Nkana Wait on Kangwa Deal

Share

The prospective transfer of Zambia striker Evans Kangwa from Nkana to Spanish second division side Recreativo da Huelva is said to have been delayed due to administrative reason.

Kangwa, who has been in Spain since late January, is still waiting for Nkana and Huelva to conclude neotiations after he passed trials last month.

Nkana secretary Ken Mwansa confirmed that the two clubs are yet to reach an agreement.

“He (Kangwa) is still in Spain, he has passed trials and all we are waiting for is an agreement.

“The team (Huelva) has changed hands in terms of ownership that is what has caused the delay,” Mwansa said on Wednesday.

Kangwa was supposed to attend trials at English championship side Watford early in January but the plan flopped.

  1. Ok our team, as much as I wanted Evans and Kampamba to be in our team this year, we must not stop them. When Evans was very hot we never used him in the national team and I think that is how we lose opportunity to make great players. Come on Nkana, let not the usual transfer failures we have seen in the past few months dog our players too. We look forward to producing another Kelvin Mutale. Go Evans! Go Nkana!

  2. Iye, did Nkana produce Kelvin Mutale or was produced by Nitrogen Stars club in Kafue? I am Nkana support, but i dont think Kelvin came from youth ranks at Nkana. I agree if you meant producing another Kelvin as a national.

  3. I think he should go back to Zambia, we don’t want another embarrasment of SUNZU he couldn’t speak english when the Club manager asked him some questions he was just saying YES and smiling everytime.

  4. As long as Kalu is not involved this is a good opportunity for Evans. Marks my words he is going to succeed in Spain more than Mayuka who is wasting away in England, i pity the young the man somebody help him move to France or Germany soon.

  5. One Vic, off course Kelvin Mutale played his amateur football at Nitrogen Stars but its us Nkana who brought out the best from the player. Had he continued at Nitrogen or any other nonentity clubs his skill would have died a natural death. You should understand that some clubs and their coaches have the ability to nature a player into world class star. That could only be found at Nkana under the coaching style of Moses Simwala.

  6. One Vic Nkana turned Kelvin into a prolific unstoppable striker he was and not Nitrogen. … and that is what I meant my brother.

  7. #3 please don’t insult Sunzu. Sunzu completed high school and was a member of the Zambia schools where he competed yearly. Why do you like spreading foolishness?

  8. ONE VIC, LEARN TO ASK BEFORE YOU TALK ANYTHING ABOUT THE TIMES OF GOOD NKANA FOOTBALL THAT HAD TO PUT THINGS RIGHT WHEN IT CAME TO ZAMBIAN FOOTBALL. PRINCE KELVIN HAD TO COME OUT AS A PROLIFIC ZAMBIAN STRIKER AFTER BEING TAUGHT HOW TO BE GREAT BY THE KING HIMSELF MOSES SIMWALA.

  9. KANGWA HAS PACE, HE IS INTELLIGENT AND HAS THE FOOTBALL SKILL WE ARE LOOKING FOR. ALL HE NOW NEEDS IS TO BE ACCUSTOMED TO THE SPANISH ATMOSPHERE AND SOON OUR NATIONAL TEAM WILL HAVE ONE OF THE DEADLY FUTURE STRIKERS WE NEED TO RESTORE OUR HOPES OF LIFTING THE AFRICAN CUP OF NATIONS ONCE AGAIN. GO KANGWA GO, WE ARE WATCHING CLOSELY

  10. KULI ONSOYO TAMBA BOLA, ENA ALISHIBA ATI BANKANA FIPOLOPOLO. By the way do you know that we are the original owners of the name “cipolopolo”. NALELO EE BA NKANA BA WINNER, NALELO EE BA DEVIL BA WINNER. Long live Kalampa.
