Rainford Kabala lit-up what was a rather modest weekend for Zambia’s foreign legion.
The TP Mazembe midfielder recorded a brace and won a penalty for the DR Congo giants on Sunday in a 6-0 home win over Mochudi Centre Chiefs of Botswana in a CAF Champions League tie to see them advance 7-0 on aggregate to book a second round date against Orlando Pirates.
Kalaba was on target in the 6th and 34th minutes after winning a penalty in-between his two goals that teammate Tresor Mputu converted.
Elsewhere, striker Jacob Mulenga of Dutch club FC Utrecht played 90 minutes in the sixth placed clubs 1-0 home win over ninth positioned side ADO Den Haag but was not on target.
In Portugal, defender Emmanuel Mbola did not make the lineup for Porto reserves 2-nil home win over FC Arouca on Sunday.
It was the same situation for his namesake in England where striker Emmanuel Mayuka did not travel for Southampton’s 2-0 away win over Reading on Saturday.
And in Romania, striker Fwayo Tembo started for second place Astra in their 2-1 home loss over Cluj on Friday but was substituted in the 47th minutes.
In China, striker James Chamanga had another quiet for fifth placed Liaoning Whowin in their 1-1 home draw against 11th positioned Shanghai
Shenxin on Saturday before he was substituted in the 84th minute.
Meanwhile, in the Chinese second Division, Zambia captain and striker Christopher Katongo started for leaders and promotion chasers Henan Jianye.
However, Katongo did not score in their 2-1 away win over fifth placed Guangdong before he was substituted in the 85th minute.
many thanks for the info.
Where is ROJAS KOLA
TP Mazembe is a real team. You can insult Congolese but you should know that our Zambian players are well paid there and they will never leave TP Mazembe for a Zambian local club like Zanaco…maybe for an English side.
where is sunzu now?
Chris Katongo plays in second division kanshi?
Else where Colllins Mbesuma scored for Pirates in 0.7secs time
well done young man
I hope this Pro Hit List is a start of a new trend on LT every Monday, we need to updated…keep it up!!

Tracking the activities of All our foreign based players Is a very good idea. But going by this report, am afraid it’s not looking too good for most of them. As for Mayuka, the young man is going stale due to lack of game time. He’d benefit from his team loaning him out to a side that can give him more game time otherwise we’ll soon find himself knocking at the doors of South African, Chinese, TP Mazembe or Zambian teams!

Only hope Kalaba will be in good form for the Chipolopolo now ! When he plays well , the whole team looks better ! It’s like things revolve around him ! He has been a bit off in the last few games !
