The Ngambela of Barotse Royal Establishment has urged the Zambian government to be realistic in the way it handles the issue surrounding the western province. Wainyae Sinyinda said that the situation is worse that what is being speculated by different stakeholders in the country.
Ngambela said that the issues surrounding the Barotseland will not die as it is a growing issue. He said that the issue of threats and arrest will not solve anything adding that the people of western province should be listened to.
He says that it is important that the government and there sympathizers become realistic other than threats of arrests. He said that there is need for level headedness from both sides in order to chat the way forward.
He said that people should understand that the resolutions that where made are not him alone but the people of western province. He was speaking this morning on the UK based INTERNET radio Crossfire blog radio, monitored by QFM radio in Lusaka.
And the Ngambela has clarified that it will be too early to call for the Lozi people working in other provinces to resign from there jobs. He said that the situation is surrounding Western Province should not be done in an emotional manner.
QFM
Keep quite old man.We all know that this whole thing was staged.Time you cared about the opinion of the average Lozi.
Arrest this chap oready
Just keep quiet stupid *****. We are watching you. And dont call us Northern Rhodesia imbwa iwe. Wabe fikala ubwingi. I end here!
Ubututu m******me, can you mantain that land when u just fail to matain your wife..IDI@T! KEEP ZEE arrest them and throw them in the fire…
your languege is disrespectful, you show a lot of imaturity in your debate hence pipo now just want to split.
Leave him alone. He is telling the truth. Why don’t you want the truth in Zambia, is ti this ditch kubeba disease that has engulfed the nation
Give them their land, threats of arrest wil worsen the situation.
This man is just selfish. That`s what happens when the love of power goes to somebody’s head.
Selfish for what? Please explain yourself or you are being your usual anti-Lozi tribalist!
ur dull to think they will resign are u going to feed their family wth ths kind of dull.this thing can work if we had intelligent chaps at the helm but wth fools lik ths manthere will neva been any sense of urgency from any sittin gvt.ths govt wil finish its five yrs mandatpeacefuly with or without lozi idiocy
Why call on Lozis in other provinces to resign? Create your own state (If you’ll manage) with good working conditions and the guys in duaspora ie Lusaka, Kitwe will resign
bushe tapali abakucikata ici icimuntu ayi?mataba uyu, pumbafu, mbuli masako he z bringing chaos in the country.
@ 7 meant DIASPORA. Thanx.
Ngambela, what is your understanding of “being realistic”? You mean accepting the position of BNC don’t you?
when we go to loziland the pf slogan ll b dnt kuba imbwa. this is idiocy.i respect lozis vey excellent pipo but amogst themselves are selfish fools who want to be primeministers and drive posh cars. shame on u chi ngambela sinyenyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
The lozis found us in this land. We have been dominated long enough. We wnat our independence from this colonial barotse dicatorship
PEOPLE IN THE KNOW, TELL ME- DID THE MIGRANTS CONSULT THE PEOPLE THEY FOUND IN THE LAND (PROBABLY THE NKOYAS LAMBAS, ETC) BEFORE THEY SIGNED A CONMAN’S (IN THE NAME OF CICIL RHODES) PAPER, OR THEY SIGNED IT WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF OTHERS? AND HOW COME THEY ARE ONLY INSISTING ON THE LAND WITHIN ZAMBIA WHEN ORIGINALLY IT INCLUDED BOTSWANA, NAMIBIA AND ANGOLA. PLEASE, THROW SOME LIGHT.
WHAT ABOUT THE COMMENT FROM THE BRITISH HIGH COMMISSION TO ZAMBIA SAYING THE QUEEN/KING OF ENGLAND WAS NOT INVOLVED IN THIS DEAL? HOW DOES THIS AFFECT THE LEGALITY OF THIS DEAL? PLEASE, COMMENT.
This chap must have been smoking something. Who needs to be realistic between him and the government? This succession issue is being hijacked by selfish elements including himself. Let the people of Zambia quickly hold a referendum and put these day dreamers to shame. The challenges in western province are not unique to that province. Having a toothache does not mean your teeth are more special than anybody elses or that your teeth are made of gold
They came from Angola. Let them go and reclaim their motherland and leave us alone. How can an immigrant who usurps now claim ownership of the land. The lozis are supposed to be educated, let them trace their history. They are not Zambians by historical precedence.
