    • I’m just thinking it’s a more direct route than flying to Dubai then Lusaka.and what happened to the first Lady and Presidential Jet?These people really treat Zambians like fools. They use tax payers monies and have the audacity to lie blatantly to Zambians. We await the photos in London in the snow, also the meeting with investors…

    • @ Mulenga

      ubukopo muleke.
BA ceased and abandoned the Lusaka route in October 2013 and you still expect the president to use the airline.

      stop ****** while reading stories

    • Why does the head of these forces (Police, Army etc) go to welcome a president that has hardly been out of the country?

      Which country does the same?

      Thanks

    • My bad forgot our Lusaka,Zambia was not a viable route for BA.Then he could have flown to Joberg on BA and connected to Lusaka.Taking Emirates makes us wonder if he actually stepped in London or was in Dubai or India. Remember its winter in London.

    • Who is in-charge of President’s wardrobe? Its simply illegal to dress head of state like that….
Pic 5, I like that bodyguard he always make fun of Sata by following his walking style.

    • I am not a PF supporter but I disagree with you. Are you aware that British Airways has pulled out of Lusaka/London route? How can he fly to Lusaka using British Airways?

    • You are fool of shiiiitttt
Don’t you know that British Airways stopped all London-Lusaka flights in October 2013?
      Stop showing your ignorance!

    • Mulenga wampanga kwena ulichikopo. This shows your ignorance, there a lot of airlines in London however BA suspended its operations to Zambia some 13 months ago. Learn to keep quite is you do not understand the issue at hand, and make a research.

    • He does look a trifle tired and as for his poorly wardrobe I think its not in issue health first he should have taken the 14 days rest but not in cold London…

    • He could have use Ethiopian to London and back or KLM which is more direct. Where is first lady and presidential jet???? Too many questions no answers

    • I miss the days when a president would land and then converse with reporters, briefing them about his travels and what investors he met. But alas, i present to you, this coward, who practically bolts for the chopper to go continue his hibernation mu state house. Bears have got nothing on this man!

    • He used presidential jet not Emirates. And the pictures are during the day not 22.05 when he is reported to have arrived. And where is First Lady? Acting presido shud be one to greet him first not Chikwanda. LT you are also joining the PF vuvuzela band. These are file photos.

    • Sorry! I have too many things on my mind, like is my President sick?what will happen to the Bashilubemba, will GBM resign or be expelled, will chibesakunda nullify another parliamentary seat, will PF allow a mine at near the victoria falls? …all these thoughts clouded my mind….I now understand why the president left the presidential plane and first lady in London- so that he could fly emirates because BA -LSK is no more!

    • Yah, the big man looks very tired. Its like he is just tired of everything. May God help you and bless you with strength Mr. President.

  1. All the pictures tell the full story about the president’s health condition, what more with those suits that have become over-size. Furthermore the sad expressions on the faces of the officials seem to confirm what we all know.

    • Yes. If you understand Zambian culture, the mannerisms of the surrounding people tells the whole story.

Normally we smile wide and joke. ( even inappropriately and foolishly) but look at them guys.

    • Sorry I’m not UPND but HH must be honored to have you think I support him. There is no shame in not knowing the shame lies in not finding out.

    • Mulenga, You are a man!! I salute you my dear. Look at how these PF cadres are taking turns on you over a very simple issue. If BA does not fly direct to Zambia, why didn’t ba Chumbu Munshololwa go to Johannesburg and connect to Lusaka from there so that it was going to be much cheaper than taking the route he took? It is a very simple question which these maggots are failing or avoiding to answer.

    • Ba Mulenga,
I like your style. I wish all bloggers had your sense of maturity and humour. you are a real breath of fresh air! keep it up

    • @Bupe- I suppose the reason he never flew out of Johannesburg is that he was in Addis Ababa in the first place. Therefore it was easier for him to connect to where ever he was via Dubai. Returning via the same route worked out cheaper. But still there are questions: where is the Challenger, and why didn’t he use Ethiopian Airways?

  2. Please leave my President alone. Some of you just like amatalisho sana, even where there is no point you are making. HEMCS is our president; give him chance. Of course every human being makes mistakes, but criticise in a progressive manner: not just talking every time you see his picture. You are president for your own house, how disciplined are you? How many times have you tried to corrupt somebody to favour you on something? How many times have you violated your own house rules? How many times have you said “this is my house, if you don’t like it kabiye!” – that is being dictatorial? So stop judging others when you don’t even have the standards for judging them!

