HR and his Boss know this unfair move.
Which part of ‘Clifford refused to apologize’ don’t you understand? :-?The two FAZ officials and 3 other players apologized. Use your common sense and answer your own question -‘”hy was he singled out?”. :-?
The days of untouchable star players is gone.Teamwork and discipline is what determines progress now. I refuse to have my tax spent on an in-disciplined fool.
Discipline is vital and there is no one on earth who is indispensible. By refusing to apologise Mulenga thinks the team cannot do without him. It’s pride and arrogance.
If Clifford Mulenga remained in teh camp, Zambia may not have won the cup.
Well done HR, Discipline is cardinal. Thats why most West African footballers succed in Europe, manly because most West African sportsmen do not drink unlike Southeners. One may say maybe its cultural or religious effect. People forget that to be champions you need many factors. HR sees things objectively, and is best suited to coach this talented Zambian team. Put a local coach there, he will be playing names. Skill in not enough to be Champions, you need also tactics and discipline. Its high time players valued the responsibility of wearing the Zambian shirt! Its not for drunkards! Its either your in or out and not in-between. The chap must forget abt. wearing the Zed shirt again as he is a bad example and role model for young Zambians looking up to play for Zambia. Epompelele
Imagine if Ivory Coast was as disciplined and committed to the cause as Zambia was. They would have won it.
Please dont support Cliffors Mulenga blindly. He may be the most talented player you have but that does not make him a winner of tournaments. Look at Drogba, Asamoah Gyan, Adebayo, Eto etc. All these are talented guys but they dont win anything for their countries. In fact some of them cause more problems than peace to their national teams. What do you want, trophies or supper stars that win you nothing. We should rather have a disciplined team that wins cups than idols who are good for nothing. Ask Nigeria, Ghana, senegal, Cameroon.
Barcelona sold Samuel Eto because of his bad influence on the team.
Abengi apa tamwakwata amano kuti mulesapota ifyabula amano Clifford afwile abwela but elefwaikwa ukuchita apologize not even once and pa social net work.He should humble himself like notorious TEVEZ becoz no player is bigger than a club and a country.
Zambians we forget very quickly. This pastor Matembo never welcomed the coming back of HR and now that HR has achieved something we didn’t expect and Pastor is ashamed wants to bring confussion and interfer with our celebrations as CAF champions. Becareful with this pastor who has been fighting Faz IN the past few years. Pls don’t bring confussion we have important matches in few months time.Clifford Mulenga can be forgiven but that does not guarentee him a place in national team. Indescipline should never be tolerated.Let him apologise to the coach and Zambian people.when he came back he had the audacity to say that he didn’t know he had to apologise which means that he didn’t acknowledge his mistake and I concluded that he is a bad seed. I support the coach more than100% for his acti
@faz problems….You re a problem together with Clifford. Hw can you say “there’s something between HR and the boy”? Hw do you knw that HR’s Boss doesn’t like Clifford? It seems you have problems in your head. You must understand that “Bosses are Bosses”. You dont expect a senior to plead a junior in order 4 the junior to be 4given. In bemba we say ukupoka icinsenda ku nkoko kunakilila. Mwikusha umwaice umutwe!
Yes Clifford Mulenga is proud, indiscipline, arrogant etc.Should not be allowed back untill after the world cup.If he remained in the team Zambia could not have won because of hangover from drinking and God could not have been on our side. Let this be a lesson to other players who are indisciplined. We need our couch to give his best to Zambia without interference from ungrateful people.
Unity and discipline is what made us win the cup. Any player who breaks the rules should be disciplined and Chipolopolo camp wasn’t animal farm where some animals are more equal than others. Some of you supporting this guy have no clue what you are talking about, inside information says the guy has the habit of sneaking out of camp and he doesn’t apologise. Any fool can do stupid things but it takes enormous amounts of discipline to stick to the right thing and to be focused and that’s what differentiates successful people from failures. We have won this cup and we think we have got it all made. We need to move on by being focused and disciplined sticking to workable guidelines and win more trophies. Our goal should be to get more disciplined players and win more tournaments.
I dont why you all are making a fuss ’bout this boy Clifford. His time is up and will never make the national team again….even if Zambia changes coaches. There’s a lot of hungry young lads out there raring to go especially after the Afcon inspiration.
