Chipolopolo deputy coach Honour Janza has predicted a tough game when Zambia face Lesotho in this weekend’s 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier away in Maseru.
Janza said Zambia, who set up camp in South Africa on Sunday, are wary of Lesotho ahead of the Group D fixture.
He said Chipolopolo must be focused as they prepare for this match.
Janza disclosed that the former African champions are targeting a good result in Maseru.
“It will be tough. No team shall give Zambia a chance to win. All the games will be tough,” he said.
“We have to remain focused as a team and the boys know what is at stake,” Janza added.
“All the time we look at getting good results, we have to ensure that we get positive results.”
Zambia leads Group D with six points while second placed Ghana have three points. Lesotho and Sudan sit on a point each.
Nobody cares about Chipolopolo anymore they are a bunch of failures who got eliminated @ the group stage in AFCON!
Chipolopolo i care big time!! So ba Don speak for yourself please. Can’t wait for the game this weekend. Go Chipolopolo Go!
you chap speak for yorself you kind of chaps who dont think not all days xmas learn to appriciate
Chi colour.
I do, so learn to speak for yourself, I dont think you are anybody’s spokesperson
On a serious note, let’s get serious: no one gives a funk about the chikolopelo boys, sorry my bad,I meant to say Chipolopolo boys(and where the hell did they come up with such a weird name?).Now, look at that PF’S communist stupid fanatic face like ‘what in the hell is this blogger talking about?
It can only be one called ‘DEATHROW-RECORDS’ who can write such nosense.
You see people,it is high time we learned that there are no weak teams nowadays so don’t expect Lesotho to be kind to Zambian team.we should take every game serous like never before, i mean look at Ghana beating the so called Lesotho 7:0 you can tell that they are a serous team.Chipolopolo should beat Lesotho by at least 5 goals to see them to Brazil.
BaDo Jay,nga mwatemwa volleyball stop talking about chipolopolo. You only support when the teams wins, please focus on volleyball leave soccer to us, all the best chipolopolo.
Mr. Dep Coach why the hell accept defeat before the game? How can Lesotho be tough for Chipolopolo. They have over the years been mince meat for Zambia whether at home or away. ‘Stand and sing of Zambia… proud a free…… Land of work and joy in Unity……..’ So wake up mr. coach and stand up. Who is Lesotho ???
” Imani timtamandeee Zambia…. dziko la Chimwemwe ndi umodzi…….”
Viva Chipolopolo………. Viva.
The coach is right, you underate any team at your own peril. Lesotho is a stubborn team at home. Ask Cameroun and you will understand what I am saying. Didn’t Zambia fail to beat Lesotho in Maseru in 2001 or 2002? Be wary of the so called small teams.
Brazil 14 here we come…!!
My own concern is still the ‘crop’ of strikers we have at the moment, they are not aggressive as they should be and we seem to be stuck with the same guys, in all honest unless something is done we are doomed. I want see something done with our strikers. Lets GO Zambia!
the lesotho match is a must win to boost our hopes. there is no need to aim at scoring many goals beacuse that will cloud our focus. what is important is the three points no matter the score line. let put the performance of the chipolopolo at the last afcon in south africa behind us.
