Herve Renard has called a Power Dynamos perennial benchwarmer for Zambia’s friendly against Zimbabwe.
Ex-Zambia Under-20 Midfielder Sebastian Mwansa who is currently on loan at Power from TP Mazembe is part of the five additional players Renard has drafted into the team on Monday for the August 8 friendly in Ndola.
Power club sources confirm that Mwansa has barely kicked the ball for Power over the last two months.
Renard have overlooked Power attacking Kennedy Mudenda who is one of the sides’ high performers alongside Joseph Sitali who is in the team for the trans-Zambezi derby.
Mwansa is one of two Power players in the team together current top scorer Graven Chitalu who leads the chart on 10 goals after 17 games played.
Other players in the team are midfielders Misheck Chaila and Lubambo Musonda of Konkola Blades and National Assembly respectively.
Angolan-based Lawrence Phiri is the other additional call-up bringing to 27 the number of players to enter camp in Ndola next week.
