  1. Pic 12-16…eya ya yeah ! Posya amasya iwe.Awe kwena tulechinda bwino utu tubantu.LT i give you a thumbs up for those pictures of the newly constructed prison.I was just reading about it.It is gratifying seeing the pictures.I just hope the standards will be maintained.Epashili pakuleka bane.

    • Anyone with a sane mentality and is proud of zambia is deluded
Come to Scotland, those prisons, the weather, the people make you wonder and makes me feel sorry for my parents who had to endure the hard life of living in zambia
I have no intentions EVER of coming to Zambia after seeing these pictures, how sad people are suffering, I keep pinching myself for being in Scotland and feel sorry when I see such pictures

It is moronic to be proud of anything seen here we should be sad on how low the Zambian standards are compared to the UK

      Thanks

    • @Mushota.What about closing down that pc which makes you to write nonsense here ? Uk will never be Zambia and Zambia will never be UK.Uk has come a long way to be where they are.It doesn`t make sense to me why a sane Zambian should be proud of another countries achievement.Especially the achievement that you had no hand in.You must be an educated fo-ol.

    • @ zebige, not only is she an educated fo-ool but also an educated id-iot who-le of whites. maybe the whites dont evn fc-k her coz her pu-ssy smeells too much that she cant evn mek it on the streets to be a whole

    • Mushota has just reminded me that while others work hard to live in the diaspora there are many Zambians who claim mental illness in order stay in the UK. It starts out as just acting but then they somehow just remain insane.

    • The new prison and it improved facilities cannot come at a better time than now when there is a huge expectation to have one high profile personality spend the rest of his life there.

Rupiah will certainly enjoy the comfort and serenity provided by the new prison so that he could write his memoirs.

  2. Nice pictures. Are the Dancing queens pregnant? And why write prisoner on their backs and not just a number? Nice beds for prisoners.

  3. my boyfriend has diserted me for another girl who is just a sex worker as I term because she is the one who feeds her parents yets she has no income and doesnt work. is this normal?? He knows exactly that the lady used to date one of his friends who she has a child with and another of his friends who is slicklish this time. I dont know what is happening!! i found them together at manda hill 2 days ago and he boasted that she was his new girl friend.

    • Steve you didn’t tell them the truth people here may mistake you for a woman. Tell them you are uja amene Apasa ya ku mbuyo an concentrate on you grade 9 exams

    • @ nashalaneka, you are looking for comfort in the wrong place. We were commenting on the photos above. But maybe Chikonko is too much that is why you had to say it here.
Anyway please don’t allow a muntu with two bums to treat your heart like monkey meat. Accept the situation he has eyes now for another one now. Cry and cry if you must but stay away from this guy.Release him from your mind and life. This is hard but very possible.
Probing into your rival’s history will only add to the pain. Stop watching Nigerian movies. Get busy with empowering yourself spirituality and financially, enjoy your life and a husband NOT boyfriend will surly come your way.

    • Iwe nashalaneka, why trouble yourself when there is so much fish in the sea? Forget that loser who doesnt even deserve you, i hope you are not sick, go and check your status, get a make over and start enjoying your life, imwebantu, how can your life end because of another human being who is not even man enough to break up with you? he is toying with your heart cos he knows you allow it, woman up and show him what you are made of, dont you ever give that fool a chance, you deserve that handsome guy who knows how to treat a woman, today is friday, go out with your friends please dont be a desparado just to show him that you can also manage, take your time, mean while spoil yourself and enjoy being single, you can do it, have a nice weekend.

  4. Ama comments yaba Mushota yena! I wonder if this person even exists, Mayo or is Tata, please do not go back to Zed, no one really cares and by the way, why are you always commenting on LT if you are truly not interested in knowing the happenings in Zed? Boasting na Njala!!

  5. Garry Nkombo.Sad that you had to go to all that trouble just too end up losing the parliamentary seat in a very embarrassing way.

  6. This Guy who is a murderer is so confident, even showing the ‘Zambia Forward’ symbol and yet UPND say he is not one of their own?.

