PATRIOTIC Front (PF) Secretary General Wynter Kabimba has threatened to dissolve more provincial leaderships if they remain inactive and divisive.
The Central Committee of the PF, last week, dissolved party leaderships in Eastern and Copperbelt provinces for alleged poor results recorded in recently held by-elections in Chipata and Kafulafuta.
Mr Kabimba has since directed the party leadership in Southern Province to work hard in order to scoop the looming by-election in Sinazongwe Constituency.
Mr Kabimba who is Justice Minister was speaking in Choma on Sunday during a meeting with hundreds of party members at Leon’s conference hall attended by Southern Province Minister Daniel Munkombwe.
“If we lose the Sinazongwe seat then, there will be no need to have you as the PF leadership in Southern Province because you have not delivered and worked hard to win this looming by-election.
“If I were you, I would work hard night and day to make our party stronger and reap the benefits later. We need more seats from this province during 2016 tripartite elections,” he said.
Mr Kabimba said the decision made by the Central Committee to dissolve the party leadership in Eastern and Copperbelt provinces should be an eye opener to other structures countrywide to work hard.
He said the Central committee would stump out indisciplined members including those frustrating the continued positive gains that had seen Zambia recording impressive developmental achievements in all sectors.
“I am here for serious business and I want to urge you to protect our party and don’t let other people destroy it. You should remain disciplined and loyal to your party if you want to succeed,” he said.
Mr Kabimba warned that the central committee would not tolerate members working against the party but that they should help highlight the good policies Government was delivering to the people of Zambia.
He said party members should not desire to be given jobs from Government when they were not contributing vastly to the expansion of the party in line with President Michael Sata’s developmental vision.
He said Mr Sata was running an all inclusive Government citing the recent appointment of former Railway Systems of Zambia (RSZ) director Clive Chirwa who was a UPND member but was appointed to manage the affairs of RSZ because of his credible skills in revamping the railway sector.
On remarks by former Sports Deputy Minister Chinga Miyutu who resigned alleging that joining PF Government was a mistake, he said, the UPND Kalabo MP’s report was baseless with no direction.
As usual Kabimba is busy chewing his own abdomen without remorse. People are no longer interested in your continued lies. Continue with your threats and it won’t be long before your party folds up and be dust bin material. You behave like a patient under local anasthesia who says he fine yet his abdominal contents are spread all over the environment.
Kabimba please we plead with you twa papata- shut these non performing provincial committees. Ha,ha Alleluia goodby PF.
PF seem to have pressed the panic buttom and this guy is even making it worse… Should the opposition win the coming by-elections we shall see self distraction mode accelerate
They took people for granted and thought their popularity was granted
Did he get a police permit to meet with his party leadership?
Some people would have been in jail for that.
There is a silly law called the Public Order Act that exempts Ministers from requiring Police clearance to hold public meetings.
PF is disintegrating faster than I thought. I would encourage Kamimba to dissolve ALL Provinces. You are welcome .
kekekeke..then you will fire the SP,Eastern again and Western leaderships..coz you are losing..kekekekekeee
I hope ba GONENA will not be back any time soon. Anyone remmbers these fellas we once called BAGONENA?
Consider the Southern Province Committee dissolved. You are not winning the elections unless you rig like your Muppet Bob in Zim.
The implosion of PF has began. This is time for the opposition to get organized and win back more seats in parliament. Let the PF majority only exist in State House and Zambia’s foreign missions.
Panic Attack!!!
PF members need to wake and stop Kabimba from destroying your party. How can he say he will dissolve the provincial committees if they lose when he knows they are losing in Southern Province and Petauke? The issue is not about weak Provincial Committees it is about the people and the promises PF made. It is about the policies, the PAYA FARMER and the leading the country into dictatorship as seen by the friendship with rogue states. These are the issues which needs to be addressed.
History can easily be forgotten! People remember how the then Secretary general of MMD was made to clean the party and ended up cleaning himself. Kabimba is equally doing the same. You are on the cleaning conveyor bwana. Wake up.
Alowa msala tsopano a Kabimba. Those executives you want to fire were your trusted fellows. Who are u going to trust this time around. Kicks of a dying horse indeed. Mwasokonezeka simudziwa cochita a Kabimba. Instead you must be replaced in the PF and we are waiting mfana……… tsegula maso.
Alowadi a chimwene. Alumewa na njuchi za a opposition.
Every single thread above has spoken the same language, I wonder, is the PF in turmoil?
Kabimba take a chil pill. Kusabaila kwati ni pregnant woman with a toothache sure! Respect the us electorates bwana. Firing provincial, district or national p.f leaders will worsen the already diminished popularity ya p.f. 2016 ukamwenako u arrogant bastard.