Makembo is a bad leader, it is the player who is supposed to apologize and not the coach. If HR apologizes to Clifford do you think Clifford will ever take the coach’s instructions? Why is the player like Tevezi not apologizing. We all know Makembo was even on radio opposinsng the apointment of HR, you can never argue with results they are there for all to see,HR is a good coach.Viva HR,Viva Kalu for technincle apointment, Viva chipolopolo boys! World cup next!!!
#41 You are absolutely right.#3 you are very very wrong.
Pride comes before the fall. He must be wishing he apologised and stayed on to be part of the BIG celebrations. Let the coach do his job, which sometimes involves dishing out disciplinary muti like he’s doing.
Remember Chelsea football club? Not allowing the coach to get on with his job has been a major stumbling block to their success.
Clifford is indiscipline.Whoever is supporting clifford doesn’t know the player.Ask Christopher Katongo would tell u.We don’t want indiscipline in football.I support Rena on this one.Makembo is crazy. The boy insulted the coach. If Makembo insists and some indiscipline Zambians then Faz will reveal what happened in the camp.It seems Zambia love indiscipline.Clifford should learn to respect the coach.
Oh please, Renard’s decision is final. We don’t need pointless association fimofimo. This coach has won us the cup for the first time. Association whatever can come with Clifford only after Renard has finished his job!
Listen fellow Zambians,
HR has nothing to lose, while we do if you insist on controlling the national team from the terraces.
If you know better, apply to FAZ for HR’s job and take on the task.
PaZed kukambakamba bati!
Well, well, well, I love this. Clifford you are history. Period!
Mr. Makembo is a bad influence on the players. No wonder he was chased in Gabon when he wanted to ingratiate himself to the team. He lacks discipline and that is why there is nothing to write home about him. The weight is on Clifford to show remorse ans ask to be forgiven and given a second chance. How does HR forgive him when he hasn’t shown remorse? Kalu was disciplined and you cannot compare him to this boy. Kalu never turned down any call ups to the national team even in the face of adversity(Gabon disaster) not even the current captain. Some people need to be black listed from the media they have become empty gongs. Discipline should not be compromised because some people speak loudest. The boy even called HR a Liar! When he gave his side of the story. HR and Kalu must be left alone
The people have spoken and the verdict is unanimous! Please let us stop this debate.
For every success, discipline is the measure.
The jury is well agreed on this one, Clifford guilty. NEXT PLEASE!!
#67 & 69;
I like that!
Makembo,u are a fool.Let the coach do what’s possible for him.U are not the coach,Mulenga is stupid like u,why did he fail to apologize? He is stabon like uMakembo.
Any institution has rules and regulations which one needs to adhere. So Mr Mulenga does not want to comply.
VIVA DISCIPLINE, VIVA RENARD, VIVA CHIPOPLOPLO BOYS,VIVA ZAMBIA, Kalekeni ka Mulenga kabe, the cup is here and may continue to be if discipline is upheld in the team.
Abamano basosa elo ichibemba chitila”ukulinganya ama puli kulaponwensha” something like that and the final verdict had been passed, next.
#2, makembo and the others you are all fools and I really don’t know how you are running your homes if at all you have any.
Harve knows what he is doing and if at all you heard from the captain, Chris himself the boys want him. Clifford was foolish not to have apologized, all we wanted was disciplined team OK. Hope you know what I mean
The coach was right to bar him it is a lesson to all there should be displine to these boys.
Good job coach. Keep it up. He was abig headed, teach him a lesson.
During the last game with Ivory Coast, we saw the IC players fighting each other on the pitch. Zambian players were praying and cooperating. That speaks for itself. I have nothing more to say on this matter.
Iwe bogus Pastor Makembo shut your big mouth.A patron for non existing organisations .Football is like gospel news, you Pastors are busy committing sin and you are forgiven from time to time, and you think football is like that. What contribution did that player with no manners make towards the achievement the other players got.If the coach doesn’t need him let him play in S.Africa.Herve Renard you forgive the stupid boy but never call him to the national team.
Iwe ChiMakembo you are danger in that useless organisation if you tolerate indiscpline them call Clifford to join your useless organisation.
yes yes we all know what happened to clifford mulenga, the fact that he contributed to the country’s national football growth does not qualify him to misbehave, even if he were to score 6-10 goals in the team still it does not gaurantee him to be indiscpline.so the coach was right coz if he had not taken that stance other players would have also fallen into the same pit,so clifford just needs to come and apologise to the coach and FAZ at large.
