Struggling Nkana on Sunday continued with their poor form after allowing bottom placed Indeni to hold them 0-0 in a match marred by ugly scenes at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.
Lusaka referee Hastings Hachilwa needed police escort to escape lynching from irate Nkana supporters after he had disallowed a 79th minute goal by winger Ian Kafusha.
Hachilwa’s assistant raised his flag adjudging striker Reynold Kampamba who had set up Kafusha to be offside.
Nkana supporters protested the decision by throwing missiles on the pitch and forced the match official to halt the game close to 10 minutes.
After the game match officials had to be detained by police for half an hour as the home fans had camped outside the dressing room threatening to beat up the referee and his assistant.
Besides the mini riot and missile throwing display from the stands to the pitch by the home fans, this delayed Super Division week 14 match could top the list of the dullest league encounters this season.
Nkana are 11th from 12 on 14 points after the draw while Indeni remain rooted at the bottom of the table in 16th position.

Yaba! Nkana supporters at it again. Don’t they ever learn?
Go konkola mine police go. ba nkana notubaice tu mine police natumisha. mwali isa nechimwela ninshi mwasepele ba roan na ba konkola ama 3 zero.now where are you?
Nkana suporters are savages who simply can not accepty defiet, they expect what their louse players cant give. simple understanding, when you bad you bad no two ways about it
No full stops or commas etc,to your nkana mis analysis, please be remineded that nkana football club is the most prestigious and successful club in the country, undisputed fact.Dont refer to all nkana supporters as savages, but emitionally attached supporters to their club understanding to well what this club of talented players and rich history can do and restore the lost glory and the deserved happiness meant for the many zambians nkana fc supporters.
Henry you are a fool. Nkana’s 79th goal was a clear goal but disallowed due to poor officiating.
Ba Chani, don’t be too “emitionally” charged when your team is hammered, past history is just that, it belongs to the past and at the rate you are going, it will be overtaken.
Your response here shows you are not far from being a savage, really.
for us who did not watch the game it wll e difficult to judge who was at faulty. i would suggest that as so called the supporters let us be carrying cmeras to shoot the games so that in such situations your concern can be raised to FAZ for the final decisioon. if the game was shot we cud ve judged wether the referee and his assistant were right or wrong. As at now we can wish our giant club to work hard time is still there for them GOOD LUCK NKANA
I have learnt to respect the referee’z decizion right or wrong. Am not too sure if there waz anything wrong withe goal Nkana scored, but az per my initial statement, there iz no need to debate the whole issue. Th unsportsmanship behaviour of Nkana iz unacceptable to say the least and must be checked by thoze concerned. What message are they sending to their sponsorz who have a corporate image to protect?
Well done Zanaco let’s keep it sensationalÂ
Where are the Division 1 North and South Tables, or even just their results?
