    • Journalist, kuti? `journalist` to do radio drama?
PF can do better than that!! and the party needs to start rebranding now,,.. some of these deaths presents opportunity for change!!!!

    • So who will be doing ifyabukaya now?

      This appointment is frivolous.

Word to Sata – Rule the country with your head not with your faulty heart.

    • @Paolo, don’t try and justify your illiteracy. It is not HH’s problem that you have failed to take advantage of the resources in the U.S. to further your education.

    • Hahahahaha….Mop!! Anything that is true hates. Did you know that the richest or wealthiest pipo in the world are not educated? Educated pipo are just confortable and are not good in Governance issue. Do you think professor Chona can make a good president?

    • Another BEMBA… Actually two more BEMBA’s. Sata’s PF government is truly a govt of Kolwestans (BEMBA’s) by Kolwestans for Kolwestans. Bloggers like Nubian princes and Cindy are also Kolwestans. Kwakwe is also a Kolwestan. Bembas this is your chance to show the rest of the country how brilliant you are. If you fail to deliver (and I believe you will fail) then there will be no doubt that Bemba’s do not have the mental wherewithal to deliver meaningful development for Zambia. You are a tribalistic group, your days of denial of this fact are over!!!!

    • @Paolo, the word is “hurts” and not “hates.” And the world is also full of examples of uneducated leaders, who have failed their countries through bad Governance. Why do wealthy people employee the educated? The answer is simply because they do recognize the value of the education endowment in the person they hire. Otherwise, they could easily employ any one from the street like you.

    • Damnt.. am late.
This is the best!!!!!! Now truely PF will be doing IFYABUKAYA!
This is hilarious!!!! Look how many comments Mwansa Kapeya has attracted in 1hr….
In-fact he has the best of Chiluba’s spokesperson Mwamba as assistant… Halleluja.

    • @The Bricklayer
The idea here is to know how to get it(go getting ability)Sata is a go getter who got what he wanted. But what to do with what you get is entirely another matter. Probably, people who would ‘know’ what to do with what they get, Miyanda, HH, etc have no go getting abilities. Look at how silent they are when they are supposed to be capitalising on PF’s @#ups. Note please how Sata made a fuss of every little thing MMD did. The script of how Sata made it to state house is there for all to copy and paste. Tribe isn’t the issue here.

    • @Wantashi,
You are are correct that Sata was better at playing the game of politics than HH and Mumba are, even better than Mazoka for that matter. But where you are wrong is when you say tribe has nothing to do with this. Tribe has everything to do with how Sata governs. Remember he is now governing, he is not only playing politics. Sata’s tribalism has been very blatant. It is in your face type of tribalism. Look at how he has brought back holdovers from the corrupt era of Chiluba. Look at the Boby bwalya’s and xavier chungu’s of this world. The Emmmanuel Mwamba’s of this world. All these felas are Bembas. If you are Bemba, it may not be easy to see the tribalism that is going on here. But if you are NOT Bemba, I can bet my dollar, that everyone who is not Bemba can see it.

  1. We thought he would use this rare opportunity to balance his tribal cabinet but alas, he has only gotten bembas to fill the two vacant positions. Who doubted that Sata is running a tribal government? This is your chance.

    • Spot on. One can clearly see that these tribalists think they are the only worthy Zambians. Yet we all know how incompetent many of them are. PF rule may turn out to be worse than that of Chiluba.

    • Be wise fellow Zambians this is no time to mention tribalism.HE MC Sata is in order to appoint who ever he wants to work with he has not broken the law. Some of you you want to reap where you have not sown. You never supported PF you used to insult the President now you want positions no chance wait for your time if it will co e as for now its PF in Govt.

  2. ati “Ummh eeehhhm. We have lost a man in Sakeni. He will be very difficult to replace. We don’t know how on earth we’ll manage without him”

  3. Vincent Sakeni was going to be better than Mwansa Kapeys, why not wait for the young lad?? Kapeya is a fyabukaya man and Kabusha thing at Radio one…

  4. why not Lubinda? plz our president we want Lubinda back in the cabinet. anyway, im happy for kalaba coz we stl have a represetative in the cabinet.

-iwe, kund kunda check this out.

  6. You Guys amaze me. I do not know what kind of Eduction you have. The thing is we do not know about you. we only hear about you when you are pointing at people you feel are not educated. Do you know that there is Education On line?