Let be honest I feel we have not been told the truth nor wonder this issue has generated a lot of interest. First and foremost some FAZ officialls were part of the group that went out and I find it is hard to believe that Clifford can have that type of influence even on FAZ Officialls who happen to be delegation leaders. However, if he happens to possess that kind of influence then the chap is bad news. Anyway in this situation I expected the buck to start and end up with FAZ Official because nxt time it will be Great Kalu in the company of some players which may include Mbesuma going for a drink and we may end up banning Mbesuma!!
Renard is write in a way but his stance is just too strong for the young man. Contrall was important but not to this extreme. Clifford has been purnished enough not to be part of the winning team. But Renard should not forget that Zambian forgave him for abandoning them and not indiscpline. Him let Zambia down without finishing his last two months of the contract. Clifford did not abandon the team but was just overexcited whih is normal among young people. In south Africa we could have won the cup but the same problem occured and the players lost. Renard find a heart for the boy, if he does it again then you can say thats enough, but not assumming he can again misbehave
Strong stances is what is required against indisciplined kaponyas. Good riddance, Mulenga, bye bye!
Its like some pipo dont understand. Clifford is a bad influence to the team. The fact that he was not playing he wanted other senior plyers to revolt against the team which had young players like Sinkala, Chisamba and Mayuka. We never wanted this to come out in the open and thats why the coach had to teach the ring leader a leason. Players ( Mbesuma, Sakahuwa Clifford and Felix) were bitter for not playing or playing as subs. Um sure Makembo you know who you are supporting, had it not been for quick intervetion you wouldnt have seen the cup home. What Clifford should do is to make piece with the coach and not through the media or using politics to get into the national team. Teves is a good example and we ve seen coaches (Capello) resigning because of people making decisions on thei behalf
makembo, you spoke on your behalf and NOT on our behalf as soccer fans!! loosers and failures are always quick to defend inefficiency, mediocrity, over-endulgance and lazziness. this is the reason why our once fourth welthiest nation in africa has been reduced to rubbles. if you know what it takes to manage people then you would value discipline and hardwork. we won without this proud mulenga and anyone called for national duty will know exactly what to expect.
@ 15 Ka tripoli???walitumpa?? Even if he was not him as coach, this was our time??? it was written. Why underlet Zambia, the point is let him learn to forgive. The boy is a good player he made a mistake and has been punished. So what?? Ukutumpa you fool. Support your own brothers?? Kamuzungu anikonde??
Are you a fecking Bemba kaponya? Just asking because you talk rubbish.
viva discipline! viva HR
Whats the talk about this substitute called Clifford? Leave RH to do his job. Zambians learn to appreciate. This same player is always on the bench, so who cares whether he is recalled or not?
Did this Clifford score any goals? What’s so great about him when he was just a substitute.Viva Sir HR.
Can someone please follow up this data just received;
1 Has the National Team been paid the promised bonus for winning the AFCON CUP? In addition state how much exactly the boys have been paid. Word has it they were offered $20,000/- instead of the promised $59,000 (K300,000,000) each prompting a walk out leading to the postponement of the Gabon game next week.
2 Word also has it that the K1 billion donated by MTN to FAZ has been chewed amongst Executive Committee members.
Clifford who….. Never heard of the guy till he was fired. Shows you how important he is. Banning him wasn’t enough, he should be fined atleast $20,000.00 for stupidity. You don’t get employed and stay in employment because you are qualified or talented, it is all about ATTITUDE.
Makembo is a fool. Renard got us the Cup after 50 years of trying. *****s like Mulenga should not be so arrogant. His friends showed him that they did not need him. Good riddance!!
Why is it that everyone thinks they can have a say on matters of football in this country? I wonder how all the critics perform at their workplaces and whether they would allow just about anyone to tell them what to do. The life of a coach is a otugh one, for sure.
WE REALLY CAN DO WITHOUT DIS KA BOY CALLED CLIFFORD! WHO IS HE ANYWAY? WE WON THE CUP FOR CHRISTS SAKES!!! VIVA HR, VIVA KALU, VIVA CHIPOLOPOLO
