And why should we be bothered about this? These are NAREP bedroom issues.
Conclaves. This is what happens when people have no strategy and have run out of things to do.
You as the public should be interested in this! I applaud NAREP for the step they have taken because it demonstrates their commitment to transparency. I’m a little worried at your nonchalant attitude. Have you gotten so used to corruption and graft that you no longer recognize the correct way of doing things and importance of transparency? I would rather trust my money with someone who has a proven record of transparency.
ACC need to check on that… its scary, who is funding for “capacity building”?
And salaries are too low, are they for one person? There are abuse in those figures.
Lets compare with the Fourth Reoublican party of Kambimba (Sudanese money).
Keep it up zambia
This is a demonstration of transparency and accountability not only to their fananciers but also the general public. It tells you how limited resources the Party receives is used in a prudent and transparent manner!
If you find something wrong with that, it is a serious source of concern!!
Finally some political party as broken the record in Zambian politics for being the first party to make public its financial report. Haters are not happy with this as they can’t make their’s public. Big thumbs to NAREP for demonstrating accountability. In this country we need this.
We are not members of NAREP. Don’t bring crap here.
Our friends in NAREP are doing an excellent job. By 2016 you will remain alone in pf
Is ths part of checks and balances to the mighty P.F.?ths is wat i mean wen i say Diaper politics, frm oposition. Sme Members are nt even aware bt phew…to the media.lekeni sata aleteka.
How is this transparency? These figures don’t tell us who is backing this party (donors?). It could be a party funded by drug dealers or foreign governments. Reveal the source of your income (donors by name/ program support from who?). I could care less if the party purchased a donkey (no disrespect to donkies) with the money.
Love your comment.
They have willingly opened up so that you can now ask them where the money is coming from. And that question should be easier to answer than publishing the financial statement which they have done.
very poor party, don’t make a mistake to vote for this impoverished political grouping , it’ll come to enrich itself first before serving the people of great mother Zambia
Its a hand to mouth party! Income is almost the same as expenditure. Banaba just balanced the books.
They are not a profit-making organisation. In fact NAREP needs to work hard and exhaust the resources budgeted for the financial year. Kwe. Some of our citizens are good at showing their ignorance. Move on, NAREP, you have scored a first. Ignore the stone-age thinkers. We need to move forward. Development is not just about physical infrastructure. It is also about the mind and the spirit.
Definitely this is a serious challenge and allien to the corrupt at heart. The Income and expenditure statement does not show details of the sources of income. Ask ZCAS if you want to know. If you want that information join the party and you will have access to the journals and ledgers of the Party.
Thank you Narep. You are just too way ahead of our stone-age thinkers. Come on UPND and other progressive parties, emulate NAREP. We look to the modern political parties to break away from culture of the once progressive UNIP and MMD offshoots who are trying hard to keep us in the dark dungeons of ancient one-party wamuyayaya style of politics.
evidently, there are people that do not understand/know how a financial report is presented.
1. this just a summary
2. for querries and clarrifications, consult the registrar of societies where detailed statement must have been filed.
3. is this statement derived from audited accounts? if so provide the name of the auditors
Clear demonstration of good leadership. i wish other parties can do the same, it does not matter who is finding but how the money is used. 50 years of freedom politicians hide such things from us voters but today a young man has shown us the way. Keep it up NAREP together will remove greedy politicians from the system.
Some comments just make me sick. How can anyone find fault with a gesture like this. Remember, a political party is a public entity and as such must show how the monies they receive in donations or goodwill from the public, is used. This is a FIRST for Zambia and NAREP should be applauded. This will obviously shame and make other parties want to hide. Keep it up, but like what one comment says, is it possible to divulge the actual donors by name? That will be even much better.

Well done NAREP keep it up.
This is a party I can get behind. They have demonstrated their understanding that a political party should have transparency and accountability to the people – their potential electorates.
NAREP you have my vote. Thank you Elias for showing the way.
The idea is commendable but the figures re cooked up.Simple check, fuel and rubs K30 +,how about vehicle service and repairs? What about rental? Does naren own a building? If so where did you get the money’s to purchase it? If not why are you paying rentals an who is the owner, this an help distinguish personal winter ship of the party. How about telephone bills, electricity, water? Ou mean for the whole year you ave never incurred all these costs.please show s your assets and liabilities as well since yor transparent.
