Singuluma Pulls Out of Sudan Trip

Share

TP Mazembe striker Given Singuluma has pulled out of Zambia’s June 2 World Cup qualifying clash against Sudan.

Faz communications officer Erick Mwanza said in an interview that Singuluma had pulled out due to health reasons from Zambia’s 2014 World Cup Group D qualifier in Khartoum.

Singuluma’s popped up at Football House on Thursday to state his withdrawal after a highly publicized no-show at Zambia’s training camp in Johannesburg just two days after his fellow TP Mazembe call-ups joined the team in South Africa.

“Singuluma will not travel to South Africa because he is not well following the ribcage injury he suffered at TP Mazembe that was also confirmed by the medical staff at the club,” Mwanza said.

“He is finishing the final week of therapy and therefore out of the game against Sudan.”

Singuluma’s absence has raised some theories with one thought alleging that he snubbed his recall after being dropped from the 2012 Africa Cup team in January.

  1. If it’s the fuss about AFCON 2012 ninshi kapuba fye. But I want to believe that he is genuinely sick. Get well soon.

  2. Somehow it is a blessing to Singuluma, because it could have been the end if he was dropped by RB, which 98% chance. Renard prefers those Katongo brothers, I don’t like them: The older one has longest arms and runs as if he going to beat someone, and the young brother with side ways feet misbehaves like a street kid, but no one can touch him otherwise his brother will spill the beans on everybody.
Get well soon Singuluma, humble guy.

  3. so yu so called Nostradamus u think u hav a place in mordern society with those hate comments for nothing u must be the most ***** chap on earth.

  4. Why do you like impersonating others for things you cant perform? ba Nostadamus mwichindike please. where were you and where are you? if the Katongos managed to bring it (the Africa cup) then you MUST shut up

  5. Nostradamus, please enlighten us on why you dislike the Katongo brothers. you have to give some detail and not publish personal hatred without facts. What is it you’re trying to tell us about the younger brother’s behaviour?

  6. #2 u cant b serious, the Katongos did a wonderful job 4 zed with Christopher bn one of the best players of the tourney…lnspiring his teamates to vctry, agility, confidence and power bn some of his characteristcs.

  7. I support number 2, except my point is that we need more money in pipos pockets not one family twakana, let mbesuma also pocket something including henry milanzi

  8. #2..make sense next time u consider to drop in..on the site..anyway we do have enough fire power even without singuluma..about the katonga brothers..i think they are so committed to their job and thats good because you need people like them. not the very best technically though but johnson bwalya if i remember his name right was such a player who was so committed, always on time for call ups and always played his lungs out..so the katongo broz are good for the team..i love the chaps but i know they can improve with their big hearts..good luck boys in sudan
