Zambia has been chosen to host the 2013 COSAFA Senior Challenge Cup.
COSAFA President Suketu Patel made the announcement on Friday when his association signed a broadcasting deal with Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) in Lusaka.
The deal will see ZNBC broadcast the tournament.
The regional championship was last held in 2009 in Zimbabwe who won the tournament after beating Zambia 3-1 in the final.
Sponsorship challenges have previously hampered the staging of the tournament.
Zambia,Congratulations
Zambia way to go with our MAN OF ACTION in the driving seat.
That is great Zambia. Make sure the area around the new stadium is cleaned up. The place looks black due to charcoal sold nearby. Also clean up the those make-shifts with plastic roofings. They are an eyesore. I know pipo are fed from there but let there be order. Anywhere thumbs up to Zambia for having been given an opportunity to host another important tournament hoping that the world wont end on 23-12-2012 according to some false prophets on History channel. You are doing great. Just make sure those army worms not to invade the stadium and eat up all the grass. Also make sure that mealie meal is availability is normalised so that our nation team can feed on nshima and katapa or rape or kalembula ne sabi or inkoko or ifishimu ot T-bone. Avoid fatty foods which gives abnormal strength.
What are the dates, we are busy people, we need to mark in our calenders… Good news, I hope by then the Kabimba-manya will be gone!!

´´ZNBC will broadcast the tournament.´´
Eish!…..That sends a cold shiver down my spine!
But they have done it nicely on Zone 6 games. Atleast they have tried. I am sure they will do better with COSAFA. Be optomist and be positive in your life.

@mwanamuchende. You trust that what HH said is authentic? He accused the PF of training the militias in Sudan just a while ago and is still going to court for that. Do you trust that what he said is true? If it is the truth then definately there is someone passing the information to the opposition and hence Winter Kabimba is right. I am not PF. Am just asking plz don,t insult me. It is goo that Zambia is hosting Cosafa. Let the PF normalise the mealie meal saga We dont want the national team to be eating chicken and chips bakanwinepo na wine, nefimikoshi fikafimbe.
And how much was this deal..why is everything a secret in Zambia?
AND WHAT IS THIS COSAFA, THING?
Levy and RB worked hard for these stadiums.Bravo to them.
Now our police should behave, the way some of them drove their vehicles while escorting the visiting youngsters to the stadia left much to be desired. Zig zagging their way in the middle of the road with not a care for other road users. What is wrong with riding in front and another at the back, hey, madam Libongani should teach them manners. I am sure the visiting youth will go and shimika in their respective countries. Let us learn to take a leaf from other countries if we really do not know what to do! Disgusted honest woman motorist!!!!!!
