  1. Pic 1-At first glance i thought ma guava balemulisha mudala.Pic 4 now thats some real swag right there.Nice pictures ba LT.Happy birthday Zambia !!!!

  2. Pic 27-Only the Muzungu`s ? I bet that confirms rumours  that the barotse pipo refused to participate in the celebration….the muzungus had to represent.Ndeloleshafye.

    • Get lost your retarded excuse of a human being.Did you forget to take your meds today ? Go to hell you low life creature. What happened to people having opinions ? You are pathetic.

    • Maxwell or whatever your pseudo-name is…I can see that you are taking internet anonymity to another level.Ha ha ha crazy what people can do under that firewall protection.Am sure on a personal level you are almost a good person but the moment you sit before your pc even the little that has remained of your compromised sanity goes away.Get a life young man and stop being an a.s.s

    • My dear friend from today onwards you should refrain from making vile observations with tribalistic and racial undertones. I know you are nobody’s fool but maybe someone somewhere will adopt you.

    • My friend ? Im not your friend you Mo-ron.Am not at your level…am far much better than you will ever be both intellectually and academically.Get over yourself dude…what makes you think i can follow your idio-tic opinion…you know what ! It has been a while ever since i met a mo-ron online.Sorry  this might sound  a bit too personal but what did you have for dinner ? You shouldn’t answer back if you don’t feel like it.I bet your strange behavior must have something to do with your diet. One of the symptoms is nonstop farting.Check yourself properly bro….a.s.s  hole

    • Maxwell you have issues my brother. Why is it that you are the only one who argues with people ? Learn to respect people you don’t even know well.

    • There he goes again making daft observations and drivelling on about intellect and academia based on what yardstick? Only the chap’s witchdoctor knows.
The only suit that seems to fits you well is profanity; profanity is always and will always be the attempt of a very lazy and feeble mind to express itself forcefully.
      Enough of this!!!

    • Stu-pid is as stu-pid does indeed.I have a feeling that you have built around you some kind of false canopy thinking that you r intelligent…but hey man…. the reality is that you have failed at that.Get a life and get your butt to work…i bet you have a couple of bills to pay. All this time you are spending yapping about nonsense can be channeled to something positive.Anyway as they say never argue with a fo-ol.Am out of here lest am stoop to your level :(

    • Maxwell when did you start blogging on LT ? If only you have been here long enough you should have known by now that Mo taim always has a joke or two in his posts. It beats me that you can`t see the humor in this post.Neither can i see any tribal or racial tone in this post.I am pretty sure his post has something to do with the watch dog story. He is in order to call you stu-pid.Take a chill pill and smile.

    • Some people are so foolish and naive so iwe wachipuba you havent seen pic 28-32. Stupid iwe you are the same fools who have costed Zambia and you western province sha.

    • Coment you must be one of them retarded beings the guy is talking about lol.Believe me Zambia will forever remain poor.Don`t you think is unfair to insult people you have never met in real life ? I actually find pipo like you disgusting. You and Max must be brothers. You have the same traits of not reading between the lines.Take a good laugh and relax.

    • Oh dear me this chap is something init;there he goes drivelling again with his shallow observations; he assumes everyone works for someone to earn a living; he assumes someone needs permission to access LT. Bills? He says. He is always lost in thought — it’s unfamiliar territory. He is surely living proof that man can live without a brain!

    • Maxwell the big fool here is you.The guy didn’t wrong you in any way.Learn to zip up your mouth. Some of you chaps should be deported back to Zambia .

  3. I MISS ZAMBIA, MEN! THESE ARE SOME OF THE FEW BEST PICTURES I HAVE EVER SEEN IN THE ZAMBIAN MEDIA. KEEP IT UP, LT. COVERING THE WHOLE COUNTRY AND NOT ONLY LUSAKA, BRAVO! I HAVE STARTED PACKING UP MY BAGS- I AM COMING TO ZAMBIA TO BE PART OF THE DEVELOPMENT DRIVE. VIVA ZAMBIA. WE ARE HAPPY AND PEACE-LOVING PEOPLE AND IT CAN BE SEEN IN PICTURES.

  4. @4, FORGET ABOUT ZWD. THEY ARE PROPHETS OF DOOM. THEY WISH PF TO FAIL. MAYBE THEIR CAMERAS CAN ONLY SEE BABIES AND KIDS.

  5. Too bad for U5, Zambians from north, south, east west celebrated independence including Mongu residents. Nice pictures especially those from Mongu.!