#12 YOU DON’T KN HISTORY…THIS STUPID NKOYAS THERE BRING CONFUSION IN KABOMPO AND WE HAVE TO SEND BACK THERE FUKING CHIEF SIKUFELE FROM MANYINGA,,,,,,WE NEED MUTUNDA WANGAMBO TO BE OUR CHIEK
Good questions Peter but you ask like you already have your own answers :) I have a question. Why is it all the other ‘treaties’ were one key sentence and a thumb print but the Lozi treaties are paragraphs and pages long?
The answer to your second question is that there were several ‘treaties’ in each one the territory was reduced in size. The Brits gave the Portuguese more of Barotseland in an earlier one along with other portions given to the modern day countries you listed. At the time of independence the size of the territory is what you now know as Western Province.
If you want to read about the game play then Hansard and the federation talk prior, during and after will be of interest as Barotseland was left with autonomy throughout. Helpful?
we are out from your zambia you bemba things now trying to hide in decent tribes.zambia as our neibour can not solve this matter which is already at the hands of international abitrators.any foolishness this time around will not be tallerated.our prime minister is more intelligent that the whole bunch of your bemba leaders.try to be foolish as you did.try to tourch our man again.you wont be spared.its a pity youn dont know how organised we are until you start smelling your shit. The first budget of barotseland is already out,our currency is ready.no more,no more of your national anthem in barotseland again.proud for nothing people.lambas will soon chase the bambas from CB,to their kashikishi.they even start bossing as if CB is theres.Bbembas are spoiling zambia.its nice we are no longer con
treason is treason. mambala just know that the law will catch up with you and all these lozi cowards wont be there for you. thats what stupidity breeds.
When this barotse issue started, very few lozies supported it, but with more and more insults more lozies feel more and more inclined to join into this cause and now it has reached a very dangerous. Then mmembe who has some lozi blood has come to realize that the lozies mean business. This is time for reconciliation in the country. We have insulted each other, Bembas, Tongas, Lozis, and other minority groups taking sides. We mind be on the verge of civil war. ask the Rwandies or the Congoles, things started just like this in their countries and before they knew it, people were dead.
I agree with you. Bloggers from outside Western province and those from within must stop hauling insults at each other. I suspect there are some non-Bemba speaking bloggers who are masquerading as Bembas and are insulting our Lozi brothers just to increase the devide between Bembas and Lozis. Lets watch out cos I believe there is someone poised to benefit big time from this ensuing confusion.
part of your filthy, rubbish corrupt country.we shall embrance our law makers on there way back from lusaka to namuso.
“@’MIZ you bemba slave,go and wipe your masters balls and asses, dont we are not responsible for your dullness you bemba begger.your mother is a lihule la nja.***** together with your masters.
Looks like UK involved!
All tribes in Zambia, apart from the BANTU BOTATWE, are foreign to the land which they occupy right now in Zambia. None can claim ownership. So Lozis and Kolwestans should just shut up.
True that!! But alas you stack with them forever—–kekekekekekeke!!!!!!
@mature says
there is no treson in barotseland.treason exists in zambia
#16 what do you mean?
i quess th presdo ‘ll expediat th studying & releasing of th commission of equiry report so as to give a clear gov position on th ba1964 coz i fear we might auguing while standing on same ground yet looking at it jst from a different angle. my opinion tho is that gov should call for a referedum to get an all inclusive position & final remedy to this very serious issue.
It is now boring subject and now this man in saying to the Lozis in other provinces not to resign yet. I thought it was a done deal. He is also a tribalist as he is not mentioning the other tribes affected by his utterances.
when you talk abot your zambia dint include us ,you are annoying why do you insult us for nothing all the time.we dont need your zambia.
@18 Silent drums…ah so this thing is about tribe? Is the government made up of bembas? In any case Sata is Bisa, RB was from the East, LPM was Lenje.
The one true statesman Arthur Wina went too early!
I for one recognizes not the works of Mr Wainyae Sinyinda, and if you think hez gonna rule over Barotseland, think again!
@peter chimanga ,lozi refers to all tribes under the barotseland.the real people who passed the landmark resolutions.