    • The problem is he is NOT STOPPING violating ama rules. IT would have been different if he had apologised but he has and never will so there is no sense in us being all sensitive and stuff. He gives sh!t out, we match it, sh!t for sh!t.

    • Give him a chance? After making all that noise, as opposition leader, of what he will do when he becomes president. Where are all those big plans and ideas?

  3. Then someone expects the country to develop when a bunch of the workers are lining up at the airport waiting for a patient! This behavior must really stop, imagine how much resources are wasted for this kinda thing. Bootlicking of the waste kind. Many of those people at the airport left work hanging in their disrespectful offices!

    • Even when HH is president, the service chiefs will be at the airport to meet him and nobody can stop them as it is a matter of protocol!

    • @mundiaM,
I have responded to your thread in which you called me a liar, please go to story headlined ‘We Are Happy We Recalled President Sata back’, item #17.2

    • Mmmmm ba The Observer – which worker have abundoned their work to receive the president? All th service Chiefs are on duty when they are welcoming the president. Chaba shani kanshi mwe bantu. Be proud of your country!!!

  4. This man (Sata) is really finished. All that is remaining of him is a big head. And he still wants hang on at the expense of his well being. Greedy dog wants to die with the bone. He is the most useless president ever.

    • Amen Matrix. Only God knows when one is going to die. I’ve seen people going to visit a critically ill patient in Hospital die before the patient. In some cases the patient even sponsors their funeral. Until God says so, Sata lives on! Like it or not.

  5. The lady in blue is Dr Kasonde. Presidential physician, hahahaha. She is related to Mr kasonde- minister. She goes with the president everywhere as his personal physician even when her studies are very limited. Risky business….

    • Good observation, that is Dr Kasonde in blue. She is a specialist in kidney diseases (Consultant Nephrologist). Now the dots seem to be making sense…… But what do you mean her studies are limited?

    • @ Entropy- The Kasondes seem to be good Presidential Doctors then. One Dr. Joseph Kasonde used to be President Kaunda’s personal physician.

    • @tpn you are the people giving us Born agains a bad name.I’m born again and I want to see the Presidential holiday pictures. We have seen the before and after pictures but we need to see the DURING pictures

  6. Thank God he is back, look at his face that shows really that Batata balwele, stroke or what?Pic 1,2 and 3 could simply describe his health, wishing him complete recovery so that he delivers his promises to his people.

  7. Prophet T B Joshua has forseen squabbles in 2016 in Nigeria. He says archtects of violence , crime and murders will this time be the ones to bear the consequencies and will be made to answer for their wrong doing and not inocent citizens. In Ghana he predicted seroius economic problems in the near future. In Southern Africa, he has forseen succession rangles as a result of diseases on the part of leaders. He did not name any particular country in the South African region.

  8. You chaps shud look at aviation routes thoroughly. Emirates can fly from london to lsk, why go to joburg then take another two hour flight to zambia.

    • Punsh: Bebeko ba mambala. Emirates has taken over BA Lusaka – London route. Its more direct and cheaper. Now every Zambian is an expert on air travels and presidential security. Don’t sound to be more knowledgeable when you are actually exposing your ignorance. Anyway i forgive you since you are overseas on account of your Nurse wives. Try to do some studies whilst there we don’t want you coming back as dull as you left. The President may be ill but is he incapable of leading the country. Mind you the constitution allows him to stay in office until a consortium of doctors appointed by parliament declares him unfit. Mukesefye muku voter mu 2016. Inga mwatulekela, umufyashi mpaka 2021.

    • Infact, Emirates uses better aircraft into Africa than those they are suggesting. Don’t think Ba is better than Emirates. Test them.

  9. Yah, the big man looks very tired. Its like he is just tired of everything. May God help you and bless you with strength Mr. President.

  10. All those criticising His Excellency’s suit do not know that it is the latest fashion, designer’s suit. You are used to polyester suits from China-glossy and shining. italian suits are the best. Casual smart suits are in vogue.

  11. I think the President needs to rest, he must go for 3 weeks holiday with a limited number of staff. He looks stressed though from a holiday as earlier reported. As for the officials he travelled with; they are very useless, they should have chosen better clothes as opposed to what he was wearing.

