Information and Broadcasting Services Permanent Secretary Emmanuel Mwamba has maintained that the cancellation of the Digital Migration Tender by his Ministry still stands.
This follows an appeal lodged by Star Software Technology Limited through its layers, Chibesakkunda and Company to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services on the cancelled Digital Migration Tender.
In a statement obtained by Qfm today, Mr. Mwamba states that no bidders have been awarded any tender to implement the project.
He says the Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) has already received appeals from two aggrieved bidders upon which the ZPPA advised that the tender be cancelled.
Mr. Mwamba further states that his Ministry has written to the Attorney General and ZPPA for guidance before the procurement committee can decide further on the matter.