No UK royal signed. The clever British move was to act as a ‘witness’ to the agreement :) Highly unusual to ‘give independence’ that way but smart business when you plan to be able to hold your hands up in the future and say, ‘It wasn’t me!’ All of this info is public record stuff Peter :) Reading British Hansard on the abrogation requires a strong stomach but will open you up to another way of looking at this matter and who was talking and who didn’t want other viewpoints heard and who wanted us to see this day and fail as well as who tried to help. The world has moved on from the ignorant racism you will find and so today’s Brits will blush and be cough cough helpful. History can be ugly and this territory of ‘Rhodesia’ is still much desired by right wing Rhodesians…
@Lozi Nationalist ,the priblem with you bembas is that you alwqay think of ruling.we are not like you.your tribes men are always in thr front seat insult us,we when we have left their zambia for them, they still insult .their pride and trickery is very bad.bye to zambia, bye bye zambia.
wainyae is our minister,he does rule over his people,he is servant of his people.
…in all fairness Barotseland should be let to have its way. At least it will be one less dependent on the Copperbelt. Our province is now underdeveloped! Chingola the biggest earner in zambia, is failing to sustain itself because its earnings and taxes paid have to be externalized to the rest of the country. What the Barotse brothers are advocating for is the way to go. We have subsidized the other provinces for too long!
If you go that route, what about Southern Province which has been supplying power to Chingola for your copper production? One ZED one Nation- only way to go.
@ Mopao
Think Chingola can manage to pay the bills for power. We really need a decentralised economic system in Zambia. There is too much free riding.Provinces should be made to be comparatively advantageous to each other.
but zoona it can be given to them if it is thiers, after all there is no one zambia one nation .let us all share the cake.one tribe dominating in ruling us its too much.
give ower to people !power belongs to them .viva ngambela
Why do you vote that tribe, whichever one you mean?
Give them just Mongu asityopeti aba.Twalema nabo ise.
hey do not be foolish lozis have married outsider now how do we share the bed, lozis should just be allowed to mourn for their cattle and not land, land is for zambians them inclusive.if they acknowledge that zambia exists then ,they deserve to be forgiven because the appreciate without them no zambia can exist.no zanzibar no tanzania.so let us console our brothers over their lossof land to mother zambia.
@ silent drums, you’re so blinded by tribe that you classify every one with a some what divergent view from yours as bemba. As much as I can support the idea of an independent Barotseland I wouldn’t base it on your ‘because of bembas’ reason, and I don’t see any qualities of a people’s servant in wainyae. Look at his accomplishments, or is it failures. He is not fit to be a leader of a free people!
Stupid Ngambela , imwe cage this ***** only stupid nd selfish Lozi’s will resign nd go to barotse desert. Guese given Lubinda ashamed of that name like iam with my chi Lozi name.
Good afternoon From the sound of it, Ngambela thinks he is now running the show and it will be easy for him and the BRE to push for the seperation/secession of Western Province from the rest of Zambia. Well there’s always a hard way to learn that somebody else might have a little more power than you, especially when you ‘re dealing with matters of the law.
The law clearly states that Zambia is a unitary state. The law also regards the violation of allegiance to one’s sovereign (the unitary state in this case) as Treason.
Word of advice to Ngambela: If you fight the law, the law will win!
Zambians (including moderate Lozis) should realise that no matter what solution we give and name it ‘honouring the BA64’, all the Lozis want is secession. So, let us do it systematically. We can adopt the Zanzibar approach, thats what the Ngambela means by ‘realistic’ . We can give them administrative powers and remain with the rest. Look, all their years they have been working in the background that one day they will leave Zambia and that’s why they never allowed indians, investors etc to settle in Mongu bcos the problem wud be too complicated. The issue is complicated by the discovery of oil and it wud appear UK is involved. Shortly you will hear statements from UK to the effect that …’Right to self determination’ cos we are more with China and they are no happy. Its complex
Can you confirm that oil has been discovered in Western Province? If that is true, then I now understand why the calls for our brothers to ‘leave’ ZED!
Which oil you ? Wake up and smell the coffe.
