People’s Party President Mike Mulongoti has accused the Patriotic Front (PF) government of state terrorism.
Mr. Mulongoti says the PF government is doing so either out ignorance or deliberately.
Mr. Mulongoti has told Qfm News in an interview that the deployment of Police at Chitimukulu’s palace is a clear demonstration of state terrorism.
He says what the PF government is doing at Paramount Chief Chitimukulu’s palace is the exact act of state terrorism they have been exerting in Western province on the Barotseland agreement.
Mr. Mulongoti notes that the deployment of Police officers is sending terror into innocent citizens.
He says Police officers are supposed to be protecting the people and not terrorizing them.
kaya mwandi mweee, we won in Mansa.
Foooolish!! He had nothing to say. So if the gvt send police officer to any part of the country to maintain law and order, you call that terrorism? I am also not happy with what the gvt has done but using the word terrorism is luck of vocabulary or expression of ignorance.
Fake Zambian, you are then one who is exposing high levels of ignorance… A simple search of the word terrorism from the web should be able to put you back in your little corner. There is no agreed upon definition of the word terrorism, legally or internationally…
Bee, you contradict yourself. You rightly say there is no agreed upon definition of the word terrorism, legally or internationally, but why then do you go on to label Mulongoti ignorant? From your argument, you draw the conclusion that any one can have their own definition of terrorism, including yourself!
Bee, my apologies. I mixed your comment with Fake Zambian’s. He is indeed fake. your comment is ok.
The strongest statement yet from concerned a citizen.
The strongest statement yet from a concerned citizen.
@Chiwanangala, winning a By-election in Mansa does not mean the government has got the right to violate human rights in anyway. May be in your own opinion, you can let other people know why you find it valid that the government took a correct step to send some paramilitary Police officers to the palace of Chitimukulu. Was there any war being fought at Senior Chief Chitimukulu’ s Palace or were there some misunderstandings beyond control which required the presence of police officers ? Use your brains to think other than otherwise. Only imbeciles like you and the whole bunch of morons in your government can support the idea but not someone with the rightful thinking mind.
Well said. But, why are you even answering to retarded and *****ic bonehead with IQ of dried beans?
The government has the right to send police to every place which is in Zambia in order to maintain law and order.
PF and SATA have the mandate to rule up to 2016 so expect more defeat to the Opposition who have nothing to offer right now. ‘Lekeni SATA Ateke’
@ Jason Phiri, you’re a very f**cked up person in your maggot brain
Oh please GET A LIFE MULONGOTI you contributed to the maliase in the country
@Dollar,
Yes you are right, your PF and Sata are ruling the country and that is where things are going wrong. In a democracy they are expected to govern, ruling is a dictatorship, no wonder under Sata and the PF everything is now by decree.
What law and order are they maintaining at the chief’s palace other than spreading terror in the innocent villagers?
The most disappointing thing is the silence from Civil society and the church. It these organisation cannot comment and advise on issues such as these, what then are the issues are they going to comment on?
What you people are failing to openly acknowledge, may be fearful of the dreaded PF govt pangas, is that Sata’s action against the honorable bashi LuBemba, is nothing but a showing off of power that he is wielding as commander in chief of the army and police. He has nothing against the simple but very wise men of Bembaland. If only he could stop the stupidity of it all! The ball is in his court.
We have areas where Police presence is required. Patrol of Townships where the Citizens have cried for help.Learn also to listen to Local Radios around Lusaka. If there is a problem at the Palace let the Police be there, but not huge number we heard. Most of the people are seeing the Police in their attire which is a bit frightening to the locals. We are going to the festival season am sure Police High Command knows that we need to celebrate in good atmosphere year 2013
