Masebo refuses to quit, those asking her to step down are hired guns

Share

Tourism Minister Sylvia Masebo has labeled those calling for her resignation in view of the tribunal constituted to probe her alleged misconduct with regards the operations of the Zambia Wildlife Authority as hired guns.

Ms Masebo has since stated that she has no intention of stepping down despite the allegations leveled against her.

Ms. Masebo has told journalists in Lusaka today that those calling for her resignation are hired guns of what she has termed as some wildlife criminals.

The Minister who could not hide her emotions said Mr. Harrington has no powers to tell her to step aside until after the Tribunal investigating her has concluded its sittings.

Ms Masebo says only President Michael Sata has the power to ask her to resign.

Ms Masebo says Mr. Harrington now has the opportunity to go to tribunal and prove his allegations with evidence.

  1. Ms Masebo, if you still have any integrity remaining, you should resign to allow for a free investigation of your office. Otherwise, the Zambian public will conclude that you either have something to hide or you are in politics for employment only. On this one integrity score, even the infamous Dora beats you!

    • How is she hardworking? There is big difference between “hardworking” and “active”. Maybe Masebo is hardworking in bed affairs.
Yes Harrington is wasting our time, Masebo is not a factor to be spemding money on. Use money and time to remove Kabimba, because all witchcraft bouncing from that umbilical cord he carries in his left pocket.

    • @Nostradamus: Have you had carnal knowledge of her for you to arrive your conclusion about her viz a viz bed affairs? Please let us be civil even if we are hidding behind computer screens!

  2. THE CALL FOR ANY MINISTER WHO IS UNDER PROBE TO RESIGN IS A CONSEQUENCE OF HAVING IMMATURE OPPOSITION OR OPPOSITION LED BY FELLOWS WHO HAVE NOT STUDIED CONTEMPORARY WORLD HISTORY.

WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM THE MEDIA HOUSES LED BY FORM 5 SCHOOL LEAVERS LIKE SAKALA?
THE OPPOSITION LED BY CHRISTIANS LED BY NEVERS AND OUR FATHER WHO IS UNTO HELL?

    1. DID MASUMBA RESIGN BEFORE THE COURTS FINISHED THEIR WORK?

    2. DID PRESIDENT REAGAN RESIGN OVER IRAN-GATE OR CONTRA-GATE?

    3. DID PRESIDENT REAGAN RESIGN OVER NICARAGUAN CONTRAS SCANDAL?

    4. DID PRESIDENT NIXON RESIGN BEFORE THE WATERGATE SCANDAL INVESTIGATIONS WERE CONCLUDED?
    ETC.

  3. I think Harrington is the (PhD) Pull him/her Down No 1 in Zambia. In Kavindele,s NWR, Jacob Sikazwe’s Legacy , Zambezi Resources, ZAWA . He is there throwing spanners in the works. Has he got projects of his own, I wonder?

    • My friend, it is not right to call Harrington a PHD for showing concern where he believes authority is being abused or things are going wrong. Just understand that in this life, there are people with balls who cannot take nonsense while lying down. Consider yourself lucky you have such people in your country or else the Masebos of this world would be dancing on your head!

    • @Third eye: I used to think so of him until I noticed a pattern. He seems to have big balls only for fellow Zambians! When KCMand Mopani pollute he is quiet. When Zambezi sun and livingstone royal were building in the NP he was quiet but when Jacob Sikazwe’s legacy wanted to build in the same NP he had thebig balls to pull him down! Don’t you see rather disturbing/unfortunate pattern? And for Kavindele’s NWR, what can anyone find sometng wrong in it?Anway you can hold views and l hope you will respect my right to have my own opinion!

  4. What a sick government led by a very mentally and physically sick president!!!!!No wonder all the ministers and MP’s are catching the sickness. MP’s were the first to get the sickness which went straight to their heads rendering them useless.
