The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) has encouraged the Zambian people to embrace Love, reconciliation and friendship during the festive season.
EFZ Executive Director Pukuta Mwanza has told Qfm in an interview that people should ensure that they enter the New Year in a manner that enhances love and harmony in the communities and the country as a whole.
Reverend Mwanza points out that it is important that Zambians embrace forgiveness towards each other during the Christmas period so that they enter the New Year with hearts free of grudges.
He adds that the purpose of Christmas time is to celebrate the gift of God to mankind and therefore should dedicate their time to worshipping God and evaluating one’s self to ensure that they reflect the love of God to people.
Reverend Mwanza has since appealed to Zambians to celebrate Christmas in a responsible manner and stay away from evil vices.
