Hjoe Moono
The Hon. Minister of Justice, Hon. Wynter Kabimba, SC, MP (Nominated) a few days ago appeared on national television saying:
“The constitution will not be decided by a small group of educated Zambians who use Chizungu (English) in social clubs because they are people who vilified Mr Michael Sata. They mocked the man and never attended his rallies, I was there myself and I never saw these type of Zambians who now want to hijack the process…..The people that voted for Michael Sata don’t even speak Chizungu. They live in Kanyama and when we speak to them they tell us that they want development first, they want roads, better health care and good education….Our manifesto has 28 programmes and the constitution happens to be just one of them”.
Now it is shocking that the entire Minister of Justice has shrunk so heavily in his execution of duties that he forgets that he is the country’s Minister of Justice—for the educated and not educated, for those in opposition and those in PF. Today the Hon. Minister says the constitution will not be decided by a small group of ‘educated Zambians’ since they did not attend Sata’s rallies. I couldn’t help but laugh at this man, he is surely a comedian, and would do well to audition for one of the Stand Up Comedies at Lusaka Play House. He has great potential in sarcastic comedy.
It was this same man and his boss, Mr. Sata that set up a Technical Committee and spent billions of kwachas to draft the constitution. A committee made up entirely ‘educated Zambians’, some PF sympathizers, carefully selected by Wynter Kabimba and his boss. Today, with the draft constitution on Wynter’s table, he diverts attention that we need people from Kanyama to draft the constitution, or that we need to attend to their needs rather than pay attention to the PF’s programme of constitution review.
So did Wynter think that the members of the Technical Committee were a bunch of illiterates that only care about their bellies? Is he now let down that there are infact people in Zambia who are above board and care about the wellbeing of the nation beyond party affiliation and gluttony?
Is that the reason he now wants to be the all caring Father Christmas to people of Kanyama when the billions of Kwacha spent on the technical committee could have eased the suffering of these same people he now wants to associate himself with? The last time he appeared on TV he defended the government’s excessive spending and obsession with by-elections saying there is money for such. Today, he diverts attention and wants to appear all caring to the poor Zambians that they are now a priority. Surely, how long does he think he can hold onto these lies?
Today Mr. Kabimba is caught in a web of lies, and is finding it hard to justify these lies, and when he does so, he exposes his inexperience in national governance. How does an educated lawyer, a state counsel, ODS, surely take pride in illiteracy? Perhaps this explains why he was an ardent supporter of the regressive ‘Local Language Instruction’ policy initiated by his counterpart in the Ministry of Education. Mr. Kabimba wants only to govern people that do not speak’ Chizungu’, so he makes sure, with the Minister of education, that all our children in primary school do not learn Chizungu, putting into the practice the saying: ‘kill them before they grow’.
Mr. Kabimba thinks he lives in an exclusively PF country, or thinks he can create one like that. He doesn’t seem to realize that he lives in a diverse country, and that his government is a government of such a diverse nation. The colonial approach of divide and rule he is trying to use would not work. Alas, sad for him, our nation is becoming more enlightened by day. People are getting more educated by day. Even in Kanyama where he thinks there is a reserve of illiterates for ease of manipulation, education and literacy is on the rise as people becomes more enlightened and see through the lies he is now caught in.
Now surely, this man is proving to be terminally untrustworthy and close to being disturbed too. He too is proving to be an obsessive confidence-trickster who seems to live in an imaginary world created in his head. To the extent that he even believes what he says, he is delusional. To the extent that he does not, he is an actor whose first invention — himself — has been his only interesting role, and expects the entire nation to find amusement in his trickery. The sooner the educated Minister of justice who spoke chizungu the entire programme realizes that his government has a national mandate to govern and attend to the needs of the entire population, the better for him and his party.
Throw away that Kabimba… holy God, every time I write his name I get the anti-virus popping up on my computer. I have to wipe & clean computer twice.
Good that Bishop Nevers Mumba have found the devil among the Zambians, and praying to clean such dirty like Kabimba. Zambia shall be saved, and HH agree with the Pastor.
PF team have been caught pants down.
This is a very cheap article, with poor analysis, if one can, out of discretion, call it such. When I saw the article, I thought I would see clear points of Kabimba or the PF’s promises against their actual performance on the scorecard, with clear and persuasive analysis. Nothing. Instead, all I found are attacks and personal assumptions of what Kabimba allegedly thinks. I just googled the author and found that he is ‘educated’. Why can’t he then show us the difference between him and Kabimba when it comes to putting points across? What is Moono saying or what did he really want to say in this article? Is it that hard to try lucidly to develop an argument that gives that direct point, showing along the way that you are familiar with the relevant arguments, facts, and subject?
This Winter is a scam.
