Movement for Multi-party Democracy (MMD) President Dr Nevers Mumba has promised to change the face of Kabompo district if elected President of Zambia during the presidential by-elections on 20th January 2015.
Addressing a rally in Kabompo Dr Mumba said Zambia needs a God fearing President who will honour his campaign promises.
He said he will ensure that Kabompo and North-western province in general will have equal share of the national development if he is elected president.
He said MMD is the only party that has good experience and therefore appealed to the Kabompo people to vote for his party during the forthcoming by-elections.
Speaking at the same gathering Elizabeth Chitika has since urged all women to vote and rally behind MMD and its President Nevers Mumba.
Ms Chitika said what people are seeing now is a new MMD that is based on respecting and honouring its campaign promises.

Judgement day,
Surely judgement is coming on the 20th of January. Mr. Sakwiba Sikota should have been the president of UPND if it hadn’t been for the same concerns of tribal people have against HH and you know it. HH must come clean and explain why he accepted to lead instead of following the party protocol.
PRESIDENT EDGAR CHAGWA LUNGU has been cautious in his campaign messages. All his promises are feasible and backed by clear steps of what is being done and what the next steps are. He has a well-crafted and realistic development agenda.