  7. I like this,Given has been taught a lesson he will never forget,he thought by yapping from this angle to that angle would bring his ministerial position back.Given should even be thankful that his suspension was lifted.2016,i doubt if he will ever be adopted on PF ticket. He will be dumped like toilet paper.Chakulila Given.

    • @Big giant?? Learn to forgive and forget. So who is being taught a lesson?? SATA or the Zambian people??? Let’s think beyond hate. Lubinda is a much better MP who can truly add value and make a difference. Side-ling him just does not do any good for Zambia. We need people who can help move Zambia forward??? Not puppets “VIMA YES BWANA” who cannot even oppose the President on facts. Be a real Big-giant at your heart.

  8. First Impressions are very important. I don’t know the man but he looks Stone Age. This means ZNBC and all other Medias will still remain in the past. SATA you mean We don’t have Younger MPs to take over? These OLD Fox will finish our country. I am honestly developing a Phobia for these old papas. When do they retire and let Young Zambians also contribute. Degree or Grade 7 makes no difference. He cannot MAKE, CREATE or INNOVATE. We need to advocate for 2 Term Limit and Age on MPs / Ministers.

    • I think the mistake our president and most presidents make is that the appoint a gov’t spokesman first like the late Sakeni was and not a minister of information with progressive ideas to take us forward…in fact the whole idea of moving forward especially in the media scares these old men in the ruling gov’t.

    • @ Jay Jay, Spot on, a very sad affair. Was surprised to learn that Zambia was one of the 1st African Countries to have Radio & TV, before South Africa, Kenya and Zimbabwe to mention a few. Looking at our geographical positioning, If we were serious, would have been the hub for satellite TV / communication. But here we are, in Reverse gear, doing the opposite and have the worst TV services ever. Because our old papas, just don’t see the need and dead scared as you mentioned.

    • We have remained stagnant whilst our progressive colleagues countries like Kenya are making big strides, just compare the structure of the government of the new president of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta. It means business;

      1. Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government.
      2. Ministry of Devolution and Planning.
      Other ministries are:
      3. Defence.
      4. Foreign Affairs.
      5. Education which will have the Department of Education and Department of Science and Technology.
      6. The National Treasury.
      7. Health.
      8. Transport and Infrastructure which will have the Department of Transport Services and the Department of Infrastructure.
      9. Environment, Water and Natural Resource.
      10. Land, Housing and Urban Development.
      11. Information, Communication and Technology (ICT)

    • 12. Sports, Culture and the Arts.
      13. Labour, Social Security and Services.
      14. Energy and Petroleum.
      15. Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries under which are the Department of Agriculture, Department of Livestock and Department of Fisheries.
      16. Industrialization and Enterprise Development.
      17. Commerce and Tourism which has the Department of Commerce and Department of Tourism.
      18. Mining.

  9. lubinda is now treated like scotch-kala, you do not associate with illiterates and hope to change them to think like literates. impossible. enjoy the ride zayellow till 2016 when you can make a wise decision, if you are capable to do that. meanwhile, comedians are on the stage as govt. ba chikwanda civil servants salaries-you thought september will never come eeh, just like sata thinks death will never reach him, hence no grooming of a successor

    • Don Corleone, people here a just calling a spade a spade. Do you honestly think Mwansa Kapeya can revolutionize the information platform in Zambia, I can bet the last ngwee the man can not even browse or use smart phone. Not that he’s dull but these things are just not in his generation.

    • Don Corleone, people here a just calling a spade a spade. Do you honestly think Mwansa Kapeya can revolutionize the information platform in Zambia? I can bet the last ngwee the man can not even browse or use smart phone. Not that he’s dull but these things are just not in his generation.

    • Please forgive Don Corleone to him working is making loud noise like one BUFFOON called Chisimba Kambwili or the late Sakeni. These people make noise in the streets and media but you never see them put forward progressive policies in Parley. Sadly these are the sort of leaders in Zambia we hold in high esteem.

  10. Awesome !!! I like this man.One of the few who can beat me when it come to our traditional parables and sayings.Awe nakalebalika yama.

  11. Things are getting interesting!!!! Proper Ifyabukaya panwe isonde!! I saw Mwansa Kapeya’s farm somewhere in Mpika as we were coming from Tunduma.

    • Which part of Mpika is that? I haven’t been to Mpika in 20 years. I hope that town is still beautifully small like in the past.

  12. This is the 20% of ZWD’s sources that gets it wrong; ZWD was vouching for Lubinda for this position. But then again we can live with that.