The behaviour of:
Sata : Dementia, psychotic disorder (Chamba smoking)
Scott : Parkinson Disease
Winter : HIV
Tells the whole story of the baboons you elected. They do not have the ability to control their thinking
KABIMBA WANTS TO ELIMINATE HH
“I have ran my race, I became Zambia’s 5th president and now I have nothing more to run for,” President Sata is reported to have said publicly before Kabimba, according to the source. “It is up to you to fix your problems now. Even if HH wins today I will not have any problems, so if you feel you will be in problems, you deal with him right now.”
good analyses some politicians think uneducated one can be used to cover up their mess, the constitution was promised to educated and uneducated we need it now. when an educated is caught in greed and selfishness fail to reason that what is happening in pf 2016 pf you are going steal enough money for court cases.

Aids has started affecting red lips kabimba brain cells, that’s why he keeps vomiting verbal diahorrea from his aids infected mouth.
Politics day in and out. SATA did that. HH did this. Winter said that. Nevers did that. Blogers and commentataz and aritcle writers are the only ones peferct.
Joseph Goebbels (Hitler’s Minister of Propaganda)
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
Stop attacking Kabimba that you think is next PF presidential candidate!
Spare him bitter people who will not rule Zambia till you humble yourselves and overcome your unfounded bitterness and insularistic mentality
Leadership under the PF has hit record LOWS, it seems so hard for them to realise that this country is supposed to be far better off when its their time to leave than they actually found it.
God Almighty, You are our Only Hope, Please help us out of this mess.
Amen!!
Hmmmm Mr. Kabimba, you think educated people never voted for you? What have you done for the people of Kanyama you claim that they are not educated? You removed subsidies from fuel and maize and you told us that that money will be used to build Zambia in different sectors especially to bettet up the rural people’s lives. Where did you take that money? You have borrowed a lot of money, where will the next government in 2016 going to get the money to start paying back? Dont you think many people will suffer most?
Your PF president when people started talking about the president must have a degree, the degree was produced. Then I will ask you, what makes one to be educated, does it mean to produce a degree? Insulting the people of Kanyama at its best.
Those of you who watched the interview live, tell us how good was the interview in terms of grilling Kabimba? This was a golden opportunity for Kabimba and PF lies to be roasted, grilled by a tough journalist with abilities late Mando, or bbc Steven Sacher.
Kudus should go to young Grevazio Zulu for handling the interview in a meticulous and mature manner. Kabimba’s seemingly prepared script was thrown off tracking by Zulu’s questions.
I watched the interview. The interviewer was very good, he was prodding right from first question, but Kabimba came prepared – he was eloquent, logical and persuasive. I am beginning to shift my views on him. I am beginning to find no basis for following the crowd that hate Kabimba. Its the third time I am watching Kabimba and he is changing my views one interview at a time.
Cool down! Hon Kabimba is not in Washington this very day. The fate of Africa is being sealed there by people like President designate of the Republic of Zambia!
For now our attention is averted to Kabimba, HH, Chellah, ‘educated and uneducated’ people, anything except the president. His last major performance of swearing-in some officials has earned him a holiday of indefinite duration to stay hidden out of sight and our minds.
The two offices are complementary. Please separate statements of the Office of Secretary General from statements of the Minister of Justice. There is nothing wrong with showing support for the poor and uneducated majority of the Zambian people.
Nothing wrong! Except that when you set up an important committee with respectable people of vast academic and political experience , whose work you rubbish as a few elite then there is everything wrong! Sometimes avoid supporting particular individuals because of your perception for whatever reason. Take a holistic view this who PF thing is a mess whichever angle you view it from be it from the presidency, the justice ministry or the party secretary general.
This ka Dr. makasa is usele.ss and a pf sympathiser.
If one had any doubts the Sunday interview cleared them: Wynter is certainly a disservice to our beloved President Sata!!!! Without the likes of WK, the President would remain in power almost indefinitely, even under the proposed constitution.
Wynter Kabimba li tolle sana. He thinks he is the only one who is clever in this country. Just wait, your destruction is nigh dear wynter.
Why were the uneducated not called to the consitution confrence or commission review so that they say it for themselve that they want roads and not a new consititution?. It is the educated who have to represent them. Afterall they cant even understand the chizungu in which it is written
The late Geoge kunda was more educated than winter and those were great lawyers compared to winter,he tried the same critiks 2 try and hijack the constitution but it failed guyscott was amoung the oposition mp `s dancing outside parliament when the constitution failed.then who is winter late him **** around he will b caught very soon
Kabimba is correct. The majority of people who voted PF are the poor people and they are happy with what PF is doing.Stop yapping and distracting the hard working men and women.Kabimba is frank and intelligent…..there is no web of lies here to talk about.
@ 1 Nostradamus.
Nostra at his best, a block buster film Zambians entertained to, MMD Chief Boot licker sounds bitter that no one believed him when once statted Kabimba has ‘mashabe, ingulu, mizimu, evil spirits’ to be exorcist.
