  1. Do we have an ocean heheheheh! i thot we are landlocked (landlinked) hence we can reach all places by land.
You mean Tanganyika is source of any threat?????

    • @shimapalo, in case you didn’t know, Zambia has vast water bodies and as such, needs a well equipped marine force to handle accidents in waters, patrols on lakes/rivers shared with other countries for security purposes and as life savers for water tourists. Don’t show your ignorance by just jumping to make a joke of serious things.

    • shimapalo I think you are showing rather unfortunate ignorance when you question the reason for buying equipment. Mpulungu is a port in Zambia which is also an international border. The Luapula river has an international border, Zambezi River has an international border…Lake Kariba too is international

How do u expect the armed forces to patrol and maintain security and handle possible disasters in these large water bodies????

    • So soon Government Ministers will have nice boats to have luxury cruises at the taxpayers expense!

And when there is a DISASTER they will have no money for diesel or be “broken down”.

    • #1 YU ARE VERY IGNORANT ABOUT YOUR OWN COUNTRY. ITS A SHAME. YOU ARE VERY DULL. A COUNTRY DOES NOT NEED A SEA/OCEAN TO HAVE A MARINE SERVICE. ZAMBIA HAS MORE THAN IT TAKES- MANY BIG WATER BODIES.

  2. My friends, they are just preparing swimming equipement to Cuba and Sudan in 2016 following their defeat because no airline or road will be open for them to escape.

  3. @ Harry. Chinja fwaka uyeseko balani. did all former presidents need to escape? shame man. Well done defence guys