And who the F@#K made you the spokesman for all moderate Lozis BIATCH? Many Lozis have only a peripheral interest in this nonsense. I am half Lozi, but this crap does not smell bad enough to warrant my participation
Q. How do make hundred Bemba men jump off a mountain cliff?
A. By throwing a 50pin off the cliff.
With their long fingers and love of money the only thing they are good at is stealing and prostitution. Leave lozi people alone!!
Pity there are no mountains in barotseland, so you can’t make them jump!!!!
Stop fighting. God has favored you — if you all work together. Be good to one another. You are one nation. Command the world’s respect. Do not court the world’s contempt. Unity!
That’s a bit of a catch 22 as the unitary state was created by BA64…
This man is not supposed to be the Ngambela where was he when Banda who is funding him spread bullets on the people in mongu last year.He was eating with MMD today he wants to be used to bring problems in WP.The resolutions were made what next tell us the peaceful route.Lozis should transform a leave hatred of foreigners in WP.The time for fighting over what and what is long gone we must be objective and be able to measure what we are taking so that we understand that what caused this agreement the boundaries must be known.Without these it a fight that will be fought for wrong reasons.
#30 what tribe is the Litunga.
Why somuch paper work about Barotseland.?because it was a protectorate under a protectorate..we all knw how african kings n Queens were being Manipulated by the white Men that time.. At no point was barotseland a country. Not in this Earth… Western provincd is poor? Wel as long as the Litunga doesnt surrender that prime land to the local government you’ll always lag behind with yo evasive traditional land..

Let us kill all lozis in orherbparts of the counteryof zambia
Man you are sick!!!!! Killing never got rid of any problem, YOU ARE TALKING GENOCIDE!!!! Is this all you have to show for your travels in the diaspora?????
The few Lozis involved are very selfish fthey are claiming the land that never belonged to them they are immigrants they signed an agreement in a crooked way by saying anafa anafa and the White took all this land including Copperbelt shame on you.crooks your evil plans have been exposed.Zambians are peaceful and we want peace not war we fear the Lord nothing else we are united one Zambia one nation viva KK . why are you only claiming land in Zambia mind you western province do not belong to you Lozis. because of selfish Chaps you have put all good Lozi people in akward situation they will be persecuted country wide that I can assure you
f.u.c.k the bantustan & kolwestans
What a hopeless and dead end man. No wonder MMD was a failed party, with charecters like this its clear why MMD was a none performer. Now listen wena Muna asina ngana. How do you expect me to leave my house in Kabulonga and my job to go and become a mulisani in the Saana. And where will my kids school from Mabumbu; schools you helped run aground when you where minister. Just shut up and go and prosttarte yourself before Sata if you want a job.
Give them their land, they have already decided.
hear hear. Hummer.!
He is just another opportunist. What a crazy old man.
Paranoia.
The assumption with the secession call is always that they will be better off without the rest of Zambia.
It’s laughable that this character Clement claims that beer drinking has worsened because the agreement was not restored. BS.
Greed underlies all conflict.
greed is when a township in lusaka which only produces fake certificate looks more developed than a town on the copperbelt which produces copper.
GO NGAMBELA YO MASSES IN BAROTSELAND ARE BEHIND YOU.including our couseins TONGAS OUR FRIENDS IN DEED WEN WE ARE IN NEED.
How interesting to see how bembas want to hang on to the Lozis, Leave the lozis alone! I am sure they will better off alone than being part of a country that is run like a failed State. So corrupt country!
Zambians have no use for that sandy piece of land. Pliz mr president give them their sand, they are burden on our coffers. If pipo from cb and n/western are quiet with their wealth, who are these tribalists making such din
The Ngambela is intelligent!
@34, WAMpocho: Look, Bembes will only continue dominating Zambian politics for as longs your inferiority complexes keep you thinking WP is Zambia! You can not win or succeed in Zambian politics/elections by being tribal-introverts. Lozis by themselves can never elect a president. This is the same mistake UPND made after Andrew Mazoka died. They started looking inward thinking that SP alone can elect a president—impossible! Their strategy has failed and they are now busy blaming “Bembas” (PF) for their failures. How silly is that?
Politics requires widely forming friendships and persuading people of all tribal hues to support you. Complaining and misdirecting your lack of political savvy will only keep you in the political doldrums forever!
Perfect sense!!!!
