Faz Division One North league leaders Lime Hotspurs on Sunday beat second placed Kalewa 2-nil to open up a 10-point lead at the top of the table.
Lime now tops the league with 44 points while Kalewa have maintained their second slot with 34 points despite the loss in the Ndola derby.
John Sikaumbwe handed Lime a 24th minute lead before midfielder Lameck Kafwaya added the second goal after 57 minutes.
Lime, captained by ex-Chipolopolo defender Clive Hachilensa, are targeting to bounce back to the Super Division after suffering demotion in their debut Faz Super Division campaign last season.
Elsewhere, Ndola United moved into third place after beating Nkwiza 1-nil away in Kitwe to increase their tally to 33 points while Kalulushi Modern Stars missed a chance to go second when drawing 0-0 at Bresmar United in Solwezi.
