Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) leader Edith Nawakwi says the Patriotic Front should say sorry to the Zambian people for the inconvenience and misery they have been made to through.
Ms Nawakwi said the people of Zambia expected the PF to create employment for them, and not to impose an employment freeze.

Traditional affairs Minister Professor Nkandu Luo promised Chief Matanda that government will construct his house within two weeks!
[/pullquote]And Ms Nawakwi said the ruling Patriotic Front has resorted to desperate measures ahead of the Mansa central Parliamentary by election this Thursday.
Ms Nawakwi told Qfm News that while the PF campaign team is quick to make desperate pronouncements in Mansa, the majority of the Zambian people already know the truth about the ruling party.
Ms. Nawakwi said she is surprised at some statements being made by the PF campaign of things that could have been done a long time ago.
The FDD leader cites the remarks by chiefs and traditional affairs Minister Professor Nkandu Luo promising Chief Matanda that government will construct his house within two weeks.
[QFM]
Construct a house within 2 weeks! Dr Luo is on some herb! May be shehe meant a thatched one.
A house in two weeks… Yes, a Hut actually. But come to think of it, I was just thinking of Nawakwi’s party and realized that all political parties in Zambia are dictatorships (maybe MMD is an exception) or am I mistaken? Can someone remind me of the party general/ elective conferences that elected the following leaders not their positions:
1. Edith Nwakwi – FDD
2. Micheal Sata – PF
3. Elias Chipimo – NAREP
4. Hikainde Hichilema – UPND
5. Mulongoti Party – Mike Mulongoti
6. Heritage Party – Godfrey Miyanda, ETC, ETC…..
Sorry, I meant “…INTO their positions…”
Luo is just a loud mouth no wonder she has no life no man just an in out guy sis man
Edith you are a failed politician, please give us space with your wild allegations. You were a minister of finance when zambia had deplorable state of infrastructure. Ask Saxon Simachembele in Livingstone, its not the city you left. Edith you are apart of the problems Zambians are facing today which was man-tailored by you. Tell the people how many jobs you created for the period you served in MMD government for 10 years and what PF and Sata have done in 2 years.
Apologize. Not politicians.
Apologize?Not politicians.
PF apologizing for what? If anything MMD and UNIP should apologize.
Well we judge MMD and UNIP for their on actions. But firstly PF should apologise for lying about the constitution everybody said that it cant be done in 90days I remember saying this during the election. Apologise for his Carders and the mayhem they cause. In fact during the election I remember saying that we will regret electing Sata because of how he used Cards in both UNIP and MMD
Honestly speaking I have been around for a long while, no one of the present Opposition Leaders can strive to work as hard and impressively as Mr. Sata has tried in two years with his humble or no known academic education. What Opposition Leaders need to do is pray to God to give them an opportunity to rule Zambia some day, like Sata has been blessed without daily ignoring even the progress the man has made. By comparison how many people have found jobs and skills including opportunities of making money in last two years? And how many in similar period before found jobs and opportunities to make money? It is only the Opposition and lazy people who have not yet seen anything good Sata has done. He has a five year mandate give him support like you will need our support when your turn comes.
Apologies for what, my foot! Every politician tells sweet talk while campaigning to entice voters which you regard as lies, like you have never told any lie before grow up! 90 days promise was political sweet talk, a house in two weeks is realistically impossible but mere sweet talk. Constitution making process- how many Govts have made promises since independence to date to give us a people-driven one? Why cluster all worries and troubles on Sata and PF like Zambia begun yesterday? Time to complain would be at the end of the present mandate, then we could verify whether Sata and PF kept their promises or not to deserve second term or switch to another Party. At the moment is time for everyone to work hard, or create self-employment for oneself to survive/improve one’s standard of living.
ba Nawakwi…a lone voice in the wilderness still trying to be relevant in the local political landscape….shut up
Nashala Neka Party, NNP also known as FDD.
Edith Nawakwi should just keep quite we all know that you have been there before and you also failed lamentably. so what can you tell us.
I would support Nawakwi on her outbursts if she was sincerely and genuinely honest, for all I know is she is selfish and unhappy that she did not get a PF ministerial appointment. If Sata appointed her today to replace the convicted Masumba she would shut her mouth for ever. Such are Zambian leaders.
Guys, did you see the pounds of rotten flesh hanging on Nkandu Luo’s forearms? I wonder whether those are night wings Muchingans use in the nocturnal expeditions or it’s muscles she uses to grab to men during intercourse for fear that when they see her ugly face “coming”, they will take off like a Mig jet plane.
How can an adult waste his time and precious megabytes posting such.LT you have an obligation (responsible journalism) to censor such vulgarities
@Ngombala Muhapi wa Mafatsi
Are you for real? You have too much time on your hands. You suck! Find some other pass-time, try pulling wire, for instance. You despicable waste-of -space scumbag.
@ item 9, this forum is for discussing real issues affecting the nation. Yes, sometimes bloggers bring out light moments, that’s good too. But please this is no place for vile language. Respect for one another, especially elders is important.
HH has agreed to Miles Sampa to marry women Luapula province for him to win the elections……………………………………………………………………..
Iwe Edith Nawakwi, you were in Brazil with these bakwelekwele and now you want to paint a good pic of yoself, atase! Njala yaku nyokola i presume
90 days failed to work because it was too long for PF’s patience, apparently the in thing now is two weeks. Ba Luo, what kind of lies are these?
Hey Luo what are you smoking?I want some of it!
Nawakwi please you should be the first to apologies. You stole a husband and secondly it is still fresh in our minds the Carrington Scandal. Tatwalaba.
One house can be built in one week! what is wrong with Zambians? No wonder infrastructure development has been moving at a snails pace in the country when you have leaders like Nawakwi!
Nawakwi should try to watch ‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’ so that she can see how to build a house in a week! It is normal to suffer a little before good things happen and that means hard-work and sacrifice! Zambia will become more attractive to investors when the road infrastructure opens up the country and make it easy to transport goods from one point to another. Zambians should learn to accept challenges especially my educated brothers and sisters. We have a defeatist mentality and fail to perform and start giving excuses when we are given a time frame or deadline in which to complete a task.
The ‘it cannot be done’ mentality need to replaced by the ‘ how do we do it ‘ mentality and then maybe the country will start to move forward and as a country we can start to find solutions to our own problems which are unique to Zambia.
Some bloggers are still in denial that a house can be built in 2 weeks! The house can be finished in 5 days and that is including landscaping if it is a prefabricated house which comes in pieces and all they have to do is erect it on site. These houses comes in different materials including concrete and they come in different sizes and some manufacturers make them according to customer designs.
Housing construction industry has collapsed because of laziness of Zambians, they expect to continue getting monthly salaries for a year for building one…
Imwe bantu ’90 days’ was just a political campaing criche.UNIP used say ‘UNIP MULILO UWAIKATAPO WAPYA’. Now was UNIP fire? Was 90 days in the manifesto/? No! Look at the manifesto and just them by it. Ubutu tamwakaleke ba fyatile.
