    • Mushota!!!
Do you sleep pa internet why are you always the first to comment. guess you don’t have much to do, only one of those PF dignatories sent abroad with nothing to do only chewing tax payers money. the whole day on the internet

    • Iwe ka Mushota where did u want him to face, did u want him to look at pipi, if yes, for what coz he sees it everyday?

    • The stadium looks good except for the roofing.

How do you pick on the colours yellow and white when we are such a filthy country?

The roofing is already so dusty making the stadium look so old.
Unless there will be frequent cleaning, if not, change the roofing and clean the surrounding places to permanently remove the dust and filth

    • The stadium looks good except for the roofing!!

Who decided to pick on the colours yellow and white in our dirty and filthy city?

someone change that before it turns into black by the end of the year

    • Lol…ati iwe ka Mushota…why are u always the first one to comment…kikikikikikikkikiki…ba Mushota…mwamonekela yama…ati tamulala…lyonse muba fye pa Lusaka times doing nothing….lolest…ine kuti nai kulika…Get to work mdala…not mule sheta fye tax payers mula…lolest…day made…#Dead..

  1. This is what we call development not politicking all the time.UK is cashing in huge amount of money due to good infrastructure.Well done PF the international community is very happy with this Govt.especially itfocuses on improving the lives of the average Zambian people.
I have no dought PF will carry the day.Unless you are blind you will not agree thre is massive infrastructure development through out the country HE MC Sata wil leave a mark trust me.

  3. Nice stadium and good pics. Now can you imagine if Kambwili has his wish; This stadium was going to be called Gabon Air Disaster National Stadium.

  4. It was a Zambian woman who posted these pictures, because she was deliberately misspelling players names. Even on TV news they do same… ati kumeka.

  5. The stadium looks great for African standards. The grass on the pitch could be more greener though. At least we’re moving forward..

  6. The surroundings look good. Took some photos in Oct. 2013 and the area facing Gt. North road were an eyesore. . . . Congs to Zambia.

  7. Pics 23 and 25 should have invoked the wrath of normal people but we just laugh to be seen to be having a nice time!
Pic 23 means Chipolopolo is a dog!
The chap in Pic 25 should have been arrested for being a public nuisance!
The tragedy is the Af people will ruin such a magnificent structure once handed over to them! See they are already turning the whole place into a toilet!
    Afs don’t appreciate good things.
    RB did his part!

  8. BADLY MAITAINED TURF (KAPINGA). WHEN THE CHINAMAN WATERED IT THAT FIRST AND LAST TIME IT WAS EVER WATERED, LET ALONE GIVEN GRASS FOOD. IT IS ALREADY TURNING BROWN. WHEN THE CHINAMAN LEAVES ZAMBIA WHEN THEY FINISH COPPER THAT WILL BE WHOLE. THE TURF WILL TURN INTO DRY DUST. I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHY THE STADIUM MANAGEMENT (IF THERE’S ANY), CAN’T THINK OF SINKING A DEDICATED BOREHOLE FOR MAINTAINING THE GREENERY AMBIENCE.

  9. I’ve read about Zambian coach Janza…and Kalaba…apparently a Zambian player. So who is Mampi? Never heard of this person.

  10. FAB U LOUS! Congratulations! We need to maintain it and build more sports facility. Next Commonwealth Games in Zambia!

  11. Such stadia has been overdue for decades. Other African countries have had the same for some time. That is why they have been able to host the Africa cup and we have not. Not keen on the design in terms of the running track and other extra space that makes spectators view the match from afar. If some people want to interpret this as development in human terms, good luck. If this has gone hand in hand with development with a human face/index, well and good. There has to be a trickle down sustainable alleviation of poverty and access to basic human needs like health, education and opportunities for self advancement, for me to be mesmerised by a stadium structure.

  12. You fools! since when did Zambia had a player called Fwayo Munthari? i thought we only had Fwayo Tembo and Christopher Munthari?

  13. Thank you very much Levy Patrick Mwanawasa(MYRIP) for having initiated these projects in Ndola, Lusaka and other parts of the country.. they are stunning good. And I hope people will guard these facilities jealously..

  14. In our dream world, the guy urinating against the wall could have been arrested had the PF been exactly as we had expected them to be and to do before the elections. Now in the midst of all this beauty and without regard to who is there animalistic behavior have taken control. And soon the heroes stadium will be as stink as any other market/bus terminus in Lusaka. All is normal!
