Alliance for Better Zambia leader Father Frank Bwalya says attacks on the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) by Patriotic Front led by Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba is part of a scheme to replace ECZ chairperson Justice Ireen Mambilima and other critical staff at the commission with PF cadres.

Fr Bwalya in a statement released to QFM says the PF wants to do this in line with their party constitution article 3 which states; “The Party shall ensure that all public institutions, State-owned enterprises and popular mass and similar organizations are led by persons who are members of the Party and who are uncompromisingly committed to achievements of the Party”.

He says the PF has realized that Justice Mambilima and her staff cannot be used to promote the interests of their party.

He adds that the public should expect more PF officials from various parts of the country joining attacks calls started by Mr Kabimba on the ECZ.

Fr Bwalya furthers states that the PF plans to do the same with the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) which has of late exhibited elements of fair and objective coverage of dissenting views.

He says such machinations should not work, and that Zambians should oppose them and ensure that they protect the integrity and autonomy of ECZ and other state institutions.

The ABZ leader adds that allowing the PF to install their cadres at ECZ will mean forgetting about free and fair elections and getting prepared for unprecedented anarchy in Zambia.

    • I don’t think so my friend. You’ve got to taste a pig to know that the meat is bad. So he spat it. That is why he knows the party constitution. It a democracy so no harm for the people that like it too. And its up to us Zambians also to decide weather we continue this meal or not. At this rate I don’t know how long this legacy will last. This looks like it will be the greatest fall from grace second to Lucifer. Am just saying!!!

    • The man has simply grabbed the bull by its horns, by referring to their constitution. I can bet you that Justice Mambilima is a honourable woman who can simply excuse herself from her functions if pushed too far. She resisted Rupiah’s alleged attempt to manipulate the poll, and now she’s being just with the PF.
This woman deserves considerable respect unlike the naked Winter swimmer.

  1. Mother Bwalya, Elias Chipimo, Nevers Mumba ….Gentlewomen, if you shut up for minute you may just clear your heads and have a vision for Zambia that you can actually execute.

    • @Nubian chick, I didn’t know you are such a shootist!!!! Lol. Kwena wa shooter!!!! Anyway, we are truly tired of these pretenders. Let them go and hang with their lies, these unscrupulous characters. Shame upon them, indeed..!

    • @Tungathuzebiwe, you do not sound like a princess at all. Nubian princesses are bright upstairs. Change your name to “Nubian Cadre.”

  2. So this priest is throwing oil on fire why? what kind of leaders are these kanshi? always instigating fights, hate speeches accusing finger, what do you intend to achieve from this, you must have been S………. starved your chemically imbalanced somewhere, seek help it’s not too late!

    • You are spot-on my dear! That just goes to show that they are not worthy to even be called prospective leaders, these useful i.diots!!

    • U’re one of those that want to know of what has already happened (which you have no chance to prevent), instead of seeing whats coming ahead and bracing yourself. In literal terms, you lack foresight hence do not value analytical assumptions!

  3. Cindy nobee! Ala tawikala muno to feel the heat wesu. Let these pipo talk. Maybe PF will look at us electorates with sympathy. Batineko fye wee.

    • But my dear Zambia is in desperate need of development. We can afford to have COMEDIANS like ‘mother’ Frank Bwalya to be every day yapping at the expense of development, thereby dragging the country backwards. Let them visit a hospital-they’l be given medicine to stop their VERBAL DIARRHEA…!

    • Iwe cikala, PF has only been in power for less than 2 years-where was ci Mambilima when all the RUBBISH/ CORRUPTION was going on under MMD??? Where was she or why was she quiet?

  4. Timely advise from Fr Bwalya. Evil can never defeat light. what fr bwalya is saying will definately come to pass. The PF camp is now in panic mode.

    • What Father Bwalya is saying is right but replacing ECZ officials will not come to pass.

PF needs direction and just deliver, if not they get voted out. Simple reasoning

  5. The writing is clearly on the wall. A number of illiterate PF cadres together with their educated fools are queing up to replace the Mamblimas and Isaacs at ECZ. Don’t argue because the electoral code of conduct as read with the republican constitution is very clear – Mpezeni and ZNBC broke the law. ECZ has interpreted the law to illiterate PF but they can’t reason. Why? Because they are illiterate, intellectually challenged. That’s why Winter’s LLb is always questioned.

  6. your friend HH is keeping a low profile, he is already in state house out those last week two parliamentary seat

  7. Fr. Bwalya is a loser. Temporary setback in last by-elections does not make PF unpopular. PF is working to create infrastructure, dispensing with the rigmaroles and inefficiencies of subsidies. Fr. Bwalya is frustrated and blabbering.

  8. father bwalya, you right. Of late , i have high respect for Irene Mambilima not chi chibesakunda shi!!t.
The will of the people always prevails.
HH should start lobbying for support abroad too. Should visit UK, USA, Japan, Brazil, china and hold meetings there. When he talks to such audience they will realise his intelligience and when they compare him to sata the latter will be no march.
Fr Bwalya again apologise to copperbelt people and ask to do away with fake PF.

  9. Who doesn’t know lsaac and Mambilima have always worked against Mr Sata and pf?Can pf begin to sweep everywhere please .let stumbling brokes be wiped out completely.lf they were telling the truth ,its okey but since it is 0 lies let them go.

    • Osmore, your more immediate concern should be your own education. Invest the time you spend spewing sh!t on here on your own personal growth.

Who the hell says “stumbling BROKES”, even worse WRITES it?!

The intended meaning doesn’t even redeem you at all because it’s also crap.

    • Democracy or indeed elections in this Country have nothing to do with pleasing UKWA and his minions or not. We really don’t care about them anyway, but the Zambian people.

All ECZ officials will remain there whether Ukwa likes it or not. How I wish we can have another Justice Mambilima as Chief Justice as well.

  10. That statement from the PF constitution cited by the priest here shows it was engineered to encourage nepotism and boot-licking of the highest order – people should be employed on merit not just because they are family, close associates, party cadres or close allies! Truly, this Zambia is the real Africa.

  11. The plain truth is that Wynter Kabimba’s unintelligent outbursts contributed to the devastating loss of PF in recent by-elections. Kabimba’s attacks on Mangani worked against the PF chances in Chipata.

Kabimba is just shifting the blame from the PF Secretariat to the ECZ. Yet Justice Mambilima is in her current position with the knowledge and blessings of the Republican President. Kabimba is a python that has invaded State House, and that the longer he stays at the PF’s Secretariat and Ministry of Justice this will signal a fast downfall of PF nationwide. It is high time State House was alert to Kabimba’s manipulations to build a Lenje-Sala-Soli dynasty.

  12. Madam Mambilima, serve the people of Zambia and may God give you direction and courage to execute your duties. Thumbs up!!!

  13. Has PF said they want to fire Mambilima? She would have gone already. This Politics and as a ruling Party, we keep on defending against political marauders.HH is dreaming having gone Ku State house. 2016 is different and come on the copperbelt and you will be shocked that your dreams are far fetched. The the performance in the last by elections and you will agree that PF has made in roads in areas where they had no support.
