Nkana striker Evans Kangwa has declared that the legendary club will survive relegation.

Nkana is 12th on the Faz Super Division table with 16 points in 17 games.

In an interview after Mopani Copper Mines donated a set of jerseys to Nkana worth K25 million on Thursday, Kangwa said his team will work on its mistakes in order to raise their performance.

He said Nkana players are concerned over their team’s poor showing so far in the season.

” We are going to maintain our Super Division status, we will come up with a winning formula again. We will try our best to work hard to fight and win upcoming matches. This is a big team we can’t be in the bottom four,” Kangwa said.

He noted that his absence in most of Nkana’s matches due to injury has affected the team’s performance.

“I think my injury has affected the team. It was disturbing for the team, I am one person who can change things,” Kangwa added.

He told Nkana supporters not to lose faith in their team.