I ve just been reading -again!- the BA 1964 published by LT some time back. I was interested in finding a clause that talks about secession of Barotseland from ZED and I did not see one. I am an engineer by profession and I thought maybe I need a lawyer to point me to where secession is implied in this agreement. Any lawyers in the house? If there is no secession implied in this document , I think we do not need to copntinue insulting each other – most of the rural parts of ZED , Western Province included, are in dire need of development and if that’s what our brothers are crying for, then let’s listen to them. Infact lets support them to ensure that PF govt takes development to ALL rural parts of our ZED.
It is for the same reason there is no reference to divorce on a marriage certificate. Neither is their reference to death on a birth certificate. Honestly only a stupid person would argue in such a warped manner.
Brilliant Come Back by Ireena.
Good try Ireen, BUT you are very wrong!!! Marriage has been with man time immemorial, written law is very recent. Written law was adapted to fit norms of society, thus at the time, Divorce was heresy – hence why it does not appear. Having said that, man has evolved into the 21st century, & accepted the fact that marriages can be dissolved today & hence there are legal precedents that allow for it.
Coming to secession, when BA64 was signed it brought two orphan territories together to make one unitary state with a CONSTITUTION by which WE ARE ALL GUIDED. Zambia will have to TEAR UP ITS CONSTITUTION to allow for secession – BY REFERENDUM, which means WE ALL VOTE, not just Sinyinda with his arm raising activists in a large tent!!
Actually, you have never seen the details of a marriage contract. Ireen, all marriage contracts in the gaps you fail to read, pass all assets to be shared save where there is a pre nuptual agreement. Re read your contract, do not post half researched ideas.
histry hs it dat ukwa & his tribmen fro kongo,
Yes, P.F promised the restoration of the Barotse agreement. But the question is ‘does it mean when K.K and others were signing the agreement they were signing for secession? But how come after signing Zambia became a unitary state? I smell a Rat here because the same people were saying, when P.F was in opposition, that they were not protesting for secession, but for development. But how has the position changed. Is it greediness or power to the Litunga? Let us be sensible and clear about things
I shall continue praying for my land zambia, peaceful nation.takwaba ifyachisha amapepo.indeed we need to help the WP but indeed besides LSK and CB,we still need to develop the rest of zambia.theys no need to insult one another, but surely we dont learn from history….luanda genocide
Secetion is the only way. pliz save us from this nose diving country
I think the people in western province should stop the the seasonal movement, because it nomadic in nature and you can’t expect to see development when you have been building temporary structures for over 100 years. Kuomboka encourages this and the Chief should be blamed for non-development of the area, he has to have one permanent place. This is just my observation.
Talk of “Shifting Sands!!!”
One Zambia One Nation. Thank you God that papers were signed and our golden skin was on this continent. Europeans brought boundaries. The wise are speaking now; Ngambela should let this rest, brothers and sisters pray that God helps us solve this once and for all.
pipo one zambia one nation comes from the agreement you are now disputing remember agreement is agreement so no agreement means the glue is not binding.
Someone’s whispering in his ear that western province is sitting on oil and gas reserves which should not be shared with the rest of Zambia. Zambia needs all it’s provinces even England, Scotland and Wales know that they are stronger together. Let’s have a vote on this issue.
The ngambela is the one who is not realistic. The Lozis found people here whwn they migrated. If the idea is going backwards then let us go beyond 1964 and send the lozis back to where they came from. Is it zaire or angola. They may have been running away from some war and are refugees in the land they found tongas. Nobody owns this land God our creator does. Let us leave in peace as brothers and sisters. By the way western province would be over populated with no jobs is all lozis were repatriated. On a lighter noe more jobs for zedians when Lozis resign enmass we don’t need expatriates where zambians can do the jobs.
this is the same way the britons felt when we called for independence but they had no choice. (job 13-13 pampamina ichamunobe chibe ichobe) wont work, its time to let go remember barosteland had its own currency and a good system of governance.so viva ngambela viva go go we are tired of masholi
…”And the Ngambela has clarified that it will be too early to call for the Lozi people working in other provinces to resign from there jobs. He said that the situation is surrounding Western Province should not be done in an emotional manner.” No bo Ngambela. You the one who should be realistic. You only think this whole “thing” will one day come to pass? I pity the fool. And those of you here following this barotse nonsense blindly are just as ignorant and quite honestly, pathetic. This will never happen, not yesterday, not today and certainly not tomorrow. Let it rest already and focus on developmental projects or something in Western province. You’re wasting your own time.
