so ba macky 2, what do you mean when you say that “ka mu blackie na mano ya chisungu”. Self hating africans, zambians. when will we learn to love and appreciate ourselves. Macky 2 you are a zambian artist a role model, you have the power of influence. the young people follow you, why not use that power to instill black pride through your lyrics, your conduct, your dress code. But oh no, we want to be pro-western. Anyway, i wont blame you so much, if you dont know how speical you are how can you teach others? the system teaches us to put ourselves down, how can we kknow better. i hope you read this and that i will tingle your mind to ask yourself, who you really are as an african. carry out your own research. If you dont find the answer, am here to help you brother.
@kolwe these guys are brought up under a school and home system that forces them to revere every thing European and to disparage everything black so they think by pretending to be white they become civilised. Each of us needs to think about what this does to our psyche and then do a revolution of the mind. That’s the only way Africa will go forward. Mako Zulu realised this and immediately dropped his St Michael stagename
Bakolwe mwimusapulula sana umwaice if you listen further he extols Africanness. My only quarrel with him is that while his words praise African dress the video pictures show us western dress only. In other words he doesn’t practice what he extols. Lip service ka? Otherwise the music is good and original.
See who is talking. What are you doing in Canada & USA?
BaJJ what s your point? I for one ain’t in the US like you have wrongly concluded. Iam very much in Africa. However wherever kolwe is doesn’t take anything from his argument. The fact that he is an African doesn’t mean he can’t travel. He is probably showing Canadians that he is a proud African!
exactly the stup1dity of these zed musicians. so they cant just accept who they really are without referencing to white people.
When will that mental slavery going to end?
iyi mwalepula bigtime.
Don’t hate the player, hate the game!!!
Another Zambian skelewu worse off with brain wash mentality ,when will the African race take pride and live a life as destined by the almighty creator .
Mwebantu! If you see something wrong, why not do something about it. Am sure you all have access to microphones and camera’s na ka computer software, stop your nonsense of word send Lusaka Times your work so we can get the picture of what you saying. Macky 2, WELL DONE TO THIS ONE, Even Pipo In America Can Relate To What You Saying!! Now Thats Taking Zedbeats To Another Level, besides just because its Zambian music does not mean only Zambians or Africans should appreciate it, stop shooting your own words, Even Asians need to “GOOGLE” to this track..
