  1. Sad news indeed. However it is strange that the story is so conclusive that the cause of the accident was over-speeding when there seems to have been no one around to witness the accident. I assume this as the time for accident is said to have happened btwn 23hrs and 3am.

    RIP.

    • Not strange coz on radio news, the were saying “£police have confirmed having found the  the car  100m away from were he failled to negotiate the curve, cutting down the shrubs even the last tree which the vehicle hit into”

    • No the reporter makes it look like he was a witness. That is not the way you report. You leave room for doubt ala! You never say:

You say The accident MAY have been due to…..

  2. mhsrip.. he was the gigantic in the song bwela pa nyumba. you will be greatly missed.

ba LT study relative clauses ” Zambian Musician Albert Silwimba, 37, popularly known as Alubusu who died on the spot in an accident which happened on Mongu – Kalabo road”
what kind of english is this? start writting in chichewa or tumbuka

    • Never try to remove a stick in someelse’s eye when there is a log in yours. Check your spelling for “writing”. May Alubuso rest in peace. I will miss him.

    • kekeke!!! MPO naiwe, yo are a tru pf cader who doesnt reason. just like from postmoterm, pathologists are able to tell cause of death. To follow your line of thinking, a dead body doesnt talk, but it shows the signs that doctors use to come up with a diagnosis. So in this case the wreaked car had all the signs to show that the driver was overspeeding before the accident.

  3. #2 I  agree  with you these LT Journos need to  go back
to school…..very  poor sentence  constructing .This whole article still needs to be edited

  4. Were there traffic signs to indicate the sharp corner?

If NOT, the cause may well be lack of adequate signs as the speed he may have been moving at was probably ok for a straight line drive….

  5. It’s very sad for the family to lose a son, father, uncle etc at such a young age but am sorry if you drive like a mad person you surely deserve to die. Yes accidents happen but those due to rreckless driving, ichamba or alcohol intoxication are unacceptable and i got no sympathies for such. Please you who drive behave yourselves our roads are not built for testing our fast our cars can run. MHSRIP.

  6. Very sad loss. He had a good voice and his music here was certainly better than the rapping that we have been subjected too. Did he make make peace with his creator?

  7. I think the writer was mourning (crying) while writing, he just came up with all kind of imaginations!! The truth is that Alubusu died for sure.

  8. My condolences, but whoever wrote this piece sucks because your grammar is BAAAAAAAD! Dude, you should go back to scool and learn how to construct sentences.

    • I agree, the govt needs to censor some of these news sites. Can you imagine people around the world reading this sloppy reporting? Who owns LT anyway? These chaps need to step up and stop embarrassing themselves and the country.

    • You guys! we are supposed to be mourning but you making me laugh so baad! I like the idea of the govt banning websites because of poor grammar

  9. Speed kills! when are these youngsters going to learn, BMW found 100m from the tarmac this fella was doing 200km/hr on a road he isn’t familiar with.

  10. What was this chap doing in Kalabo of all places. Hope not following diamond in Angola. Remember another musician was in copper scandal on the copperbelt. music is not sustaining our artists?

  13. I dont remember his music anyway. How can someone who sings bedroom music afford a BMW car? when me a profesor in chemistry i can afford a even a madza?

    • Thats europe and all these developed countries for you my friend! While in africa young boys and gals dance in luxuries that people in europe sweat for, sometimes you wonder what all this brag about phds and diaspora sh***t really is all about!

  14. # 2 you were quick to correct LT but did you check your statement ” … he was the gigantic in the song bwela pa nyumba…….”   the gigantic what?  LT your headline is wrong the accident was on Lusaka – Mongu road not kalabo as reported. check your facts before publishing articles or stories.
