Ghana Hold Training Session At Arthur Davies

Share

Ghana striker Sulley Muntari sat out  The Black Stars first training session at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe on Thursday afternoon ahead of Saturday’s 2014 World Cup Group D World Cup qualifier against Zambia.

Muntari watched the entire late afternoon light training session from the dugout receiving treatment from the team’s medics.

The acting Ghana skipper is reported to be carrying a minor leg knock.

However, the rest of the players went through routine light training that lasted slightly over 30 minutes.

The team arrived at Arthur Davies under Zambia Police escort just after 17:00 hours aboard a luxury bus.

Curious fans, including Power Dynamos players, watched the Black Stars in training.

Ghana is scheduled to have a feel of Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Friday afternoon about 24 hours before facing Zambia at the same venue.

  1. Lets hope the knock sully muntari has will be serious. We can have chance to beat Appiahs men to save renard being fired.

  2. #1 Akulu. We’re beating Ghana, come Saturday no doubt about it. Them and Ivory Coast should come up with one team to force a draw with Chipolopolo. Lol!

  3. Final Warning!
If you are Zambian out there and love football, please don’t watch that game you will die from ‘Chikonko’….It’s either we lose by a goal to nil or we draw.Either way, we are out!
We are in ‘maningi’ trouble Chikolopelo, sorry I meant to say/write Chipolopolo!

  4. #2,3,4 makaveli, even at the AFCON, loosers likes you with a low self esteem said the same. Its only in zambia where anything foreign is highly rated by the likes of makaveli.[-(

  5. You Zambians think our Ghana Black Stars are coming to tour Ndola, just seeing its beautiful countryside. Not so?
Your win over the Black Stars in Eq. Guinea was a fluke. This time we are going to put you to eternal rest, both in Ndola and back in Kumasi, our “slaughter” home. Not even the ghosts of your 1993 plane crash team can save you. Your Coach Renard had his career roots from Ghana under Claude Le Roi. :-?:d

  6. American Boy, you are right. “Black stars ye san aba bio”. To you Zambians who don’t understand our language, it means, “Black Stars, we’re back again”. We are in for the greatest revenge! We shall slaughter you and not even the ghosts of your perished players can save you ! Amen!

  7. The Black Stars are devastating in away matches I don’t see how they can flop this time around. The best the Chipolopo can do is a draw but I bet, Ghana is winning the match 3-1. Coach Renard has sensed this defeat and is using the unpaid salary issue as a smokescreen to save the embarrassment that will befall him.

  8. If Kalaba is fit and the allowances issue has been sorted out as well as Renhard being assured of his salary, I dont see why we cant beat Ghana.

However, if the allowances for players havent been sorted out, Renhard received no assurance for his salary while Kalusha offers his wife a K 1 billion Kwacha contract, the morale will be too low to beat Ghana, Kalusha should dance to our music after that.

I ohpe Renhard will put up a goos side, I have a feeling Chrios Katongo and is not always at his best and he is a little selfich before the goal, its time the coach gave a chance to other players, Levy Mwanawasa Stadium deserves grand openning!!!

  9. FAKE BLOGGERS ,YOU SAY CHIPOLOPOLO WILL LOSS,THAT CAN’T HAPPEN AND WILL NEVER HAPPEN,GHANA WILL BE HAMMERED,HUMILIATED,DEFEATED,HUMBLED,CLOBBERED AND ABOVE ALL WILL BE PUT TO ETERNAL REST,LET SATURDAY COME YOU WILL SEE IT FOR YOURSELF.TWICE BEATEN SHY……….TWABWELA NAKABILI.CHAMPION OF AFRICA!!!!!!!!

  10. As long as they dont change their performance zambia may go out as i watched them in sudani these boys they made me sad that day they played like amatures even blue eagles of kamfinsa play wel the way played here in sudan where am currrently passing time

  11. Yet another shock 4 the Black Stars as the succumb to CHIPOLOPOLO 3-1 to take group D back to the drawing board.
