Police have been deployed at the Lusaka district Patriotic Front office in the central business district two days after it was reopened by the Julius Komaki led group.

A check by a Qfm News crew this morning found Police in full riot gear manning the closed district office.

When contacted for a comment on the deployment of Police officers at the PF Lusaka district office, Komaki only said that he was not in the right position to comment on the matter.

On Monday, Komaki reopened the district office which had remained closed for some time following wrangles in the ruling party.

Komaki is one of the PF members who have been championing the removal of party Secretary General Wynter Kabimba.

He was recently a victim of intra-party violence in which he sustained a 15 centimetres deep cut to the head landing him in Hospital.

The violence by rival PF groups left one person dead.

And when contacted for a comment on the deployment of Police officers at the PF Lusaka district office, Police public relations officer Charity Munganga Chanda expressed ignorance on the matter.

    • I like people who never give up like Komaki, but I hate stubborn people like Kabimba.
Life is so much better without Kabimba, I pray he goes forever.

    • My heart bleeds whenever my eyes reads about these Kimoki gangsters over that innocent boy who was on a bicycle riding happily only his life cut short by PF cadres.
Arrest KIMOKI and charge him with murder case, the man will eventually tell the who nation what happened on the material day.
No these cases of daily amendments since witness could not see corruption.
I will not rest until justice prevail.

    • Surely if we can not sort out/deal with Komati as a party ,then we have no//you have no order in the Party. Can you be able to sort out GBM, Nsanda or Jane Kapata? Powerless Party! Iam tired of this PF disorganisation. Waste of time and space…Next issue please!

  1. yah our party no proper direction as we are all waiting to see whether East, West, South or North. Please give us directions Sirs and Madams.

  2. A party which cant organise itself. That is what happens when the man at helm of the party and its government thrives in confusion. What an embarrasement to the country. Why should a sane person support the PF?

    • @Ba Mwamba and Ba Sotambe,
A 15 cm deep cut differs from a 15cm-deep cut. The former which is what ba LT meant to report on, implies the cut was deep and 15 cm long. The latter, which is possibly what you understood them to mean implies that the cut was 15 cm deep but its length was not estimated!
That being said, LT and most other Zambia Media people tend to use ambiguous syntax leaving many a reader or listener bewildered and flabbergasted.

    • it could the trauma and concussion he suffered from the “hacking” that he has now moved into the main arena from watching “the Banda Vs Chikwelete fight” and is now trying to display his mettle or strength of character.

He will soon challenge Prince Sata (Lsk Deputy Mayor) for the chairmanship, God help him in this regard. His excellency may not be so patient when especially his own prince is thrown into the fray!

  3. This is a waste of resources. With all the crime in Lusaka and police are deployed to guard a party office. Are they PF security guards now? Is the policeman posing for the camera wearing a bullet-proof jacket?

  4. I DONT UNDERSTAND THE STORY.WHERE WAS KOMAKI WHEN POLICE GUARDED THE PF OFFICE WERE THE POLICE GUARDING KOMAKI FROM HIS ENEMIES OR WERE THEY PREVENTING KOMAKI AND COMPANY TO REACH THE AREA?WHICH IS WHICH

  5. I bet it pays to be a cadre now. How else can it be when Komaki – panga cuts all over and blood oozing – can jump out of an ICU bed and sprint Usain Bolt-like to district offices for healing. This game must be worth millions a day from the markets, bus stations and plots, worth dying for.

  6. How possible is it that someone can sustain a 15cm deep cut & yet survive it.This is a lie.
More popcorns please even as the movie continue to un fold..

    • Why wait for 2016? These guys need to be kicked out now before they do further damage to Zambia. Does anyone know who is ruling in Zambia? Zambia is like a headless chicken.

  8. The breakdown of law and order in PF is all emanating from the shielding of Winter Kambimba even if people has lost confidence in his leadership beacause of his hidden agenda with Fred and others. Sata should show leadership here.

  9. But lets call a sped, a sped and not a big spoon. things are not okay whether how much we blame each other, and point fingers at who. what we need to do is seat down and plan the way forward. its not time to say who did what, or lets punish who, No we have no time for that. Lets plan our way forward before the economy collapses completely and the tension will just become worse. As a Christian Nation lets seek refuge in the Lord through Jesus Christ otherwise we are doomed.
