Zambia number one Kennedy Mweene says he will not retire from international football after making his sixth Africa Cup outing.
Mweene has been part of the Zambia setup since 2006 when he made his Africa Cup debut in Egypt.
“I am just 30 years old but unless my legs can’t take it anymore, I still have the energy and I am still available for the national team anytime, any day,” Mweene said.
Meanwhile, Mweene and his Zambia team mates are currently on their way back home following their preliminary stage elimination from the 2015 Africa Cup in Equatorial Guinea.
We need you Kennedy. Your expereince will be needed by any newcomers to the team. And you are a great goalkeeper as well as a good person. Viva Mweene!
I couldn’t agree more.
May God give you good health, and keep on looking after yourself and your family young man. We appreciate you.
Ati I’m just 30, Mweene aged 30?? ..Footballers don’t grow…
Otherwise keep it up Mweene, we really need you.
the only enemy to mweene’s ambition is dishonour janza who seems to be in a hurry to bring in young inexperienced so that he can sale them and pocket the cash. Dishonour janza is a clueless useles coach.
Janza should be fired for the sake of Chipolopolo ‘ s future
What ‘re you guys waiting instead’, Fire him now we don’t need him anymore. his a fool
Keep it up Mweene. God bless you.
I have never seen or found such zambians who forces their players to get retire like this. Be carefull otherwise those young guys you are pushing to the nation team will lead you to the of African football. Please let the players don’t force them for retirement. Are you going to play it if so? Hand luck mweene the nation still eeds you……..
