Shepolopolo Downed By Zimbabwe

Share

The Zimbabwe Women Team on Wednesday taught their Zambian counterparts a football lesson after beating them 5-0 in a friendly played at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

This was a curtain-raiser to the men’s friendly which Zambia won 2-1 later in the evening.

Zimbabwe striker Rudo Nshamba registered a brace with goals in the 60th and 87th minutes.

There was another brace for second half substitute Rutendo Makore added her name to the score sheet in the 79th and 84th minutes.

All the five goals came in the second half with Nkokuthula Ndhlovu opening the flood-gates just a minute after the restart.

  1. The pipo that organised the useless ladies team to play at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium must be ashemed of themselves. The ladies have registered the first defeat and cursed the Stadium.

who ever did that arrangement is a useless person. they should have been taken to Chifubu pimary School ground not there.
Or the Ref should have disallowed all the 5 goals. That is OUR fortress.

  2. please, the name “Shepolopolo” does not meaning anything because “Chipolopolo” is a neuter and is never masculine for us to call the ladies by that name. whoever gave the team that name is ignorant because there is no female bullet or male bullet. the team should instead be called “Chipolopolo ladies” or something else not Shepolopolo which doesn’t mean anything!

  3. You are very right Zedian. There is no male or female bullet so the name shepolopolo has got no meaning at all, so please rename the shepolopolo to something else.

  4. @Mpangula Mputyu, cursed the stadium iweeeeeeee???? Are u sure??????????? I beg to differ with u boyi, get real coz this is futball not ubuloshi baneeeee nama cursing……… shame!!!!!