Yambayamba #64, what you have said makes sense. Who has an ear to the ground? What are the elected LOZI MP’s saying about the development in Western Province? It would be nice to know. The truth is that no matter how desperate they are about breaking away from Zambia, it will not happen. Like others have suggested, let’s have a referendum in Western Province itself and establish how many are for the break away. The other way round is to request all Lozi’s in Zambia to participate in the referendum. One Zambia One Nation.
Just selfish. How many Lozi’s have business established on copperbelt/lusaka? Do they have to go back to western province? It is shameful and selfish. You have a lot of Lozi’s in Lusaka/Southern province Bakaya kwi?? Just away by yourself and have some land to cultivate impwa na chibwabwa.
A quiet king Cobra is more venomous than a talkative one. Watch this space.
Thats a good one
What Ngambela should realise is that Zambia, a country to which he belongs, HAS NEVER COLONIZED, OCCUPIED nor ENFORFCED it self on an INTEGRAL PART OF ITSELF!!!
BA64 was about the Litunga retaining his powers within the state of Zambia. For arguments sake, one can now say WP is probably so underdeveloped BECOZ subsequent Govts DIDN’T WANT TO TREAD ON THE TOES OF THE LITUNGA, OUT OF RESPECT FOR BA64!! Thus instead of blaming Govt or others, BRE should be speaking to the LITUNGA, asking him very serious questions!!! Once the Litunga had signed BA64 allowing for Zed to become independent, THE CONSTITUTION became SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND.
What BRE should be asking, is for Litunga to lobby for more Developmental Funds/projects. Sinyinda can then lobby to supervise that!!!
Stop making noise you *****. Mar paul low yeah call.
Bembas are so worried of losing the lozis! This is a modern world , what the lozis are asking for is not strange, it happens every where. In Kenya the Mombasa Republic Council wants to brake away from the rest of Kenya and its no big deal there. The whole of Eastern Europe is dotted with countries that broke away. In the USA, if the State of Texas decides to break away its there decision, its no big deal. Zambia is a unitary State because two territiories came together. If one territory decides to break away because the agreemnet has been breached, nothing wrong with that, life goes on.
I hope my true muf****s know,this is the realest S.hit I ever I wrote!
I’m Lozi and a proud one at that!I’m against all this …what do you call it, again?Barotseland secession!Guess who will benefit from all this…Yes, you are guessed right, the chiefs and their immediate family members! All this nonsensical will just benefit them in their quest for insatiable appetite to cling on to power like a bug clings on to dog’s skin!Haven’t you ever wonderd why most Lozis who are educated abroad are from the loyal family?…
It’s because they (Lozi chiefs) send their children under bursaries and they don’t compete with other students to earn those places,(Please, atleast let them compete with other students, they are not more Zambian than the rest of those students!).In this modern era, Who wants to be ruled by a chief, anyway?Let me vote for my leader ,please and not impose one on me,dammit! We should learn to move with time, why should one family rule untill the end of time, it’s not like that single family enjoys a monopoly of knowledge!Mr.Presidente, please revamp the local government and discard those good for nothing chiefs, they are retarding the development…they are their to bewitch each other.Yes,I said it,I said it right here on LT!
I go against all odds!
If sinyinda declares formation of the Government and put the Litunga at the top arrest them all no one is above the Law including chiefs and paramount chiefs.
@ lady k , dont forget your own fool KK who thought he dribbled the people of barotseland by abrogating the document that created zambia.barotseland is out from zambia.the lozi people dont use their mouths to think, they use their heads, they can document every turn KK made to destroy and over the look document that creadted zambia.if KK will be in hell,it will be over the lives lost over the years beacuse of BA 64.once our MPs pull of from your parliament and follow thw will of their people.effectively your one arm remaining clinging to barotseland will be chopped off by our allies.
@ lady k , dont forget your own fool KK who thought he dribbled the people of barotseland by abrogating the document that created zambia.barotseland is out from zambia.the lozi people dont use their mouths to think, they use their heads, they can document every turn KK made to destroy and over the look document that creadted zambia.if KK will be in hell,it will be over the lives lost over the years beacuse of BA 64.once our MPs pull of from your parliament and follow thw will of their people.effectively your one arm remaining clinging to barotseland will be chopped off by our allies.
its nice when our children in barotseland sing thrie own national anthem in their own state of barotseland.