  12. kwena naupwa mambala iwe…he is remaining with a big HEAD with corners on it eish, pic 1 en the one he is sleeping in chopper eh continue refusing to those who thinks he is not sick. honestly how do you sleep immediately after greeting people/ a minute after jumping in a chopper lol.

  13. So there are still some people who keep saying Sata is fine? Come on, its clear the man looks unwell, lets not pretend guys.

And whoever bought that suit for our president should be fired, it is about 2 sizes oversise, why do people want to make our president look like a clown like this?

    • Eh! Because he is a clown….. Even Kasebanya to embarrassed to be seen with him would rather stay in Dubai to buy more shoes to show off when she carries out ‘operations’ in some rural death trap also erroneously referred to as a ‘clinic’

  14. Bonse Muli ba chabe chabe fye! I challenge that you post a photo of your FATHER, not your GRAND-FATHER, and compare to the president. The old man is past +75 years old and you expect him to be in tip top shape. Some of you at your tender age of below 40, you look like you are +60. Like the Bemba saying goes ‘ Inshiku shalingenye umwana na nyina’. Just you wait for your turn, and come and blog again when you are +70. Grow up and wish the old man continued good health. As for HH, he will suffer from dementia starting next year, mark my words.

  15. Theho cabinet, army, polic and LCC heads etc at the airport to see off and welcome the president. Wasting tax payers money and not working. No wonder Zambia is very poor and not developed.

  16. Hahahaha! I like the way some guys are making a meal out of BA not flying to Zambia any more. Kwati ebenda ne ndeke, kanshi balengele fye muma pepala.

  17. President Sata then in opposition used to give Mwanawasa may his soul rest in peace) hell on earth. He called him all name on earth, this is what happens when u are not fair to others. I pray that HH does not over do it, or it will back fire to him too. Its lesson learnt in bitter way.

Let pray for him for that he completes his term and retire peacefully.

  18. someone has already pointed out Mulenga’s error over the BA’s direct route to Lusaka. Must you all belabor the point?

The colleague has accepted his mistake with magnanimity & good nature- why should it continue to be a big issue?

this does not only derail the discussion from an important topic, but also bespeaks self-esteem issues.

back to topic- who wears “bagy bag” anymore? Is he trying to hide something (like a urine bag or new operation scar)?

    Thanx

  19. Things aint looking good.May our good lord unite us together in the blood of Jesus Christ.Let your will be done and not man’s.No malice intended.

  20. You shameful tongas, you are just jealous of our President bakoswe imwe. Ala a tonga wont, can’t etc rule zambia. it is only the cows that a tonga can lead. Get is in your cowdung heads.

  21. Ba mama Kaseba Bali kwi? He needs someone to oversee his care. That suit is wrong in terms of color, size and fabric. Also wrong for the occasion.
    Again, where is Christine?

  22. nangu kutemwa ukuteka guys teso mwe.. you can tell that it goes beyound desparation even hoping in the man dying.. anything to get to state house bakamba ..ni zeee.. VIVA HH 2050! VIVA Ukuiteka eka!VIVA!

  23. So who is the biggest kamwendo munjila now? From state house to&fro the airport in air! At least RB from Nkwazi house and back he was using the road mwe! Iyi yeve ndiye big time kamwendo munjila!

  24. Do pictures lie, I wonder? Please photograph the President properly. Select Presidential angles, not these angles that show as if he has just been discharged from the hospital! This looks like a patient coming home!

  25. Let us rejoice that our president is back safely. And emirates air line is the cheapest compare to other air lines landing in Lusaka.

  26. @gen, @vic. Flying by British airways does not mean flying direct to Lusaka. If the president was in London. It would have been prudent to fly to South Africa because it would have taken him 12 hours to get to Lusaka than flying from London to Dubai then connect to Lusaka which takes about 24 hours+ ( whole trip) to get to Lusaka. Which they incurred cost for a sleep over in Dubai before connecting to Zambia.

  27. So live comes to a stand still when the President is flying in or out of Zambia. All these guys could have been meaningful work in their offices or elsewhere. This is a stone age practice. Can we modernise?

  28. The pictures are not good Sata look like a kaponia from Mamba can we found the person who use to dress the late Chiluba because My president look like salaula mikambo.

  29. People should just not jump to conclusions, we are surely going to as usual have a documentary on the presidetial visit to london like always and that should put the matter to rest.