  7. Pic 16, that slit on the skate should have extend a bit further up..The Boeing 737 is old fashioned: these are kind of equipment that should not be brought into Zambia. Your friends are now talking about Boeing 787, Dreamliner.

    • Boeing 737s are not old fashioned. Variants of 737s are short range planes that can be used within Zambia or on regional routes to other African countries . The 787s are long range planes that can be used for intercontinental flights eg from Zambia to the UK, US or Australia.

    • It just shows how little you understand about these aircrafts.it is the most efficient and widely used aircraft to have been ever made.

  8. I hope RENARD IDENTIFIED SOME TALENT IN CHIPATA, MORE ESPECIALLY KELVIN CHOMBA AND FASHIO SAKALA yaba but chipata pipo also ati Fashion then futi what is bemba thief doing in chipata uyu kelvin chomba, olo maybe nimwana wamuchigololo the father is bembAa and mother ngoni but he never cared for the boy

  9. The prison looks nice, but lucks security arrangement, it looks as if its a secondary school infact much better than Government bordig schools, so wont these prisoners ESCAPE from their

  10. Picture 5 is very touching to me. i feel sorry for those men. i know some of them have done the most horrible things to others and deserve to be in there. But oh my God to be a prisoner in Zambia must be lowest point you can ever reach in your life. Hunger, disease, abuse and the stench/site of human waste are your constant companion. It is hell on earth. A life of crime does not pay for sure.

  11. LT Writers/Reporters are sometimes just lazy. Describing someone as wearing green without distiquising which clothing when both parties in the pictures have green on.

Is this a display of work ethics in Zambia, we do the bare minimum or less to get by?

  12. PICTURES 22, 23 AND 24- IS THIS THE LIVINGSTONE PREPARING FOR UNWTO ASSEMBLY IN LESS THAN SIX MONTHS? WHAT PREPARATIONS HAVE THEYDONE TO LIVINGSTONE IF THE POTHOLES ARE STILL THERE AND CAN’T SEE ANY PUBLIC TOILET IN TOWN?

  13. Zebinge Mushota is so useless please don’t worry about her, trust me she may come from a very poor family and if you see the nick she talks about the guy must be those useless white people.
I am a Zambia living in the UK and trust me there is no place like home if feel sorry for this fool mushota

  14. Mwembeshi maximum security prison…..am imprest, but give it 5 years it will be something else am telling you.

  15. I always feel sad when i see the pictures on LT, very few fotos warm me up, it reminds me of how people are suffering and it will always be like that, 95% of the population will till hard to their dying day, i really few sad, may God help these men and women, anyway, no one said life is easy, atleast they can go back home and sleep, unlike those women and children torn btwn wars created by greedy men in Syria, what a world!

  16. kwena icho chi mushota ninkoko saan, I like in uk too but I love my country zambia, poor or rich i was born there, whats the point of praising uk where u have nothing to show for it, you are probably on benefits living in a council flat, get a life loser!!!

  17. Looking at the pictures of the prime suspect in the recent violence resulting in the unfortunate death of a member of the ruling PF, I am finding it hard to get my head round how the Electoral Commission could have possibly declared the election in Livingstone free ad fair. To say the guy looks like he is not showing an iota of remorse is an understatement, he is looking positively defiant in the face of such serious allegations against him. Then the guns blazing judge ngoma stories we have heard, followed by the extraordinary appearance of the just elected MP at parliament barely hours after being elected, have we deteriorated to such a state that such deplorable displays can be completely ignored in the conduct of elections? I am beyond words as reading these incredible developments.

  18. Shamenda, how do you inspect second hand cars from dubai, they wont last somebody chewed from and its like you are justifying

  19. Pic #22.

Some Angolan towns looked like that after the war. I couldn’t believe it was actually our tourist capital looking so barren and war torn.

  20. @ Mushota, find something better to do rather than comparing a developing nation with a super power. Any educated and civilised person would understand the difference. You just show how shallow minded you are and I often wonder why someone in their right mind would always have something negative to talk about the country in which they were born. Please, talk constructive things to help our mother Zambia. It is not easy, but positive and encouraging words go unnoticed. Please, come back to your senses as you are embarrassing yourself.
