  1. IYEEEEEEEEEE, my first response! i love chipolopolo and am guessing someone out there is in love with either Zambia or chipolopolo, it’s nice anyway, cant wait for Ghana’s response balatukana, just the other day i checked their soccer net, they cried foul on our late Chitalu’s challenge to Mess’s Goal rate, elo yaguwa nomba!

    • I think Ghana is becoming like Nigeria,  always thinking there are the best in Africa in everything. Mean while they more shanty towns than the all of Africa.

  2. This is not an influential magazine…let be serious…How can they put a country and a club in the same group what criteria are they using to choose a nominate and  HERVE RENARD has never played against a top 15 ranked team…his teams performances against some opponents have been questionable.

  3. Well Zambia worked hard and with God on our side, it was just plain sailing, so why doubt our being the best. God used to favor the Israelites, well this time around He favoured Zambia, and we are His creation too, joint heirs with His Son, Jesus Christ, ni all smiles chabe, there is no stopping us!!!

  4. A team can be a club or national. The question says TEAM.Understand the question thats why you fail exams. Its good to be recognised by whatever means or criteria. Why are some people born with grudges and hate?Lets celebrate our achievements once in a while.

  5. Now they will know where Godfrey Chitalu came from. They will listen to Dennis Liwewe on youtube commentaries Zambia vs Uganda (1978). They will also watch Zambia 4 – 0 Italy Seoul 1988. They will know about Kalusha Bwalya, Johnson Bwalya, Alex Chola, Peter Kaumba … Go Zambia, go! I like the UCAR photo on BBC African Football and his ball with 107 goals! (check it out yo’)

  6. Let’s celebrate tangible achievements on the pitch at the world cup where it matters and in grass-roots football in Zambia…browse through FAZ website and FB page busy on this news..well guys who is this magazine? Let’s just prep for the world cup and break records there..which are waiting to be broken by African teams…stop this campaigning for your president at every opportunity..we are only interested in the primary objective which is advancing grass roots football in Zambia.
One day it will make sense to everyone of you people what I’m trying to put across here!!
    Cheers!!

  7. its a TEAM they ar tokn about.. both clubs & countries hav teams. i didnt know that evn dull chaps bamakwela ndeke. wht eva reason u ar in the diaspora,i thik we dont need u bak home anymor coz most of yo contributions lack sense bamambala.

  8. Its a good mention but the credibility is meh. Here’s a link to the site to see how they voted: http://www.worldsoccer.com/features/world-soccer-panel-how-the-experts-voted-in-the-2012-awards

    * I would wait on FIFA rankings.

P.S Kalusha voted on this panel as well.

  9. It is amazing how “Doubting Thomases and Nay Sayers” only picks out Zambia and the orgy of demeaning comments begins! Yet they completely ignore Spain on the same list. I have never seen such a negative bunch towards their own than some Zambians are!

If the magazine is a “none-entity publication”, then why care about this list? Move on and believe in what you believe in—and I can bet my money on it, it is magazines heavily influenced by European soccer pundits because, to some of you, anything European says should be considered “sacred gospel truth.”

This was a worldwide poll conducted by the World Soccer magazine, and whoever voted, the majority thought Zambia deserves to be 2nd—at least there are people out there who regard us highly. Gosh!!!!!

  10. i thnk we deserve the recognition for our achivements ths year,we’ve been on top our game pulling out those at times even when we don’t play the best of football, remember we only lost 1 game in 2012

  11. U can ask ITALY first they wil tel you who is chipolopolo (the bullet). Coz most of you, you are too young about the history of zambian football. Dont jst talk like a mabos in a tiny.
Come Brazil 2014 world cup, ikaba yamulilo kuli AK47 NOT MULILA1