  13. I always wonder why people criticize others on political appointments or Leadership? All human beings are equal in GODS eye regardless educated or not. So join them and see what your degrees will offer the nation! Epompelele…

  14. I cant wait for 2016 to see PF being divided. All this nonsense it shows how immature people there, at least Mr SATA as done well so far so good, now Ba Minister bakwe fipuba, ama shilu, Congratulation Mr SATA your name is already noted in the Zambian history.

  15. Another day Another BEMBA… Actually two more BEMBA’s.

  16. You think they say ‘tu lemiteka’ for nothing! They are in the maize field and there is nothing you can do about it.

    • @ Mwansa. You are so igorant for some one with that name. There are Bembas and Bisa in Mpika. In Mpika Chief Chikwanda, Mpepo and Luchembe are Bemba – even Google will tell you that. Also look at the tribal map of Zambia. History will also tell you that several senior chief Nkulas of Chinsali have come from chief Chikwanda.

  17. You don`t need to have a degree, masters or whatever to serve in P.F government. All you need to have is a correct name like Mwansa, Mwenya, Chanda and so on. Its a government by kolwestans for kolwestans.

  18. The appointing authority prefers very old people, who are illeterate and are from one tribe or party of the country. We need a free and democratic Zambia where there is justice and all are treated equal.

    • In all fairness what options has the president got if that is what is in front of him? Do you want him to poach from others? He can only reshuffle the same dog-eared cards over and over again.

  19. So ninshi only bembas will ever be ministers in this government? and yet you get shocked when other tribes don’t vote for you in bye elections. Tribalism at its worst

  20. Can someone compile and publish the composition of the Zambian cabinet? The the nation will understand why none Bemba’s feel these appointmens are not representative of Zambia.

    • The trouble is that you confuse Bembas and Bemba speaking people. For instance, Kalaba is from Luapula and therefore not Bemba although he may speak Bemba.

    • @Mutale, I respect ur view. From an anthropological view point I guess most of us can distinguish Bemba’s from Ushi or N’gumbo’s, however generally when someone uses the generic term Bemba it is understood to encampus tribes of northern, Luapula, and parts of north central and copperbelt. Just as when the bemba’s claim their Ngoni cousins, they generically include nsenga’s, chewa, tumbuka, chikunda etc. I don’t want to come across as being tribal but in all honesty the composition of the cabinet is not representative of the countries population distribution.

    • @Mfumu you’ve got it wrong, copperbelt province is not a Bemba speaking province it’s Lamba land ,Bembas have only infested it due to mining and other commercial activities.Name one Bemba chief on the copperbelt?None.People speak Bemba because they can just you speak and write English but you are not English and will never become one.

    • @Ba Kolwe; unless you didnt get my proviso; that being that anthropologically Bemba’s are a distinct ethnic grouping but in the general context there is a loose usage which connorts affiliated tribes. I know the Copperbelt is inhabited by the Lamba’s etc and there are no Bemba chiefs there. When push comes to shove this distinction is only highlighted when there is something at stake, just as when Sata is labled as Bisa and when it suits an occassion he is Bemba. Having said this, the issue is that the cabinet does not reflect the population distribution of the country, not even based on education levels.

  21. @BRICKLAYER

BEMBAS, KIKUYUS, BEMBAS, KIKUYUS…IF BEMBAS OR KIKUYUS WILL FORM 95% OF MPS IN GOVERNMENT, WHERE WILL ANYONE GET MINISTERS?

LET US CHANGE THE CONSTITUTION FROM PARLIAMENTARY RULE TO PROPORTIONAL REPRESENTATION LIKE SA.

IN MY VIEW BEMBAS OF LUAPULA ARE UNDER-REPRESENTED IN GOVERNMENT.

LUAPULA VOTED PF ALMOST 100% BUT HAS ONLY ONE MINISTER, KALABA!

  22. Mr kapeya has a degree in law. i remember seing him at a graduation ceremony [on tv ] for zambia open university in 2011 ,together with mrs elizabeth chitika.

  23. @BRICKLAYER and others like you. You should vent your anger at Sata and NOT all Bembas. If you are true to yourself you have seen a lot of Bembas who criticise Sata – just look at the opposition for instance. Most of us cringe with embarassment at Sata’s actions but by insulting all of us you have lost your argument. And by the way when you call us monkeys, remember that two fingers are pointing back at yourself because all blacks are monkeys to white people.