  6. IN WHOLE HONEST, THIS WAS BEAUTIFUL. YOU ARE A FOOL TO ‘BOY’COAT THIS OCCASION. THIS WAS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATION AFTER THE 24TH OCTOBER 1964. I THINK THIS IS THE REBIRTH OF ZAMBIA, NOW. KWISA BEBELE, INE.

  7. Keep on giving us unbiased reports so that we are not cheated by the emotional ZWD. I wonder why someone can just thrive on lies and they have wowed many people. Any way, who cares about lies, the truth always comes out. That is why I love the truth

  8. Independence Day is about honouring our freedom fighters; how any patriotic self respecting Zambian can shun this important day is just selfish.

  9. Only a blind person can’t see that the response was overwhelming .Shame to HH no munakwe Pastor Kabolala.Well done PF, you have brought pride to us!

  10. If its true people went for independence celebrations in Mongu then its time ZWD learn to accept reality ad stop being evil minded anyway big up 3:45:22 PM for nice pictures!

  11. Mother Zambia’s Rebirth indeed, wonderful celebration across the country… Nomba Silvia Masebo apena Kuli Bamukabene mwebantu, pic 1 says it all,the Police Office behind is like ooh my goodness, wish it was me.

  12. Ba Zed W fimo fimo could only see street kids and school going children @ the Mongu celebrations. I think, to them, if the Litunga and his entourage does not pitch, then the celebrations didn’t happen. Those guys give themsleves too much undue credit. Shame Zed W fimo fimo.. prophets of DOOM!

  13. Me and my Irish fiance will celebrate independence when I get my MBA in Acting & Drama. My white man means so much to me!!!! I’m so sad to see Zambians smiling and happy. Development has left me behind!!! I need to come back!!!!!

    Thanks

  14. Pic#1 i bet you that Masebo shook a lot of filthy hands at the occasion and didn’t wash her hands before feeding the poor mayor with germy filthy hands.Yikes.

  15. The Mongu pictures are backrupt of those taken around the statdium. While there are some older women in one of the stands, most were children. Self Rule is coming to Bulozi bwa Luna.

    • Schizophrenia is a mental disoder characterised by a breakdown of thought processes and by poor emotional responsiveness . it most commonly features hallucinations, paranoid or bizare delusions or disorganised thinking, and it is accompanied by signifiacant social disfunction. this is what some of our Lozi and Tonga brothers suffer from.

  16. Iwe Mushota after wa fyala bana mubu hule ku UK you have nothing to do but denigrate the country you come from. Are you really at School or are your kerb crawling or putting cards in phone boxes for your clients ?

Mushota ubufi where is there a study course for MBA in Acting and Drama. Plus ukese senda utuputula utwalepuks washa kuli nkashi yobe kwa Kanyama ku Lusaka.

  17. If this was a NATIONAL celebration, why are people wearing PF regalia and PF fist? The PF did not bring independence to Zambia. Now it is clear that MMD and UPND were right to keep away.

  18. The Independence celebration is not party cadres like what happened in Mongu. Those are just few party cadres.Government officers and school children it is always that they partiicipate by force.Other tribes live in Mongu they can as well participate.those in pictures with whites came from lusaka. The truth is Mongu udults were just in their homes.

  19. the pictures of mongu are not collect. where is kabimba not shown like other ministers with the group of people? i can only see obvious mwaliteta with few soldiers and only the group of people without either kabimba or mwaliteta. there is no connection at all. those pictures where taken in kasama and lebeled mongu. what a shame

    • You seem to be one of the Cave Men at WatchMbwa. Mwaunfwa insoni ba mambala coz Lusaka Times is most times unbiased and thats why u cave pipo flock to the WatchMbwa where they feed u with trash.

  20. @Bwalya Chiselema, You seem to be one of the Cave Men at WatchMbwa. Mwaunfwa insoni ba mambala coz Lusaka Times is most times unbiased and thats why u pipo who seem to still be living in caves flock to the WatchMbwa where they feed u with trash

  21. @Bwalya chiselema
Thats because you are an adolescence; only see what you want to see!! Do kids wear suits?? Nonsense go back to sleep!

  22. @Mushota#20
You are not the real sick Mushota and I can deduce from your reasonable mature utterances that you are above the real Mushota’s below average approach in reasoning and arguments. Where ever you are Mushota and I for one do not give it a damn because I do not care for crying out loudly. There is no place better than Zambia on earth, her people, oh no, very lovely simple people and very easy to get along with. Of course they fight among each other but their fights, are on the whole non-discriminatory and peace is always reflected in almost all of arguments they indulge in. Very mind blowing.

