  1. I have no reason at all, but I resent Edgar Lungu, he just seems disingenuous from the pictures, for no reason at all.

Very difficult man to like, he seems like someone you can not trust at all.

    Thanks

    • Hon. Edgar Lungu should not be too close with Rajan Mahtani. Mahtani is a snake. I dont like that man. Nimuselela kwakaba. He now sees that Kabimba is out, and now he’s trying to be close to Lungu.
Otherwise nice pics LT. I see the future first lady right there. Not bad at all. Better than Mrs Buckett or Dr. Buckett (Keeping Up Appearances).

    • pic# 8 that six storey construction should have been in Solwezi where its all happening i dont understand how it ended up in chinsali!!!

      pic# 15,16 & 17,,, mama kaseba looks like she`s 5/6months pregnant,,, maloza ayo!!!

    • Pic # 23..kikikikikikikiki,,,, bakamba ba eddie Lungu,, sipuni,,, its a cake not soup ya mbuzi!!! yaba, some of these public acts one needs some coaching,,, kikinkikikik

    • @ndobo, you talk of Kankasa, wait … go and check Muka Yama’s miniskirt and tell me who is going on maternity leave.

    • MUSHOTA, I THOUGHT YOU ARE GOING TO COMMENT ON HIS SHINY ALCOHOL-FACE ALCOHOL ADDICT. KA LUNG NANGU, “KALALANDA IFYAMANO NANGU NAKAKOLWA”, SHOULD SLOW DOWN ON ALCOHOL. ALCOHOLISM CAN CLEARLY BE SEEN ON HIS FACE.

    • First and foremost, lets learn to respect leadership in place.we have a sitting in president, Edgar C. Lungu. negative cheap talks will not make him lose his seat but through ballot box and it is through ballot box that he is president.from what i see he might just be an answer to the sufferings of the Zambian people. he seems to have attributes of social moral consciousness.he just needs a team of men and women who can transform things around.people must be choosen based on merits.

  2. African children use hands when eating (yuk) and sit on the floor when eating

Why are those children allowed to be sitting on chairs?
The chairs are for a ‘Master’

Very few black people look real when they dress up in a suit, use a folk and knife and sit on a chair.
Your ancestral past suggests these acts are for a Whiteman.

Read your history and discourage children sitting on chairs or using folk and knife for such do not belong
    to you.

I know this hurts but I am right once again

    Thanks

  3. Do we really need a six storey building in Muchinga? Who is going to occupy it? Where are the businesses going to come from? Why not build that in Lumwana? That’s a total waste rip off of our country’s resources.
In Picture 19 is that HH in blue after Sata? Well done ECZ

  4. Most of these street kids actually have parents. I witnessed an incidence where this woman traveled all the way from Lusaka to Livingstone when she heard that her son who’d gone missing a few months back had been spotted in the streets of Livingstone. Most of these kids are just indisciplined chaps who do not want to be controlled or sent. I find it hard to feel sorry for most of them.

    • My sister fostered her friends child when her friend and husband died because no relatives were to be found.

When my sister died, all the child’s relatives popped out of the wall and fought my family for our businesses and properties claiming they were her relatives after all!!

So many irresponsible people having children.

    • @Dudelove
We must always care for children even when their folks are irresponsible. A wrong child must be put right.

  5. My favs:-

    Picture 26!
Edgar to Mulenga, through his teeth and under his breath with wide smile, “You know I’m the next President, ok!” Mulenga answers, through his teeth and under his breath with wide smile, “Yeah Right, in you dreams old man!”

Lovely pic of gentleman Lungu feeding cake to his wife.

    Picture 35
Mrs Lungu, looking good and good figure.

  6. pic#1 BA LT WHERE IS THIS TRAINING CENTRE? IS IT IN HEAVEN? THIS ARE JUST BASICS OF NEWS REPORTING YOU DO NOT KNOW. THERE’S ALWAYS SOMETHING MISSING AND SERIOUS GRAMMATICAL ERROR ALMOST IN EACH PARAGRAPH OF EVERY ARTICLE IN PAPER. PLEASE, CORRECT YOUR NEWS THROUGH PICTURE HEADLINE FROM “The Week in Pictures” The WEEKS in Pictures’. THE CURRENT TITLE IS MISLEADING. IT GIVES AN IMPRESSION THAT THOSE PICTURES WERE TAKEN WITHIN ONE WEEK. OR WORSE STILL, THAT THEY ARE ISSUED ON A WEEKLY BASIS. OR YOU JUST DON’T CARE ABOUT IT MAYBE?

  7. BA LT AGAIN PIC#4. AFTER GIVING FOOD TO THE ROUNDED UP STREET KIDS, WHAT HAPPENED THEREAFTER. DID THE AUTHORITIES FIND THEM A PROPER PLACE OR THREW THEM BACK TO STREET, AGAIN. EASILY, THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN INVESTIGATED AND REPORTED ON THIS PICTURE. EVEN A FOOLISH PERSON WHO RAISE A QUESTION OF, ‘WHAT HAPPENED TO THE KIDS AFTER BEING FED?’. MOST OF THE THINGS YOU MISS ARE JUST REPORTING OR REPORT WRITING BASICS.

  8. BA LT, AGAIN PIX#4 AND 6. THE READERSHIP WOULD BE MORE INTERESTED IN KNOWING WHAT NEXT HAPPENED TO THE STREET KIDS AFTER BEING FED. DID THEY THROW THEM BACK TO STREETS? WHAT SPECIAL AND PERMANENT ARRANGEMENT/SOLUTION DID THE AUTHORITIES HAVE FOR THE KIDS?

  9. Picture 32…Angolan Minister of External Relations and Former President Kenneth Kaunda…Kaunda has never been a minister in Angola! Please do research because i don’t think that this was an error again and AGAIN by LT. Where are your proof readers? What level of education did your journalists attain, if at all. I am disgusted by this level of incompetence!!!!!!

  10. These fotos are so rich they take you back home! No place like home…….. Just look at those smiles as if every child has shoes and a kit bag for school……. in reality, 90% of them sleep on the floor… but the smiles or boy you’d think it’s xmas! Just love Africans, God bless those people. It’s Friday natunwa ba LT Zambian way but my message is not drank… mwatunuka bonse!

  11. Not trying to throw shade at the esteemed leader

Doesn’t Edger Lungu feeding his wife a piece of cake look un-natural?

In the other pic she looks grumpy. Like she is holding in ‘akasushi’

  12. I respect Sata for the sole reason he’s really looked after our First Republican President.
We are the envy of many nations on earth, especially Africa, the way we have respected our Elder Statesman K.K.
Now before you Bloggers go for my jugular, K.K. was no Angel, & neither are we. We all make mistakes, & thats what makes us Human!
A lot of You holier than thou characters, are Pimps, Pirates, Womanisers, Corrupt Fraudsters, so let us look after our elders. Long live K.K.

  13. Am I the only one who noticed the ODF: “Open Defecation Free.” Efinshi ifyo? So we have to declare areas as Not allowing open defectaion, does that mean that there are toilets in all of his chiefdoms.

  14. Mushota, your comments have no substance at all, who do you think you are? Just an African who happen to be taken to Scottland, and you already forgotten that you used to eat with ifmaboko, Lelo mwasanguka ab sungu? You are not near the colour my dear, still black are alled third class citizen, that’s what you are!!! Don’t cheat yourself.
