Former Works and Supply Minister Mike Mulongoti, has urged government to utilize the 750 million dollar Euro bond to the best interest of the majority of Zambians in the country.
Mr. Mulongoti says the Eurobond is essential for the country’s economic future as long as the money was used in projects that were rewarding and beneficial to the country’s development.
Mr. Mulongoti reminded government that the money was borrowed, and there was therefore need to use it on investment projects that will help in paying back to its owners.
Early this month, Zambia sold its debut 750 million dollar international bond to help fund its budget and invest in infrastructure.
And Mr. Mulongoti says there is nothing much that the Patriotic Front-PF-government can boast of in the one year that it has been in government.
Commenting on PF’s one year stay in government, Mr. Mulongoti says the PF is faced with challenges such as fulfilling the promises which they made, hence it was early to judge the Michael Sata led government.
He however expressed hope that the PF was going to deliver as it had shown signs of improvement in the last one year that it has been in office.
MUVI TV
The indications so far are that he wants to pretend to ‘use it’ on roads but secretly divert the money using confidential OP accounts.
What do you say to that Mulongoti?
PROVERBS 15:1 – A SOFT ANSWER TURNS AWAY WRATH, BUT A HARSH WORD STIRS UP ANGER.
2 – THE TONGUE OF THE WISE USES KNOWLEDGE RIGHTLY, …
Mulo – Who?
Job seeker! You re contradicting yourself. Shit
Well said Mungoloti, the money should benefit all Zambians. PF please show us that you can deliver. Dont steal that money like the MMD. Be different from them please.

Look who is talking. You guys I am sure with RB you would have used this money for parties at state house every weekend. Trips and “working holidays” and give some to Liato just in case so that he hides it for you. We would have seem the largest campaign in 2016 . You are talking sense but you are a snake.

mulongoti, last man to lecture anyone bt i gues its freedom of speech!
the advise from hon mulongoti is very balanced, he is looking at things from both sides and this is the kind of advise pf gvt is supposed to be proud of. this same man supported pf during and after elections. some of us who knows mulongoti he is not after a job, mulongoti may not be a billionaire but he is one of those people who have invested and is comforteble in this life. just give hon mulongoti time from now and u will see where he is heading to. he is looking for a right time to annouce his plans or is he already annoucing indirectly?
Mulongoti….can you pliz keep quiet. You have had your chance, let us hear from oher people as well who can talk sense. You have talked rubbish for sometime now.YOU JOB SEEKER!!
i wonder if the money will benefit us..!
Excellent post. I was checking constantly this blog and I am inspired! Extremely useful info specially the final part :) I maintain such information much. I was seeking this certain information for a lengthy time}. Thank you and best of luck.
I belive that one of the priority areas for the PF to use the Euro-Bond cash on is the tourism sector. with the coming of the WTO Conference in Livingstone the government should see to it that they strategically allocate i.e. US$100 Million towards developing a “Conference Village” to fully cater for all or ,most of the delegates accommodation and Conference activties in one place, just like Kaunda did with the Mulungushi Village and The Mulungushi Conference Hall together with the Pamodzi Hotel. Government should be at the forefront to manage the whole process to successfully host this very important meeting and such development will allow for the country to be the preffered destination for most international conferences and other high ranking meetings of the region.
Very nice post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have truly loved surfing around your blog posts. In any case I’ll be subscribing for your feed and I hope you write once more soon!
