    • The cold hand of death has struck again and has robbed us a gallant son of our nation.

Thank you for your dedicated and selfless services to the nation and to mankind around the world

      Rest in eternal peace

    • I just hope Sata will take this funeral serious, just mourn one person for God’s sake. And Willa will be best person Sata would show some remorse.

    • @Nostradamus
Iwe Nostra,,, its already a state funeral unless he was a member of UPND, Sata doent give state funerals to members of UPND,,, he can only consider those close to bellyman Munkombwe

  1. Iwe ba Willa wesu, too bad you could not live to see the 50+1 clause implemented. We will fight hard to make it a reality, this will be our memory for you and it will live on…You did your part and you handed the mantle to us Zambians to implement what you recommeded. No mountain, no Sata will stop what you started……….rest in peace son of the soil.

  2. RIP.Now this Mun’gomba Given the former mpulungu MP is he not aware that the brother has died for him to continue campaigning for position of a councillor in katwe ward.

    • I am sure he was praying to the almighty for recovery from the ailment that ultimately took him. The almighty denied him the request. Now you are expecting him to be the strength of the bereaved. From a logic standpoint, given a chance to choose, the family would have him live over post loss strength.

This almighty of yours ladies and gentlemen…awe shuwa!

  3. A very soft spoken Brother In Law, you will be greatly missed by all. If Zambia could have more of your calibre, mwende bwino and rest in peace.

  4. Your contributions will be seen to fruition. We are here to continue fighting the good cause. Rest In Eternal Peace……

  5. I never knew the late Mung’omba but from his contributions highlighted above he was indeed a great man not only to the Zambian nation but also internationally and will be missed by all. Wishing his family solace.

  6. Willa has run his race, yes it was a Gallant one, he brought a lot of positive changes at the AfDB and then contributed so well as an advisory Board Member of the World Bank. The privatization program, no matter how it can be condemned, Willa contributed to its success!! The result we all see today in our economy.

This is the man we are paying tribute to today. As a brother, Willa assisted us so much in times of need. He will be greatly missed.

    MHSRIEP

  7. Great loss for our poor country. May our good Lord grant his exceeding mercies and love to the bereaved family and our nation. MHSRIEP

    • @ Democratic Legal

The habit does not make the monk !!

if you only knew what is going on at ZCCM-IH, you would spit on his tombstone !

a so-called needed recapitalisation of ZCCM-IH while First Quantum Minerals owes ZCCM-IH more than $600 million, $100 million swindled and invested in Mauritian Banks, $300 million misappropriated by Glencore

a great man for Zambia indeed !!!!

  8. This is a badly written article You must tell us how old the man was, and the family he has left behind
    However MHSRIP

  9. Heart felt condolence to the family of late Willa Mung’omba and Zambia a gap has existed difficult to fill within the legal profession. Mung’omba worked hard tirelessly to bring to bear a national constitution. Its unfortunate the current regime has rubbished efforts of Zambians to have a national constitution. If only sense is common it would have been a fitting tribute to late Mung’omba.
I only hope the remains of this exemplary son of Zambia will be put to rest in Zambia.

  10. REST IN PEACE PAPA. YOU WERE A GALANT PARTRIOT OF OUR MOTHER ZAMBIA. OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AS YOU ENTER A NEW TRANSITION. GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU IN WHATEVER FORM DEATH TRANSFORM US HUMAN BEINGS.