  23. Proud of us Zambians ,celebs everywhere ,good work LT.Shame on the ones that boycoat .I have a question or has anyone observed that the president is not in the pics

  24. Check the face of the soldier behind Masebo and the mayor ,NA DABWA .Anyway lets hope ni sansa fwe PANTU TU LA CONCLUDER

    • hahahahahahhahahahah, li solder blue nalindepula! iye kalangidwe, kwati bakashi! i cant stop am cracked realy bad iyeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, kwena kudabwa uku hehehehheheheheheheheh, funniest foto ever! didnt see it after reading your comment went back to the fotos, ala nimpunda kunseko iyeeeeeee!

    • I have laughed loudly Goshhhh! He must have been very shocked to see that and he wanted to have a good look.
Its not fair she should have gone round feeding everybody. Oh poor mayor he must have been caught an awares.

  25. ALA BA WATCHDOG NIMBWA KUBUFI, ARE ALL THOSE PEOPLE IN MONGU CALLED CHILDREN? THEN IT MEANS THE WHOLE MONGU IS FULL OF CHILDREN ISN`T IT? AND IF THAT NUMBER IN MONGU ARE NOT LOZIS THE THE ALL MONGU IS FULL OF DIFFERENT TRIBES AND NOT LOZIS. BY THE WAY LOZI IS NOT A TRIBE BUT JUST LANGUAGE!!!!

  26. Shame to wild dog for reporting that Mongu boycotted celebrations. Why do they honestly tell lies?God will vindicate them. What are they trying to achieve by showing only a portion where children were seated and creating wrong picture?Awe mwe twatendwa no bufi.Viva LT for showing us pictures so timely cos the pictures have revealed the truth.God bless your unbiased reporting.

  27. PICTURE 28 THEY ALL KIDS IN MONGU.
NO PARTY SLOGANS SHOULD BE ALLOWED THAT IS WHY THE OPPOSITON SHANNED THE CELEBRATION BECAUSE IF THEY WERE GOING TO USE THEIR SYMBOLS ESPECIALLY IN LUSAKA THE PF CADRES WOULD HAVE LANDED ON THEM

  28. #35, YOU ARE RIGHT SHE WANTS TO START A THIRD WORLD WAR BECAUSE IT WILL CREATE MORE JOBS IN THE ARMY. AND THIS IS WHAT THE PEOPLE OF ZAMBIA ARE EXPECTING FROM THE PF GOVT- MORE JOBS AND MORE MONEY IN PEOPLES’ POCKETS.

  29. My observation, all the army bosses are fat, including the head, GBM, kanshi babutuka lilali. We need to reduce the budget that goes to Defence because there is no war in Zambia, apart from a few soldiers needed for peace making missions. Otherwise, balya fye no kiwina…. AND l love pic 4, its a showcase of Zambia…. Kasama picture shows the economic injustice Africa is experiencing, diaparity between the cities and our rural areas. We need to balance it, by developing and empowering the rurals. Lusaka is too saturated. Roads, schools and hospitals should be built in Mongu, Kasama Kaputa, Petauke, Mwinilunga, whatever places have left, then we can say we are developing mwe. @ LT, thanks for the pics and to all the Zambian people for uniting in the independence celebrations.

  30. @ HH and Nevers, it is your constitution right not to attend the celebration and we respect that. Know that SATA used to shun these celebrations when he was in opposition and now he is the president & he is now feeliing the heat of not uniting with the opposition in celebrating this Auguste rememberance. If we the people of Zambia decide to hire one of you to lead us, you will feel the heat of what Chiluba, Levy, Rupiah felt and Sata is now feeling…..
The lesson, know when to compromise for the good cause and to say NO to any nosense, Sata did not foresee this, now he is in State house, he now wishes that at least he should have celebrated independence with his brothers and sisters who were then ruling… It all comes to a few words, stubboness, pride self interest. :-?

  31. You had to be diehard PF fool to attend for fear of losing your job.The abasungu must have been paid to attend too otherwise they wouldn’t show such enthusiasm for an ill educated crazy president.Kweli zambia imeenda kwa PF umbwas.

  32. Pic #28 is proof that its only kids who attended or foolish adults who feared loss of job because of PF witch hunt machine.Real uhuru is only in 2016.

  33. Yes, photo No. 28 reveals that only young children filled the stadium to attend celebrations in Mongu. Children are endowed with curiosity. The adults were rare whileas the paraded bakuwa were hired by Guy Scot’s family

  34. There is a thin line between perception and truth though they are different, even with proof some people would rather leave in denial like HH, Nevers and Zambia Watch Dog and its faithful followers.

  35. I HAVE SEEN MANY CELEBRATIONS ACROSS ZAMBIA BUT THE SOLWEZI ONE WAS THE MOST ATTENDED AND ORGANISED. KEEP UP ZAMBIA.