    • You are 100% correct my brother. And I ask for your forgiveness. There are good Bembas like yourself who can see what is happening. There are also many bad Bembas who are so loyal to Sata and the Bemba tribe and are quick to call others tribalists. Again, you are correct the blame lies with Sata and those Bembas who are tribal. When I use the term Kolwestan, it is these crooks that I am referring to and not descent Bembas like yourself.

  24. @ Mwansa.

  25. We are really leaving in an interesting era with little or no substance. Where education has been relegated to the lowest levels. It is unprecedented and actually really sad.

  26. Bricklayer is a frustrated bigotry. I’m proud to be Bemba. Bricklayer go back to Zambia and campaign for the tribe you belong to and one of yours to become the president . We shall respect him / her as the head of the country and not the ngoni period.

  27. Mwansa Kapeya’s CV

    Employment history
    1965-2011 Zambia Broadcasting Services/ZNBC
    Position: Producer Ichintobentobe, Ifyabukaya, Kabusha

  28. Bemba phobia will never take u anywhere. U’ll never stop them from advancing in any area of human endevour.l like Bembas, they even critisize themselves but some of the Zambians even if their relitives are i di ots they’ll even jeer them.

  29. When Nubian Beauty start advising Sata to rule with head than heart, it means intelligentia and commoner have all recognised that there is something seriously lacking in the PF government.

2011 to 2014 , or 2015 or 2016 will be the Darkest Period in the history of Zambia.

  30. I’ wont be surprised to see my former houseboy (the nephew) Clement Bwalya from Mpika to become either president or minister. i used to tell me ati, mwimbona efi… ine bayama ni ba governor ku lusaka!

  31. I’ wont be surprised to see my former houseboy (the nephew) Clement Bwalya from Mpika to become either president or minister. he used to tell me ati, mwimbona efi… ine bayama ni ba governor ku lusaka!

    • At least you know it. They are great swimmers and are adept at tree climbing. They will stop at nothing except the deep sands of Barotseland!

  32. 49 years after independence this is the best Zambia can produce as a minister? Some one who has never seen the inside of a school..

Zambia is officially a failed state

  33. Its so surprising that it has taken this long (2 yrs) for people like Nubian princess and others to come to the point of realization that Zambia is moving in the wrong direction under the current leadership. It is normal for one to have a soft spot towards their heritage. But to do it to such extremes is disheartening. I hope we have learnt a lesson this time around that we need to co-exist as Zambians. Lets not allow politicians to divide us. Lets quit looking down at other tribes. There are no lesser Zambians. We are all one people

  34. And we say we are moving forward? When are we going to appoint visionary young men and women who can think from a global perspective. One’s that have email account and do research on the internet. This appointment is unfortunate. Bring Back Lubinda, at least he was serious about about media and information reform. Even his language was respectful.

  35. CONGRATULATIONS TO BINWELL !!!!! BINWELL YOU DESERVE THE APPOINTMENT.
YOU CAN NOW BRING BACK CHINTOBE NTOBE AND THE KASAMA BANTU ACTORS!!!

  36. Nkonko. I am the same age like Mr Kapeya but I am using a smart phone to post on this blog. I use it for whatever it can do, spreadsheets, word, pdf, dropbox, whatsapp, viber and interact with my pc and laptop.

  37. This is a crazy world indeed! less than 48hrs when you are dead, a replacement already? things have changed or maybe am still behind. sata could have waited atleast after 3months before replacing the late sakeni. its a big lesson to all of us, once you are gone, WHOSE NEXT while others are still mourning. come Lord Jesus!

  38. ummmh …., to balance a cabinet is one cahleenge I have noticed during the advent of our plural politics. However much we talk about these things-all would be in vain unless the Republican constitution is given to the zambian people before the end of 2013……?practical or just academic exerciseis anyone’s freedom to assess

  39. …as a nation we must try to adopt some philosohpy which is able to narrow the imbalance between the young and the old.Right now, the pendulum swings towards the older folks while the energetic young at heart knash their teeth in the background.

  40. …we are definitely living in a crazy world! consider the critical issue of syria and the debate it has generated…?even in Zed the scenario appears to be similar in drawing a thin line between foes and allies

  41. Stepping Razor, yes the pendulum should be balanced. In fact it should tilt towards the young generation. Those in power should look into this issue critically. The problems in north africa now is as a result of joblessness among the youngsters.

  42. Amabricks, (Bricklayer )how is that Munyukunyuku fela belief treating you? Still jealous of great performers? Do you want him to appoint you when from beginning you have been snubbing PF and its leadershipdogi?
