Konkola Blades collected another important win over a struggling side at home when they rallied to beat visiting Indeni 2-1 in Chililabombwe.
The wins eases the pressure on coach Manfred Chabinga as Blades blow hot and cold this season and whose side came into this match after beating bottom placed National Assembly 1-0 at Konkola Stadium a week ago.
Blades were stunned when Indeni took the lead in the 7th minute when Bobby Chanda headed in the games opening goal.
However, Indeni’s lead lasted just six minute when Kabwe Chileshe also nodded in the ball to see the teams’ go 1-1 into the break.
Second half substitute Ben Mwanza slammed in the winner from close-range in the 90th minute to secure the three points for Blades.
Blades moved from seventh to fifth after nine games with 16 points, five less then leaders Zesco United ahead of their big clash against second placed Power Dynamos on Wednesday at Konkola.
Indeni meanwhile are rooted second from bottom and without a win since April 14 when they beat winless Assembly 1-0 in Ndola.

Go dinamo go and show the chaps that you are a high quality team.
atase marubbish.
Indeni need to come off the negative belief that they are a division 1 material. They lose 1 nil, 2-1, 3-2, meaning that they dont want to win and themselves are to blame.
Why should they score 2 goals and allow 3, but on another day they will not even score, but will allow 1. Change this attitude or else. Better you end 0-0 or you win 1-0.
CAN SOMEONE PASS ON THIS MESSAGE TO THE INDENI COACH;THE TEAM LACKS TACTICAL DISCIPLIONE AND OVERALL PHYSICAL FITNESS.IF THEY ARE TO SURVIVE.
I WONDER WHY ALWAYS THERE IS A NDOLA TEAM THAT IS RELEGATED EVERY SEASON.WHY CAN’T THEY JUST UNITE AND FORM ONE FORMIDABLE TEAM-NDOLA UNUTED FC.DIVIDED WE ARE RELEGATED,UNITED WE STAY IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE.

No. 6 and 7…Thats the only way to go about this matter. Lyonse nimwe bafumya mu Premier League. This time should Indeni get relegated, I will mobilize old supporters to come to Ndola and sweep the team. We will have a friendly fight with management if this team goes down again.
My history tells me that Indeni used to beat Zesco everytime they met in those years 1994 and the years that followed. Today Zesco is powerful, but I ndeni is languishing at the bottom of the MTN FAZ league. I promise you a friendly….poseniko amano bane. This message goes to all Ndola clubs to pull up their socks, before I come for a friendly at the end of the season.
