THE COPPERBELT University (CBU) Senate has set September 8, 2013 as the opening date for the institution.

Registrar Allan Ilunga announced the development in a statement in Kitwe yesterday saying the Senate at its meeting on Monday agreed to have the institution re-opened.

CBU was prematurely closed over a week ago following students’ disturbances that rocked the campus.
