Power Dynamos midfielder Patrick “Animal” Kasunga has started light training eight months after sustaining a thigh injury in a car accident in Kitwe.
Last September,Kasunga,27, suffered a thigh fracture in a car accident that occured along the Kitwe-Ndola Road.
The midfielder was found training at Arthur Davies Stadium separately from his team-mates on Wednesday.
Kasunga later confirmed that he resumed light training earlier this month.
“I am feeling much better. I started training almost a month ago,” he said.
Kasunga was a member of Zambia’s bronze medal-winning team at the inaugural CHAN tournament held in Cote d’Ivoire in 2009.
The injury prone ex-international, has previously played for Afrisports, Konkola Blades and Township Rollers in Botswana.
