KK is a free moral agent to commend president Sata – Ng’oma

Share

Political scientist Alex Ng’oma has observed that there is nothing wrong with the statement that first republican president Kenneth Kaunda made during the commemoration of the country’s 49th independence anniversary in Kitwe last week.

Some opposition political parties in the country have cried foal that Dr. Kaunda’s speech in which he praised President Michael Sata was decisive and that the former head of state was actually campaigning for his re-election in 2016.

Dr. Ng’oma has however observed that much as he is a former Head of State, Dr. Kaunda is also a free moral agent and that he was merely giving credit where it was due in terms of how President Sata is presiding over the country’s governance affairs.

Dr. Ng’oma says the cry by some opposition political parties over Dr. Kaunda’s speech has actually exposed them of what they really are as political parties who are inclined to negativity.

Dr. Ng’oma says this is because they do not want to give credit where it is due no matter what a good thing that ruling party or the President himself may come with.

He says some opposition political parties are a kind that would prefer that the former Head of State speaks negatively about Mr. Sata even when there is some credit due to him for anything good he may do.

  1. “He says some opposition political parties are a kind that would prefer that the former Head of State speaks negatively about Mr. Sata even when there is some credit due to him for anything good he may do.”?

  2. Poor journalism. In various stories I have read on this issue, you keep telling us about how KK has riled the opposition but your story has no background. I mean Just what did KK say? You assume we all know. Are the journalism schools in Zambia still functioning?

  3. ba ng’oma mulesebanya ichalo. sebana wikute politics are dangerous. sometimes if not most times, its better to remain silent. at least we may think you are wise but when you shout at every fly that passes by your big flat nose, people begin to wonder

  4. Yes, indeed KK is a free moral agent to commend Sata wherever he deems fit. Nonetheless, to his own detriment, KK has become Sata’s henchman of some sorts…a hired assassin.

  5. Dr N’goma what kind of dobo do you smoke really. Kaunda cannot be a free agent, he was the first republican president. He is a father of the nation. If ever you know what that means ba Doctor. Like in your home, I am sure you are a father, you cannot be seen to favor or talk on behalf of one son. You are supposed to be impartial or forever keep your peace. So Kaunda ba Doctor is not a free agent. We all know you are looking for a job from Sata. Ain’t you the same guy who stole a ballot card in South Africa? We saw you from way back that you were up to no good. Ba doctor nkhalani chete if you have nothing to talk about. Everyone is condemning Kaunda who are you to think differently?

    • Iwe ulelanda ifyamano! you mean a few of you bitter, impoverished and mislead peasants condemning KK means everyone is!! atase!! ONLY the successful, the learned, the mature, the true citizens, the rich and the Elite acknowledge KK status and contribution to our great country and understand where we are coming from and where we are going!!

LONG LIVE KK! ONE ZAMBIA ONE NATION!!

  6. Either LT have left out something very basic in what this Alex N’goma said or this man has very questionable credentials as a political scientist. It not Rocket science, every well meaning Zambian knows that as a founding Father of Zambia, KK should and must operate above partisan politics. Period. The moment KK takes senseless partisan sides like this, it will be used against him later by the other, and he loses the voice of a founding Father and becomes a cheap common party cadre. The choice is his.

  7. Kaunda can asslick Sata whenever he wants, after all the sh*t will go to his own tongue. What he should not do however, is to insult Zambians by calling them confused and stupid. Instead, this free-loader should be thankful to Zambians that he has not paid any bill for over 50 years.

  8. No one is condemning KK for praising Sata. He is being condemned for calling opposition party presidents as ” Little things” and some ministers as “Foolish”. If this okay for the so called political scientist then I did well to study Natural sciences.