He is backtracking now!Didnt he call for all lozi mp’s to resign? And now he says its too early for that.We must not listen to such men who are intoxicated with wishful dreams of an independent province coz if we do next it will be Mpezeni,Mwata,Chitimukulu,Nkhomeshya,Chikuni etc. Then trury and well there will be no Zambia and it will be back to chiefdoms. The PRESIDENT OF ZAMBIA whoever it is at a particular time must defend and protect the constitution of ZAMBIA.We must remain a unitary state. We can only review how these provinces are run to enable effective management and not split ups.GOD BLESS ZAMBIA.
Why are Africans incapable of discussing issues dispassionately? Clearly the so called Ngambela has jumped the gun by assuming that all Lozis working in other parts of Zambia would want to suddenly wake up as foreigners in their own country. But also the government needs to sit with these people, away from the glare of the cameras, and talk. I can see a good case for decentralization and devolution of powers to all provinces.
We strive for civility and modesty in any discourse, but the hate, the insults, the ridicule directed at a people expressing their God given, inalienable human rights cannot be taken lying down. You hate, insult and ridicule a people, yet you crave for their continued unity with you. You ridicule their land as miles of useless sand, yet you still cling to it. Most amazing is the level of ignorance, lower intelligence levels, poor grasp and analysis of deeply engraved underlying issues … list goes on. Better keep your mouth shut than to open it only to subtract large chunks from the sum total of human knowledge and collective intelligence.
The Barotse guys chose a wrong time all together. Zambia is seen as the poster- child for democracy in Africa and I doubt they wanna support anything that disrupts that view. I read the that the British High Commissioner said the queen has nothing to do with the agreement. A witness cannot enforce a contract my friends.
SO THE QUEEN HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BAROTSELAND AGREEMENT. FINISH. CASE CLOSED.
This chap is very funny. He is the one being unrealistic and emotional
Let the Litunga comment anyway not this ex-MMD job seeker
TREASONABLE ACTS…ARREST THIS GUY!!!!!!!
Ngambela is the official spokesman of the Litunga. In the past you used to hear; ” The BRE has distanced itself from such and such a statement.” Now if you did not hear that from the BRE, correcting the declaration, then SIKUN’GUKILE, meaning the Litunga has endorsed it, and it is done. So people stop insulting Ngambela who is only a spokesman of the Litunga and the people of Barotseland. Thus no treason when the Barotse people accept abrogation of the BA64 by the Zambian government. The Zambian military should immediately vacate Barotseland because they are violating International laws. The UN security force is enough to protect Barotseland until the transition is over. We can no longer trust trust the Zambian Army nor the Zambian Police. Freedom is sweet.
Nduma you dont deserve anything, not even the oxygene you breathe!I cant argue further with you coz u are blind, deaf, dumb and have no feeling whatsoever. You cant succeed in your mischievious actions.Try your luck though!GOD BLESS ZAMBIA.
Barotseland : let my people Go.Welcome Africa’s newest state 2013.Oil and Gas plus UN,UkUSA pressure will be enough to secure Freedom.
@Yambezhi….you are so ridiculous….I live in the United States and there is absolutely no way the state of Texas would want to break away from the rest of US. In fact America is more interested in annexing land to the Americas…eg Alaska, Puerto Rico etc and not the other way round. You are so stupid and dumb. What is happening in Zambia as regards the BRE is sad and backward. Jail the lunatics….no time to waste guys!!! Lozis are retards, they are power hungry people period. I am gutted!!!

@SALTER PA STATES
You are a weird one! If you are so bitter and have so much hatred against Lozis, why do you want them to continue to be part of Zambia? You are the one with ridiculous fascist ideas. You are right to feel gutted because Lozis will not tolerate being ridden like horses by tribal small-minds like you. Lozis are not power hungry. It is called self-determination, you troll!
I listened to the whole thing and I have to say the Ngambela was very articulate… I thought he layed his case really well.
Fun hearing the questions, you can almost tell which bloger was making the comment.
